This trip was with elderly relatives and the whole family. Our guide, Mr. Zhu, a top student from Beijing, planned the itinerary very well, at a comfortable pace, so we didn't feel tired at all after a day of sightseeing. He also explained a lot of things we don't usually hear about. 😃 Thank you!
Visiting the Forbidden City on a rainy day was a little disappointing, but the guide, Chen Gege, as described by Xiucai, completely cured my disappointment! She was enthusiastic throughout, unaffected by the weather, and her explanations were both professional and engaging. She brought the historical anecdotes and architectural details of the Forbidden City to life in a clear and interesting way, packed with valuable information. Following her, even the red walls and yellow tiles seemed to take on a new charm in the rain. A fantastic experience, highly recommended!

The Badaling Great Wall is magnificent and imposing, with its walls resembling a giant dragon winding along the mountain ridge, dotted with watchtowers and exuding a grand and majestic aura. Although the climb is somewhat strenuous, the panoramic view from the summit inspires a sense of national pride, truly living up to the saying, "He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true man."
Standing on the beacon tower of the Badaling Great Wall, gazing into the distance against the mountain wind, you'll understand why the saying goes, "He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true hero"— This is not just a poem, but a genuine resonance felt by every climber upon reaching it. **The awe begins at first sight.** As the winding dragon rushes along the mountain ridge and disappears into the depths of the clouds, the visual impact is indescribable. The Badaling Great Wall perfectly embodies the wisdom of "using natural defenses to create a fortified position"—it doesn't mechanically extend, but follows the contours of the mountains, sometimes clinging to the ridge, sometimes soaring over sheer cliffs. The watchtowers are densely packed, the crenellations impeccably constructed, and even in sections that have been repaired, the wall retains its rugged strength. **Climbing is a two-way journey with history.** Touching the mottled bricks, the deep and shallow engravings are the diary of time. The steps beneath your feet are smoothed by countless footsteps, some slopes so steep that you need to hold onto the railings. This in itself is a metaphor—**climbing the Great Wall is never an easy journey, but every step of the effort will be rewarded upon reaching the summit.** When you stand breathless in the watchtower, imagining the soldiers who stood guard here eight hundred years ago, watching the same mountains change with the seasons, a profound sense of history washes over you. **Beautiful in Every Season, Each with Its Own Charm** **Spring:** Wildflowers bloom in profusion, making the Great Wall appear both strong and gentle amidst the sea of flowers. **Summer:** Surrounded by lush greenery, the watchtowers offer a cool breeze, like natural air conditioning. **Autumn:** Forests are ablaze with color, making the Great Wall appear like a golden dragon weaving across a colorful canvas. **Winter:** Covered in silver, the Great Wall transforms into a picturesque ink painting. **Traveler's Advice:** • Wear comfortable, non-slip shoes; this is the most basic respect for the Great Wall. • Don't be fixated on the highest point; each watchtower offers a unique view. • Early mornings have the fewest tourists, allowing for the clearest photos; evening light is the gentlest, perfect for quiet contemplation. Of course, this place is bustling with tourists year-round. But miraculously, **if you stand still for a moment at any of the battlements, watching the Great Wall stretch endlessly into the mountains, the hustle and bustle of the world naturally fades away**—at that moment, you are not touching stones, but time itself; you are not climbing steps, but the backbone of a nation. Badaling may not be the most "wild" section of the Great Wall, but it is undoubtedly one of the sections that best showcases its grandeur. Like a generous teacher, it tells you in the most direct way: **why this unassuming brick and stone structure can become the most resilient symbol of an ancient civilization.** This is not just a tour, but a dialogue with a thousand years of history. When you turn to leave, you take away not only photos, but also a strength of perseverance and protection ingrained in your very being.

