Now, you can only view the entire Forbidden City from a distance; many rooms are closed, and you can't go inside. Seeing just one is enough. It's also very crowded, so it's best to buy tickets two days in advance.
The palace is not too big, and it's well maintained. Lots of interesting architectural details to see. Many visitors and tourists even on normal days.

There were too many people at Shanhaiguan during the National Day holiday. If Li Zicheng had so many people, he would have been able to defend Shanhaiguan. The problem is that there are too many people, and the experience is much worse. Parking is very difficult, and it is also difficult to move after entering. But the scenery at the seaside is still good, and you can play in the sand and water. Overall, it is still okay.
I thought it was the official guide for the scenic area, but it turned out to be a Ctrip-produced guide. Shanhaiguan is magnificent, but the scenic area is average—not very large, and without much else to offer. The historical stories told by the guide were quite interesting. Shanhaiguan, also known as Yuguan, Yuguan, and Linluguan, is one of the northeastern passes of the Ming Great Wall. Before 1990, it was considered the eastern starting point of the Ming Great Wall. Known as one of the "Three Wonders of the Great Wall of China," "the First Pass in the World," and "the Throat of the Border Counties and the Guarantee of the Capital," it echoes Jiayuguan thousands of miles away and is renowned worldwide. In 1985, Shanhaiguan was listed as one of the "Top Ten Scenic Spots in China." Laolongtou, a National AAAAA-level scenic spot located 5 kilometers south of Shanhaiguan District, Qinhuangdao City, marks the eastern point where the Ming Great Wall meets the sea. It is the only section of the Great Wall that integrates land and sea defenses, including mountain, sea, pass, and city walls. The Great Wall during the Ming Dynasty spanned high mountains and steep cliffs, winding like a giant dragon into the Bohai Sea, so the first section of the Great Wall was called "Laolongtou".

As a frequent traveler, the only thing I recommend about Xianluo Island is the sea cable car. This suspended, non-enclosed gondola ride is incredibly thrilling, with the sea breeze caressing your face and the vast expanse of turquoise waters, making it well worth a try. However, Xianluo Island itself isn't worth exploring; it's a small area and the attractions are relatively old. The island's conch museum isn't particularly impressive, but there are plenty of parking lots nearby, making it relatively convenient.
The island is small, and the details are beautiful to be discovered. It's just crowded, so you can take a boat to get to the island faster. I didn't take any photos or videos when I got off the island. I could have found more places to take photos.

The Araya scenic area is excellent and highly recommended. Located in the Gold Coast Resort, it boasts a long coastline and beautiful beaches. Summer is the best time to visit. Since it's a closed-door area, safety is guaranteed.
Hidden beneath the coastal dunes, the Aranya Dune Art Museum is a work of land art in its own right. Its interior resembles a mysterious cave, with winding galleries connected by several light wells. Natural light pours in, blending with the sea breeze and the sound of waves to become part of the exhibition. Experiencing contemporary art here and experiencing the ingenious fusion of man-made and natural elements is a unique sensory experience.

It was a great experience. The service was excellent. The attractions were good. I tried the indoor rafting, which was great. The fish spa was nice, with its small fish and water guns. The breakfast at the Suifeng restaurant and the food on the third floor of the hot springs were also very impressive and good.
Thanks to the rafting guy who pulled us out and helped me find my glasses. 🙏🙏🙏. The rafting waves were so thrilling. So much fun. The park is so huge. One day is definitely not enough to explore. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The service is great! No words can express my excitement at this moment❤

It was cloudy the day we visited; a clearer sky would have made the views even more expansive. The island boasts the only all-stone temple. The round-trip speedboat ride cost 15 yuan each way. Perhaps the driver was showing off, but the ride was quite intense, a rare experience nonetheless.
The Bijia Mountain Scenic Area is definitely worth a visit. The natural sand and gravel embankment connecting the sea and the land is narrow and long, like a brush resting on a small island in the shape of a "mountain", hence the name "Bijia Mountain".

