Yishui Lake, formerly known as Angezhuang Reservoir, is located 25 kilometers southwest of Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province.
"The wind whistles, the Yishui River is cold; the hero, once gone, never returns."
This is the verse of a song sung by Jing Ke during the Warring States Period, during a farewell farewell banquet with Prince Dan of Yan at Yishui River, before he journeyed to Qin to assassinate the King of Qin. This scene takes place on the shores of Yishui Lake.
It is connected to Langya Mountain to the south, Zijing Pass to the north, and the Qingxiling Scenic Area to the northeast.

The lake's waters are crystal clear, surrounded by misty mountains. The vast expanse of mist, the water and sky blending into one, embodies a graceful southern charm, comparable to the scenery of the Li River. Therefore, it is also known as the "Little Guilin of the North."

We went there early on a Wednesday morning. The scenery was beautiful and the crowds were minimal. We took a boat from Jinpo Pier and then disembarked after about a half-hour boat ride. There are two routes, one for the gentler and one for the steeper, depending on your preference. The climb up the steps was the easier part.

Baishishan is well worth a visit. The weathering of the rocks is indeed a bit like Zhangjiajie, but the stone is completely different and has its own unique flavor, showing the majestic style of the first mountain in Taihang. The service facilities in the scenic area are also relatively complete, so you can enjoy the trip without feeling too tired.
The scenic area is well-equipped with complete facilities. Cleaning was excellent, and the entire route was spotless. Cleaners diligently cleaned even the less-visited sections. We recommend entering through the East Gate, taking the cable car to the Jiucai Garden, then walking, descending the cable car, and then taking the Feiyunkou cable car to the top. Returning via the center line to the East Gate, this route covers most of the scenic spots. The center line is relatively flat, with steps down below the descent. It's recommended.

It was my first time to Xiongan, and I didn’t know how to travel around. I went to see Xiongan Impression, but I was not allowed to enter until 10 o’clock. The place is not big and clean, but there is no explanation. If I want to know more, I can only find it on my mobile phone.

It's really cool inside and the view is superb. A small suggestion is not to enter through the side door, it's not as cheap as the main entrance because you need the cloud cableway to get to the side door.
The combined ticket is very affordable, the attractions are very fun, it is a summer resort, I will come again next time, it is worth recommending, it is especially cool, a good experience, you can bring your family to play together

Stepping into Baiyangdian, it's like entering a water town dream forgotten by time. The sun shines on the water, sparkling, and the reeds in the distance are like a green ocean. The breeze blows, and the reeds rustle, playing the music of nature.
Sitting in a small boat and shuttling through it, you can see small fish and shrimps swimming in the clear lake water, and occasionally startle one or two water birds, flapping their wings and flying away. Every bay and every lotus leaf here is full of poetry, which makes people intoxicated.
The most unforgettable thing is the experience of going to Yedian. I contacted the boss in advance, and the boatman he arranged was enthusiastic and practical. Not only did he take us to appreciate the most beautiful scenery, but he also helped the children pick the lotus pods they had been thinking about. Lunch was at a local restaurant that had been open for 19 years, and we tasted the special food of Baiyangdian. The crayfish was tasty, and the lotus leaf egg pancakes were also unique.
Baiyangdian, without the hustle and bustle of the city, gave me a feast for the soul with its simple water village scenery, allowing me to truly feel the gentleness and beauty of nature.
Compared with the last visit to Baiyangdian in 2014, the cruise ship terminal is several kilometers away from the parking lot. Back then, we drove directly to the lake to board the ship, but now we take a bus to the terminal. The shore infrastructure has been significantly improved, making it suitable for large-scale group tours. Last time we took a small speedboat, this time we took a hand-cranked wooden boat. The only thing that has not changed is the salted duck eggs, which are still of good quality. I bought them for 100 yuan last time, but this time I bought 6 for 10 yuan.

Langya Mountain, formerly known as Langshan.
Located on the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain in the west of Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province,
it consists of five groups of thirty-six peaks.
It is named because of its numerous peaks, ruggedness, and
wolf-tooth-like appearance.
In 1941, the Japanese invaders carried out a "mopping-up" of the
North China base area.
In order to cover the safe transfer of the large troops,
squad leader Ma Baoyu, deputy squad leader Ge Zhenlin,
and soldiers Hu Delin, Hu Fucai,
Song Xueyi and other five people,
fought fiercely with the enemy for 5 hours and repelled the Japanese army's 4 charges.
After firing the last bullet,
the five warriors bravely jumped off the cliff.
Ma Baoyu, Hu Delin,
Hu Fucai died heroically.
After Ge Zhenlin and Song Xueyi jumped off the cliff,
they were hung on the branches of the cliff and survived,
writing a moving anti-Japanese heroic deed.