Mount Tai is rich in culture, majestic and magnificent, and steeped in history. Climbing Mount Tai is a thrilling and exhilarating experience. Standing atop Mount Tai, one feels ambitious and has a global perspective, taking in the magnificent landscape of the motherland.
With over 6,000 steps, I'm a frequent hiker, so it wasn't too daunting. The ascent took 3.5 hours, and the descent, a night run, took 1.5 hours. The view from the summit is truly unique.

Autumn at Baotu Spring is breathtaking, with vibrant colors and perfect for taking photos. The spring water is crystal clear with a large flow, and fish swim happily in it. Attractions like Wanzhu Garden and the Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall are well worth exploring. However, it gets quite crowded on weekends, so visiting on a weekday will be much more pleasant.
The scenery at Baotu Spring is spectacular. This year, due to abundant rainfall, the water level at Baotu Spring is said to be the highest in 60 years, which is truly magnificent. Spring water is even seeping out from the cracks in some of the stone slabs along the road.

Marked as a World Heritage Site, Temple of Heaven is absolutely worth a visit! The largest building (Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests) is visible miles away if you are walking towards it (making it convenient - can close out of Baidu maps and just keep walking which is what we did haha!) We purchased tickets upon arrival, easy process. There were many people taking photographs but you can get good shots if you tilt your camera up or get lucky with timing. The park itself is beautiful and serene, making it a great place to relax and enjoy for 1-2 hours.
This activity is perfect for tourists who come on a last-minute trip and haven't made any reservations in advance. The tour guide's explanations were very engaging and the content was rich. It's a pity the time was a bit short, which felt like it limited their time to fully enjoy themselves. 😁

One of the most beautiful places to visit. The architecture and the environment has been quite well preserved even after the damaged that was done by the colonialist. The lake is beautiful.
The lake in the Summer Palace remains crystal clear year-round. Even in winter, the unfrozen sections display a deep, jewel-like blue, creating a striking contrast in color and texture with the glistening ice or patches of snow, further emphasizing the lake's transparency. The air is crisp and clear in winter, with high visibility. The Fragrant Buddha Pavilion complex on Longevity Hill and its stable, clear reflection in the water are clearly visible, directly attesting to the lake's calm and clarity. The complete reflection of the Seventeen-Arch Bridge on the open lake surface further illustrates this point. With its unique "under-ice perspective," it not only showcases the transparent texture of the ice but also reveals a flock of ducks active at the boundary between ice and water. Their swimming movements are clearly visible, convincingly demonstrating the lake's purity and adding vibrant life to the tranquil winter landscape. In winter, the Summer Palace is bathed in the light of autumn leaves, the mountains turn a deep blue-green, and the sky is a pristine azure. This pristine blue "canvas" makes the waters of Kunming Lake appear exceptionally pure and prominent, like a giant sapphire embedded in the royal gardens. In winter, Kunming Lake sheds the hustle and bustle of summer, its crystal-clear waters and unique interplay of ice and water creating a breathtaking panorama with blue skies, distant mountains, and ancient architecture. This perfectly showcases the tranquility, solemnity, and grandeur of the royal gardens in winter.

highly recommend this Great Wall excursion. The trip was smooth and relaxing from start to finish. Our tour guide was fantastic—very energetic and gave clear instructions. She provided great historical context and knew all the best spots for the best experience, making the tour both comfortable and efficient. I also appreciated that there was no pressure to buy any add-on services.A nice bonus was the drop-off at the Olympic Park, which gave us some extra time to explore.
It was too difficult to climb; we only climbed a little bit and stayed for about an hour. The most fun part was the toboggan run, and the scenery was indeed beautiful and spectacular. We went by chartered car, and the experience was pretty good.

The scenery is nice and the bus is very convenient, good reviews! But the consumption level in the scenic area is a bit high, especially in some farmhouse restaurants, where two people can eat more than 100 yuan, while other places in the mountains only cost dozens of yuan.
The tour is very nice and I visited many temple which is very peaceful. The guide is also polite and helpful.
