Yulong Snow Mountain, which is the backbone of Lijiang Earth, is a dreamland that is left on earth. Thirteen snow peaks are endless, like dragons leaping and dancing, shining with holy light. The snow on the top of the mountain is as magnificent as a silver pyramid under the sun throughout the year. The blue moon valley's lake is blue like a gem, and the snow-capped mountains are reflected. Not only is there a magnificent natural landscape, but also carries the culture and beliefs of the Naxi people for thousands of years, which is fascinating, as if in a fairy tale world.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is breathtakingly beautiful! The peaks gleam silver in the sunlight, and the water in Blue Moon Valley is as translucent as emerald green. No filters are needed for photos. Honestly, during peak season, the lines for the cable car can be incredibly crowded, and renting oxygen tanks and down jackets is also quite expensive. The winds at the summit are so strong they can blow you away, so if you're experiencing altitude sickness, remember to take your medication beforehand! Avoid holidays, dress warmly, and bring plenty of food. While it may seem a bit commercialized, the sheer awe of the snow-capped mountains is truly worth the trip.

The Tiger Leaping Gorge is relatively easy to park in. You can drive directly to the ticket office and then park in the dedicated parking lot to explore the entire area. It is recommended to bring one or two layers of clothing as the wind is quite strong. The area is not very large, so the hike doesn't take long. There is only one road to the core viewing area of Tiger Leaping Gorge, which takes about half an hour, but it is still quite photogenic.
Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the world's ten most iconic hiking routes, offering breathtaking scenery year-round. Spring: April–June: The river's initial rise creates an emerald green, with a moderate flow rate, creating a breathtaking view without being turbid. Mountain flowers bloom, and the canyon's banks are covered in vibrant greenery, dotted with wildflowers, creating a vibrant and vibrant atmosphere. The mild climate makes it ideal for hiking and photography, especially for first-time visitors. Autumn: September–October (extending into early November) offers crisp, clear skies and excellent visibility, with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain clearly visible. The vibrant colors of the forest, a vibrant interweaving of red, yellow, and green, create a rich tapestry of light and shadow, making it a prime photography season. Summer: July–August: The river's peak flow creates a breathtaking spectacle, but frequent rains make hiking more risky, making it best to spend a short time at the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge Observation Deck. Winter: December–February: Visitors are sparse, and the canyon offers a tranquil and tranquil atmosphere. However, some sections of the trail may be closed, making it a suitable season for adventurers who can handle the cold. Tiger Leaping Gorge is renowned not only for its scenic beauty but also for its thriving hiking culture. Before 2020, 95% of hikers on this route were foreigners, welcoming backpackers from hundreds of countries and featured in international magazines such as the BBC and Lonely Planet. The Halfway's popularity stems not only from its popular "Stunning Balcony" but also from its former "World's No. 1 Toilet," as well as early examples of outdoor culture, such as "genuine donkey hide books," "donkey paw stamps" made from melted cans, and "mobile phone katydid cages" used for signal collection. Over the past 30 years, a rich Chinese hiking culture has been cultivated. Tiger Leaping Gorge hiking is suitable for everyone. You can enjoy a commando-style hike, completing both the upper and middle sections in a single day. Alternatively, you can split the hike into two days, or choose to hike only the upper or middle sections, depending on your ability. Experience the beauty of Tiger Leaping Gorge on foot!

