"Hoan Kiem Lake, right in the center of Hanoi, is a peaceful spot that feels like an escape from the busy city streets. With its calm waters surrounded by leafy trees, it’s the perfect place for a quiet walk or to just sit and relax. The bright red The Huc Bridge and Ngoc Son Temple give the lake its unique charm, making it a favorite hangout for both locals and tourists."

Highlights: Hoan Kiem Lake is located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, surrounded by tree-lined walkways. It is a place for locals to enjoy the cool and take a walk. There are two buildings on the lake, Ngoc Son Temple on the north and Tortoise Tower on the south. In addition to the beautiful lake view, you can also see the typical local architectures around. On the northeast side of Hoan Kiem Lake, there is a red The Huc Bridge, which connects to the Yushan Temple in the center of the northern part of the lake. It is a perfect spot for taking pictures.

"Vietnam is in the Han cultural circle, and since ancient times, it has been in addition to the faith of Buddha, Taoism and Confucian culture. In modern 1858, the Xianfeng Dynasty brought Christianity and Catholicism into the Central and Southern Peninsula with the French colonial period. Vietnam coexisted with multi-religious and multi-faith. St. Joseph's Cathedral, also known as Hanoi Cathedral, was completed on Christmas Eve 1886 during the French colonial period. Free free visit to prayer during the day, and wedding activities are more special, which is now a popular scene in Hanoi."

Highlights: St. Joseph's Cathedral is an ancient church in Hanoi. It is a representative French building in Hanoi. The Cathedral features a complex main altar inside, fitted with stained-glass windows, and consists of two square-shaped towers. The gate of the Cathedral will only open when the mass is conducted, and visitors need to use side doors when it is closed. Opposite to the Cathedral is Nha Tho Street, where Hanoi's emerging boutique shops and cafes are located.

"Ly Thai To Park is a statue and a little square around Hoan Kiem Lake, so it would be nice to stop by and see it at least once."

Highlights: Li Taizu was the founding monarch of the Li Dynasty in Vietnam. Taizu was taboo Li Gongyun, who reigned from 1009 to 1028. The statue of Li Taizu Square is solemn and atmospheric, with a royal style. The square is located on the east side of Hoan Kiem Lake. The whole square is very big, and in the evening there are citizens dancing square dancing here, which is very lively.

"Temple by the lake. Nicely decorated and has Koi fish. There’s also a massive stuffed turtle in a glass box inside."

Highlights: Yushan Temple is located on the small Yushan Island by the side of Hoan Kiem Lake. According to records, the Zheng Dynasty of Vietnam once built Ruiqing Palace and Zuowang Pavilion on Yushan Island, which were later destroyed by war. Later, a Taoist temple was built on Yushan Island, which was rebuilt in 1872 and further expanded in scale. The Qixu Bridge is an arch bridge with a wooden structure running east-west. After crossing the bridge, there is Zhenbo Pavilion in front of Yushan Temple, which means "pillar of Wenlan", in order to control the waves. There is a wall on the way to enter the temple, which means "forget the world". There is a pen tower on a small soil slope, and a large inkstone platform is built relatively not far away. One day every year, when the sun rises, the tip of the pen tower shadows into the inkstone platform. There are many inscriptions and couplets in Yushan Temple. The entire monastery has a delicate structure and is small and exquisite, which complements the scenery of Hoan Kiem Lake, just like the scenery of Penglai. Yushan Island was the Diaoyutai of Emperor Li Dynasty in the 15th century. In the 18th century, the Guandi Temple was built on the island, and later expanded into Yushan Temple. Now it is still dedicated to Guandi and national heroes. There is also a tortoise specimen salvaged from Hoan Kiem Lake in mid-1968, weighing 250 kilograms, making the legend of the turtle in the lake even more mysterious.