Yulong Sand Lake's yellow sands stretch like golden waves, nestled amidst a turquoise expanse. Any photo opportunity creates a breathtaking spectacle, and it also embodies the ancient heritage of "China's First Dragon." The must-do desert buggy ride is thrilling, a 25-minute adrenaline-pumping experience. Paired with scenic views from the Bailong sightseeing bus and camel rides, the experience is a perfect balance of action and tranquility, ensuring a truly captivating experience. Highly recommended!
I drove over 200 kilometers specifically to experience Yulong Sand Lake, but overall, I was pretty underwhelmed. The park is quite large, but the layout is illogical. The ticket prices are also quite confusing: 80 yuan for the entrance fee and 120 yuan for the lakeside train (including the entrance fee), effectively telling everyone to take the train. The scenery around the lake is rather monotonous and lacks any novelty. The sandboarding and camel rides are both fun and require additional fees.

I came here with my kids to play. During the National Day holiday, there were more people than animals. I waited in line for an hour but still didn't see any animals. Then I fell asleep because I was tired.
It's very suitable for bringing children. It's so convenient and comfortable to drive in. You can see almost all animals except pandas. It's very good to travel during off-peak hours.

[View] Ulan Butong is a three-dimensional landscape blending grassland and forest, with elegant and beautiful Yin and soft in the south, masculine masculinity in the north, colorful feasts in the four seasons, humanistic and natural symphony of lakes and wetlands, and characteristics of biological diversity and multiple experiences.
The tourist highlights of Wulanbutong Grassland are rich and varied, covering natural landscapes, cultural history, special activities and food. The following is a detailed introduction: Natural Landscape - Vast grassland and diverse landforms: Wulanbutong Grassland is located in the Inner Mongolia Plateau, with an average altitude of 1,640 meters, and the grassland is vast. The eastern and central mountain ranges in the scenic area are continuous, and there are many sand dunes in the northwest. There are also wetlands, rivers, lakes, etc. For example, there are large areas of wetlands along the Wulan River and Jiangjun Paozi, with excellent vegetation and rich species.   - Colorful autumn colors of Wucai Mountain: From September to October every year, Wucai Mountain presents a colorful landscape due to its rich vegetation. The birch and poplar trees are yellow, the maple and oak trees turn red, the pines and cypresses are green all year round, and various shrubs are also of different colors, as if the palette has been overturned.  - European style scenery area: The rolling hills and grasslands are dotted with sparse or dense birch trees. The grassland and forest are perfectly integrated, and the scenery is charming, comparable to the European grassland scenery.   - Panlong Gorge: The Sarik River flows through the mountains and ridges in this valley. The steep banks are densely forested, and the valley bottom is covered with water and grass. The river is winding like a dragon for dozens of kilometers.   Humanities and History - Ancient battlefield site: This was the ancient battlefield where Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty personally fought against Galdan. There are ruins such as General Paozi, Twelve Camps, and Tong Guogang's Tomb. It is said that General Paozi was formed by the gushing out of groundwater after the Qing army's artillery scattered Galdan's camel formation.  - Film and TV shooting base: Wulanbutong is a famous film and TV location shooting site. More than 60 film and TV works such as "My Fair Princess", "Kangxi Dynasty" and "Emperor Wu of Han" were filmed here. There are many stone tablets of film and TV dramas in the scenic area, which has become a popular choice for tourists to check in. Special activities and food - Folk culture activities: Grassland Nadam is a traditional Mongolian festival, with horse racing, wrestling, archery and other competitive events. In addition, there are bonfire parties, Wulanbutong Night and other activities, where tourists can sing and dance with herdsmen and experience ethnic culture. - Grassland entertainment projects: You can experience horse riding, camel riding, sand motorcycles, sand sliding and other entertainment projects, galloping on the grassland, feeling the pleasure of the wind whistling in your ears, or take an off-road vehicle deep into the hinterland of the grassland to explore those little-known beauties. - Mongolian specialties: There are meat delicacies such as roasted lamb legs, beer-baked lamb, and air-dried beef, as well as special drinks such as kumis. Visitors can taste the authentic Mongolian flavor.