Those who don't want to walk should definitely buy a ticket for the Xilongtan cable car, which takes them directly to an altitude of 3,900 meters. Cangshan is a palette of colors overturned by the Creator, and at an altitude of nearly 4,000 meters, it still hides miracles of life. The mist flows like a flowing yarn, drifting over the fir forest, and dewdrops on the pine needles reflect fragments of light. The wind blows through the azalea bushes, bringing with it bursts of floral fragrance, and the colorful azaleas bloom vibrantly in the cracks of the rocks. If you have good legs, go for it!
Cangshan Mountain is absolutely worth a visit! As one of Dali's four scenic spots, "Wind, Flowers, Snow, and Moon," it's not only a perfect blend of nature and culture, but also a treasure of the World Geopark. 🌟 Five Must-Experience Highlights of Cangshan Mountain 1. The "Cangshan Snow" spectacle: The summit is covered in snow year-round, resembling a silver dragon in the sunlight. The stunning "mountain snow reflecting the sea" against Erhai Lake creates a picture-perfect Dali postcard. The snow is at its peak in winter, but you can still see remnants of snow at Ximatan Lake in summer. 2. Three Cableways, Three Views - Ximatan Cableway: The only cableway that reaches the summit (3,966 meters above sea level), offering breathtaking views of the alpine lake and glacial remains. On clear days, the experience is truly breathtaking. - Gantong Cableway: Connecting scenic spots like Qingbi Creek and Zhenlong Chess Game, the terminal is near Jizhao Nunnery, known as "China's Most Beautiful Nunnery" (the succulent garden and 20 element vegetarian dishes are a great value). - Zhonghe Cableway: An open-air cable car, perfect for thrill-seekers, offering panoramic views of Erhai Lake along the way. 3. Jade Belt Cloud Route: A gentle 11.5-kilometer hike at 2,600 meters above sea level, traversing the misty slopes of Cangshan Mountain. Along the way, visitors can admire the Seven Dragon Maiden Pool, waterfalls, and primeval forests. It's perfect for light hikers. 4. Shimenguan: A treacherous and unique cliff plank road with a glass observation deck, overlooking a 100-meter abyss, offers a historical experience along the Ancient Tea Horse Road. It's perfect for adventurous travelers. 5. Immerse yourself in Bai culture at the foot of the mountain: Gantong Temple, the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, and other historical sites blend Buddhism and Bai customs. Don't miss the Three-Course Tea performance at the cable car station. ⚠️ Notes - Weather Sensitive: The Ximatan Cableway is often temporarily closed due to strong winds. It's recommended to prioritize your summit ascent in the morning. - Altitude Sickness Prevention: The summit is nearly 4,000 meters above sea level, so slow down and bring oxygen tanks (available at the scenic area). - Clothing Guide: A jacket is necessary even in summer, and a down jacket is recommended for the summit (rentals available at the foot of the mountain). - Save on Tickets: A combined ticket (including the cable car) is more cost-effective than purchasing them individually, and there are many discounts when purchasing online in advance. 📅 Best Season Recommendations - Spring (March-May): Azaleas blanket the mountains, especially around Ximatan Lake. - Autumn (September-November): Sunny days are common, with a high probability of seas of clouds, making it the best time for hiking. Summary: Cangshan is suitable for those who enjoy nature, photography, and light hiking. For a family trip, consider the Gantong Cable Car and Jizhao Temple combo. If time is limited, consider the Ximatan Cable Car and Yudai Road half-day tour, which is perfect paired with a bike ride around Erhai Lake!

During the last half day of my trip to Dali, I chose the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple after much deliberation. It is really worth a visit and lives up to its status as a 5A scenic spot. It is free for college entrance examination candidates. You can buy a round-trip electric car and have a tour guide to take you around. It is relaxing and gives you a deeper understanding of the scenic spot.
The Chongsheng Three Pagodas are probably the earliest national cultural relics protection sites in Dali. The three pagodas represent Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. Numerous cultural relics from the Nanzhao Kingdom and the Dali Kingdom have been unearthed, providing a wealth of evidence for the study of Buddhist culture at that time.

It is worth going. Lijiang Eternal Love and Lijiang Love Song are both very nice. There are many other attractions in the scenic area, most of which are folk customs. Because I had to get up early the next day to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, I regretfully did not participate in the Torch Festival and bonfire dancing, nor did I have a toast banquet.
When I got to the inn, I heard the inn owner say that they could help me buy tickets and save dozens of yuan. I wanted to refund it and ask him to buy it later, but I didn't know that I couldn't refund it. I haven't seen such a large-scale performance, but I feel it's okay, especially the caravan part is a bit touching. There are many attractions and performances to watch, so it's best to enter early and play according to the time period. Unfortunately, we didn't know, so we didn't see many performances. The characteristics of the scenic spot are quite good, and the simulation space inside is very suitable for children to experience. However, the guidance is not clear enough, and the real-time performance is a bit different from the official account. .

