This is a man-made scenic spot that combines natural scenery. There is no entrance fee, only a sightseeing bus ticket. There are 11 stops in total, and you can get off at each stop to take a look. There are quite a lot of sightseeing buses, so you don’t have to wait long for a bus.
The Nenjiang Bay Tourist Area is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot that combines wetland ecological tourism with Nabo cultural experiences. Located in Da'an City, Jilin Province, just 1 kilometer from the urban area, the scenic area covers a total area of 3.5 square kilometers. It boasts over 100 scenic spots, including Laokanzi Wharf, the Liao Emperor's Fish-Watching Terrace, and the Huayi Tongfeng Courtyard. Famous for being the first bend of the thousand-mile Nenjiang River, it stands as a shining pearl on the Songnen Plain. It has been designated a National Forest Park, a National Wetland Park, and a National Water Conservancy Scenic Area. Climb the Liao Emperor's Fish-Watching Terrace and imagine the spectacular sight of the Liao Emperor catching fish through ice. Overlook the magnificent Nenxi Lake and Yulong Lake, witness the winter fishing festivities, and experience the millennia-old fishing and hunting culture. You can also wander through the pavilions and towers of the Huayi Tongfeng Courtyard, where each building tells the story of Nabo's history and culture. Enjoy the shrubs, flowers, winding paths, and corridors that complement the lake, creating a dazzling scene. Take a boat to Nabo Island and explore the Nabo culture of the Liao Dynasty.
