Cotter Dam in Canberra is a very interesting place to visit. The waterfall of the dam looks more majestic than many natural ones. There are two hiking trails in the dam. I went there for the Last Post Ceremony (it's free but you still have to book tickets online) and it was quite interesting. The ticket to the ceremony doesn't grant you access to the other parts of the museum but if you have enough time and are interested in Australia's war and conflict history it looked well displayed.The War Memorial is also a great starting point for a hike up to the Mount Ainslie Lookout with a beautiful view over Canberra - especially great during sunset.
It's a really beautiful building. You must go inside the building above. It's very beautiful, but when you look at the paintings inside, you still feel sad because of the war.

Canberra's Chinatown doesn't have a memorial archway like the ones in Melbourne and Sydney. It's just a street full of Chinese restaurants. It's not very long. There are many restaurants of various flavors from the north to the south to the northwest of China. There are also several supermarkets, and there are a few scattered Indian and Thai restaurants. There are parking spaces on both sides, but it seems that parking spaces are quite tight.
Strictly speaking, this place cannot be called Chinatown at all. It is too small. It is estimated that it takes only 5 minutes to walk through the whole street. There are small Chinese supermarkets where you can buy some Chinese seasonings and other Chinese products. There are also some small restaurants, which are not big in scale. In short, I don’t recommend coming to this Chinatown. There is nothing special about it. I personally feel that the Chinatowns in Sydney and Melbourne are quite large, and the Chinatown in Adelaide is also decent. There are several Chinese supermarkets and even more Chinese restaurants.
