The VIP experience is truly different, with dedicated access and parking, as well as dedicated areas for showering, changing, and picking up items. Baidi City, that famous spot where you can check in to "leave Baidi in the morning amidst the colorful clouds"! Even Li Bai couldn't resist praising it in a poem. Let's just say—the scenery is so stunning that even a passing immortal would stop and post a message! While climbing the stairs, I recommend silently chanting "The light boat has passed through ten thousand mountains" to cheer yourself up. After all, when your legs are shaking, you'll realize how much the poet's romance hurts your knees. 😂 (Friendly reminder: wear sneakers, bring a power bank, and remember to check the filter after taking photos to see if it's ethereal enough.)
I left Baidi in the morning amidst the colorful clouds, and returned to Jiangling a thousand miles away in one day. Finally, I checked in at Baidi City. The sky was blue and the clouds were white, and my mood was particularly beautiful. As I explored, I recited "The Memorial to the Emperor on Leaving the Capital" and commented on historical figures. I also checked in at Kuimen, took photos at the perfect spot, and ate bread in the breeze. The scenery was so beautiful and I felt so good that I didn't want to leave!

I recommend Qin Sha, the tour guide, who is warm and thoughtful. She also provides KFC breakfast and VIP treatment throughout the trip. I like the price/performance ratio very much. The place where Bureau 749 was filmed was a secret nuclear project that disappeared from the map for 18 years. It was not completed due to various reasons. Now it is open as a tourist attraction. More than 60,000 people were involved in the construction of such a huge underground space. The shocking sight inside was so strong that one could even reach the bottom of the nuclear reactor.
It's truly impressive and worth the visit, though a bit strenuous. Those with limited mobility should avoid wheelchairs, crutches, or strollers. The walk up and down stairs is dimly lit and the ground is wet.
From the Baiheliang Underwater Museum, take the No. 113 bus from the bus stop opposite the museum. It runs every 20 minutes (2 yuan). From the Wujiang Bridge West Station, take the No. 208 or No. 208C bus to the Baitao Old Street intersection (the stop is opposite where you get off, and it runs every half hour, so plan your time accordingly). The ride takes about 70 minutes. The 816 Project Visitor Center is just 20 meters away. While waiting for the bus on the way there, I met a young couple and offered to share a ride with them on the return trip. We took a taxi from the 816 entrance to Fuling North Station, which was perfect for four people. The taxi cost 33 yuan per person (including highway tolls, a total of 132 yuan, which is a bit steep. If you have more time, you can also take the bus back to Fuling North Station). You have to pay by credit card both on and off the bus, which costs 4 yuan. The scenic area's transportation and entrance ticket checking are in good order. We experienced the lazy route, glass bridge elevator and magic carpet. The whole journey took three hours. It was mostly cool, except for the Bayan Ancient Road, which was a little hot.
The directions were unclear, especially since the parking lot indicated by the navigation was actually at the exit. You had to take the scenic shuttle bus no matter where you parked. The trip up and down was tiring and extremely hard on your knees. The weather was hot, and only at the bottom of the valley did you feel a bit of coolness. The water project wasn't fully developed and was still under construction.
If you haven't been to Zhangjiajie or other places, it's worth a look. If you've already experienced it, it won't be as unique.

The facilities throughout Fantawild are made of genuine materials and are well-maintained. The floor, in particular, is smooth but not slippery, which I really enjoyed. We visited all three parks, each with a different theme. They all featured games and performances, with real people, sound and light, animation, and immersive experiences. My favorite performance was the I Ching, and my favorite game was Fly With Me.
I bought a night show ticket and went in at 5pm. There were many empty parking spaces in the parking lot and not many people in the venue. Some projects were not open, and some projects (such as go-karts) required additional fees. There was no need to queue for roller coasters, Nuwa patching the sky, bumper cars, etc. There was a waterwheel parade at 6pm, and a water splashing festival performance at 8pm in the summer, which was very good.
