[Scenery] The scenery here is very beautiful, with clear blue skies and a few white clouds floating in the azure sky. The azure blue lake reflects the willow trees on the shore, which is refreshing.
Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra is a man-made lake. There are many famous local universities, libraries and art galleries on the lakeside. It is quite romantic. Many people will sit here and fish in the evening.

Cotter Dam in Canberra is a very interesting place to visit. The waterfall of the dam looks more majestic than many natural ones. There are two hiking trails in the dam. One is shorter and you can walk to a lookout to see the dam below. This route has more trees and is very relaxing. There is also a stream. It is called the discovery trail. The other route is five kilometers round trip. There is a small hill. The scenery along the way is good. If it is a sunny day, it will be a bit sunny. You can walk to the top of the mountain to see the dam. It is called the Honyong Walking Track. Of course, it is not a problem to walk both routes. It is not particularly tiring. In addition to the dam itself, there are many small tables for picnics and barbecue grills at the parking lot. There are also facilities for children to play here. There is also a stream next to it. I saw someone fishing. It is very suitable for a family weekend trip.
It is relatively close to Canberra. This year, the lake and the sea are connected. The water is relatively shallow at the connection point, which is very suitable for bringing children to play in the water. There is also a small island next to it, which is also well-known in our Chinese fishing group. In addition to our Canberra fishing friends, there are often friends from Sydney. The snorkeling around is also very good, and there are many small fish schools, just like being in an aquarium. When I sit on the beach, I occasionally observe what people are doing next week? Thinking about what is the charm of the beach that makes people always think of it when mentioning the word "vacation"? So there is this set of photos. I found that everyone would find their own fun, such as just sunbathing, children competing in swimming, playing surfboards, taking pictures of the beautiful scenery of the seaside, or sitting quietly and looking into the distance, etc.

The National Museum of Australia, near this museum stands an art gallery and some museums. I feel that if you come here, you can combine several nearby attractions into a day trip. Personally, I feel that this museum has a very good sense of design and is not so boring, because its design is very abstract and forward-looking.
The National Museum of Australia is a large national exhibition hall that houses a wide variety of artifacts related to Australia, geography, politics, environment, flora, fauna, and history. It is the best place to fully understand Australia as a country. This museum is a must-see attraction in Canberra and should not be missed.

I went there for the Last Post Ceremony (it's free but you still have to book tickets online) and it was quite interesting. The ticket to the ceremony doesn't grant you access to the other parts of the museum but if you have enough time and are interested in Australia's war and conflict history it looked well displayed. The War Memorial is also a great starting point for a hike up to the Mount Ainslie Lookout with a beautiful view over Canberra - especially great during sunset.
It's a really beautiful building. You must go inside the building above. It's very beautiful, but when you look at the paintings inside, you still feel sad because of the war.

Canberra's Chinatown doesn't have a memorial archway like the ones in Melbourne and Sydney. It's just a street full of Chinese restaurants. It's not very long. There are many restaurants of various flavors from the north to the south to the northwest of China. There are also several supermarkets, and there are a few scattered Indian and Thai restaurants. There are parking spaces on both sides, but it seems that parking spaces are quite tight.
Strictly speaking, this place cannot be called Chinatown at all. It is too small. It is estimated that it takes only 5 minutes to walk through the whole street. There are small Chinese supermarkets where you can buy some Chinese seasonings and other Chinese products. There are also some small restaurants, which are not big in scale. In short, I don’t recommend coming to this Chinatown. There is nothing special about it. I personally feel that the Chinatowns in Sydney and Melbourne are quite large, and the Chinatown in Adelaide is also decent. There are several Chinese supermarkets and even more Chinese restaurants. I don’t recommend going to Canberra’s Chinatown.
