Beautiful scenery. Pictures do not do justice to the majestic waterfalls and lakes.
We were very lucky today; it was a beautiful sunny day. Jiuzhaigou is incredibly photogenic; every shot, no matter how casual, was gorgeous. Definitely worth a visit.
My child was very happy throughout, which I find quite rare.
We arrived at the entrance of the valley a day early and checked into our hotel. We started exploring before 9 am the next day and left before 5 pm. We visited all the classic Y-shaped scenic spots: Arrow Bamboo Lake, Panda Lake, Pearl Shoal, Five-Flower Lake, Long Lake, Five-Colored Pool, Nuorilang Waterfall, Shuzheng Village, Spark Lake, and Twin Dragon Lake.

The pandas at the panda breeding base are incredibly cute. I was so lucky to even encounter one that could roll around and catch butterflies. If the green vegetation managed by the pandas could grow a bit bigger, the streets wouldn't be so sunny. Perhaps because of COVID-19, they do look rather dashing when they walk.
Inside the Moon Nursery, several baby pandas were huddled together, fast asleep behind the glass wall, their round bodies curled up on the wooden frame like plush toys. Suddenly, a black and white panda rolled over, revealing its pink belly, and the visitors gasped – it was "He Ye" stretching! Just then, the keeper fed it an apple, and it grabbed the bamboo pole, tilting its head to eat the fruit in its adorable, goofy manner, eliciting chuckles from everyone.

A drop in the ocean, perhaps twenty years from now, I'll revisit Dujiangyan and greet my younger self. I recommend hiking up the mountain and spending a little money to visit Yulei Pavilion, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Dujiangyan.
Great view and prepare to walk. Recommend to enter via west entrance for mostly down slope walk minimized uphill.

Looking back at a history spanning thousands of years—thankfully, we found a professional guide, otherwise we wouldn't have understood it at all 😄 I have to praise the guide, Xiao Xu (Xu Jinrui), for his excellent and captivating explanations! I really enjoyed the atmosphere here; it's a lovely garden scenic spot. Du Fu was truly Du Fu—he knew how to choose a place to settle down! Although his own thatched cottage was very simple, the location he chose was truly beautiful and ideal for living. In short, I really liked this place! At first, I thought the ticket price was a bit expensive before going inside, but after walking around, I found it was definitely worth it.
If you're interested in Tang poetry, you definitely should go; it's best to rent an audio guide or hire a guide.
Even if you know nothing about it, it's still a great place to stroll around like in a park 👍 The maple leaves are red, and there are also ginkgo trees perfect for taking photos; the scenery is beautiful. There are also some museums and bonsai gardens where you can admire plants. Even a quick visit and some photos took over an hour, and the subway station near the entrance isn't open yet.

Emei is so hard to go, but it was truly rewarding when I reached the peak. Its very crowded, but you will still be able to get some pretty nice pictures. The monkeys along the way really added the extra special touch to the trip :) some people found the bus journey up the winding roads very nauseating, but I slept throughout and was fine both ways! You can consider eating some anti-nausea pills some time before the bus ride though!
It was a fantastic experience. This was my third time here, and I finally saw the sea of clouds! The sunrise was breathtaking, and I felt incredibly uplifted. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the mountain was very convenient. I highly recommend it.

I went in the summer, it wasn't too hot, very comfortable. If you know about the history of the Three Kingdoms, it's a great place to visit. I highly recommend it. What impressed me most was the rotten wood statue next to Liu Bei, representing his son; "Rotten wood cannot be carved."
What a peaceful way to start the morning. We entered the shrine at around 9am and its was still relatively quiet. It was way bigger than we thought so plenty to explore. Our favourite was the bonsai trees section

After climbing Mount Emei, I went to Leshan to sample the local cuisine and also visited the famous Leshan Giant Buddha. Yes, the confluence of three rivers—the Minjiang, Qingyi, and Dadu—makes this auspicious location a sight to behold. The Buddha, built over 90 years, is definitely worth seeing. The red sandstone along the riverbank is easily weathered, and the section of the ancient path that once stood there is now a protected historical site, closed to traffic since around 2019. So, some places are best visited early; otherwise, the experience won't be the same as it was back then.
The Leshan Giant Buddha is truly awe-inspiring, a testament to the wisdom of the ancients. The scenic area is vast, with towering trees, abundant flowers, and ancient temples. Overlooking the confluence of three rivers, the waters flow swiftly. The Giant Buddha scenic area is definitely worth seeing; Sichuan truly deserves its reputation as a major tourist province, boasting numerous unique natural and cultural landscapes.

Qingcheng Mountain has beautiful scenery. On a sunny day, the sun shines brightly, and the scenery is stunning. You can take the cable car up and walk down. I'd love to go again sometime, though it's a bit tiring on the legs. It's important to exercise more and get out more often. The air in Qingcheng Mountain is truly excellent; I highly recommend a visit.
This is the second time this old 5A scenic area has reopened. From the high-speed rail station, you can take a sightseeing bus for 20 yuan to the scenic area gate, climb a short mountain path to Yuecheng Lake, take the cable car up the mountain, which saves a lot of energy. Then, you can climb to Laojun Pavilion, take photos, and then go down the mountain to Tianshi Cave. Finally, you can take an electric car back to the high-speed rail station. It's very convenient and I highly recommend visiting it.

Taking children to Huanglong is half healing and half a challenge. The healing comes from the light in their eyes when they first see the Five-Colored Pool, walking on the soft boardwalk watching the water change colors, listening to their excited chatter about their new discoveries – the parent-child time is filled with beauty. The challenge comes from the discomfort of the high altitude and the agonizing wait in line for the park's sightseeing bus. But putting these minor hiccups aside, being able to experience the gentleness and grandeur of the high-altitude wetlands together with your child is the most precious reward of this trip.
Huanglong Scenic Area is highly recommended overall, as it boasts abundant travertine formations. It's suggested to take the shuttle bus from Parking Lot 2, then the cable car uphill, and subsequently walk or take another shuttle bus to the Five-Colored Pools. Finally, walk out from the main entrance. This allows for a loop without backtracking.