The ancient town was absolutely stunning, from the entrance to Shuanghong Bridge, to the library, the museum, the cafes, the clear river, the vibrant flowers, the friendly vendors, the adorable dogs and cats—so many! We drank coffee and took so many beautiful photos, we were reluctant to leave, but it was dark, so we had to leave. Overall, the ancient town was truly breathtaking.
Honestly, it's definitely worth a visit. The ancient town is quite large, divided into two sections: the east and west. Built into the hillside, it offers stunning scenery. You can find a few coffee shops, and the art gallery on the third floor offers a great view. I highly recommend the Wild Duck Lake Scenic Area.

Today I went to a mountain road near the Three Pagodas Temple. There were few people and the scenery was beautiful. I should be able to shoot a popular video, but unfortunately I don't know how to shoot. I also saw a rainbow on the way back. I stayed in a small courtyard by the Erhai Lake. The terrace overlooked the Erhai Lake. The breeze was refreshing. I liked to sit on it and drink tea.
The lake of the Bohai Sea is wide and quiet, often shrouded in mist in the morning, like a light colored ink. The boat was rowing out, and the lake was full of ripples, reflecting the distant mountains and white towers, and the picture was extremely soft. The path by the lake is the rice fields and ancient villages, and you can feel the strong atmosphere of life when you walk. In the evening, the sunset falls on the lake, the sky is the same color, the sunset is shining. The most touching thing is the "slow beauty": no need to deliberately, time is here quietly flowing.

Lijiang Old Town, also known as Dayan Old Town, gets its name from its inkstone-like shape. It's China's only unwalled ancient town and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Its architecture blends the Naxi "three courtyards and one screen wall" style, the Han Chinese "quadrangle" (siheyuan) style, and the Tibetan style. The clear Yu River flows through the city, creating a Jiangnan-style atmosphere characterized by flowing water in every home and weeping willows in every house. It's recommended to enter the old town early in the morning to capture the deserted, winding bluestone streets and experience their tranquil beauty. At night, you can experience the bustling and bustling city. The old town is vast, and exploring every street and attraction will require at least two days.
I think Lijiang Old Town is quite commercialized. The entire area is quite large, and there are many places to visit, but walking around it doesn't really make it any different from other commercial streets. Overall, I don't think there's much to do in Lijiang Old Town. If you're looking to experience some ethnic minority culture, then it's worth a visit.

The ancient city of Dali is beautiful and beautiful. The heritage of the ancient city of the millennium: Tang Jianming City still exists, strolling on Qingshiban Street, visiting the ancient walls of the city building, soaking the legacy of Nanxun. Cangwu scenery picture: leaning on Cangshan Mountain, Linyi Sea, riding to watch the sunrise, taking the ropeway to enjoy the wind, flowers and snow. Must visit cultural landmarks: Chongsheng Temple three towers are squash, foreigner street to find milk fans, sour soup fish, feel the tip of the tongue Yunnan. Fresh folk experience: March Street to catch a rally, Bai song and dance, tie-dye silverware, immerse in the national customs. Best B&B for rest: Recommended to stay at the "Dingdaryu Lu Villa B&B" next to the ancient city! Modern design, five-star service, walking distance to the core area, intimate service to accompany you leisurely vacation.
During the day, the ancient city of Dali is plain and beautiful, like a girl without makeup; at night, the ancient city of Dali is bright and dazzling, like a beautiful young woman. It is recommended to arrive in the afternoon and leave at night, so that you can enjoy the daytime and nighttime views of the ancient city at the same time. There are delicious foods everywhere in the ancient city, so you don’t have to worry about food and drink. There are also many famous Yunnan specialty stores where you can buy souvenirs.

The forest park in Pu'er, Xishuangbanna, finally chose Sun River. I was lucky enough to see red pandas up close. They were so cute! The animals were all very nice and the children had a lot of fun. Don't miss it if you bring children with you.
It was great! The kids had a blast interacting with all the animals. The staff were also very kind. They gave visitors free raincoats on rainy days, and even parked the electric carts at the entrance to the tourist area, perfect for shelter. Buying tickets through Ctrip was very convenient.
