Thousands of years of college, inherited so far, once again to visit, can still feel the rigorousness of ancient people's schooling, study and study hard, compared with the present, what reason is not to cherish such a beautiful environment, endless learning, tireless, diligent thinking, benefit a lot
Yuelu Academy, located at the foot of the east side of Yuelu Mountain in Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province (near the south gate of Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area), is one of the "Four Great Academies" in ancient China. It is also a very iconic cultural attraction in Changsha and a typical representative of Hunan culture. A mountain road, a lecture hall, and a river of books. Looking back from the head of Orange Island in Changsha, the verdant Yuelu is like the plain paper spread by the ancients. The wind blows from the Xiangjiang River, rolling the sound of Xiaoxiang books into the academy with swaying tree shadows. Yuelu Academy, this thousand-year-old institution of learning, seems to be that seal, gently stamped on the cultural context of the mountains and rivers of Hunan, and it is the place of peace of mind for Chinese scholars.

Changsha Huayi Brothers Film Town has its own unique narrative style among many cultural and tourism towns across the country. This is not only a real-life film location, but also a place of life aesthetics that deeply integrates "film IP" and "international culture". Among them, the "Italian Town Block" inspired by the movie "Fated" is particularly eye-catching. The film itself tells a love story across China and Italy, and in the construction of the town, Changsha has truly "built" this screen love into a real space that can be visited, lived in, and experienced. When people come here, they can encounter street musicians on the steps of the "Assisi"-style mountain city, or sit on a gondola in the "Venice"-like water lanes and listen to the boatman's low singing; they can walk into a century-old Italian leather goods store and smell the blend of leather and time, or drink a cup of authentic Espresso in a traditional Italian coffee shop and chat with strangers about poetry and the distance.
So happy to visit there. I visited during low season and was quiet. Feels like visiting Venice.

Changsha Underwater World is located at No. 501, Sanyi Avenue, Kaifu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a large marine science education museum in Hunan. Changsha Underwater World covers a total area of 100 acres, integrating viewing and leisure. The tour area is divided into five functional areas: Oceanarium, Polar Museum, Science and Education Museum, Children's Park, and Water Park. There are more than a thousand species and tens of thousands of precious marine creatures and freshwater fish from all over the world in the museum, as well as regular performances of seals and divers feeding fish. In the park, you can enjoy the beautiful and romantic performance of human-shark dance, mermaid performance, Russian underwater ballet performance, shocking and fun white whale spitting circles, dolphin jumping, walrus blowing piano, sea lion concert and more than ten sets of marine characteristic performances.
It was very hot on the way there, so I took the bus. When I got there, I had a meal. It was a little expensive, so it was better to eat before going in. It was comfortable inside. The crowds were okay, and the dolphin show was worth seeing. There was nothing special about the rest. Overall it was okay.

I bought a night show ticket and went in at 5pm. There were many empty parking spaces in the parking lot and not many people in the venue. Some projects were not open, and some projects (such as go-karts) required additional fees. There was no need to queue for roller coasters, Nuwa patching the sky, bumper cars, etc. There was a waterwheel parade at 6pm, and a water splashing festival performance at 8pm in the summer, which was very good.
Overall it started off well. If you bring your kids, you can play all day. There are many free children's rides. In addition, there are many interpretations of Chinese myths. For example, Cowherd and Weaver Girl is a 4D movie where you can watch it while lying down. Take Me Fly is a Tamron 3D movie. I think there are still many types, and some clever ideas have been put into it. Just pay special attention to the walking process, because it is really tiring. Many performances overlap. You have to make choices, and walking back and forth is really tiring. It is also very annoying to have to wait when there are too many people.

For those seeking a less crowded and more relaxed zoo experience in China, the Changsha Ecological Zoo is an excellent choice. Its large, open grounds provide a comfortable environment for a day of family fun and animal encounters. One of the standout features is the safari bus, which offers a fantastic way to see many of the animals in a spacious, naturalistic setting. It’s a highlight that allows you to cover a lot of ground comfortably. We were also delighted to see two giant pandas, which were a definite treat. The zoo offers more than just viewing; the interactive experiences are highly engaging. We attended a memorable bird show where parrots danced, and one clever bird even performed simple math problems, amazing both children and adults. There are also several feeding events throughout the day. My daughter had a wonderful time feeding carrots to a llama, and we saw other opportunities to feed animals like elephants, though we didn't partake in that one. These interactive moments make the visit particularly special for kids. For visitors who might find the large park challenging to walk, the zoo thoughtfully offers small electric carts for rent. This is a great option for families with young children or elderly members, ensuring everyone can enjoy the park without getting too tired.Overall, the Changsha Ecological Zoo provides a wonderful, spacious, and interactive day out, free from the overwhelming crowds of zoos in other major cities.
1. Parent-child friendly It is perfect to bring your kids here! The park is very user-friendly, with a special children's play area and popular science explanations. The children not only saw many cute animals such as tigers and elephants, but also fed giraffes and touched lambs in the interactive area, which made them very excited. There are abundant dining options in the park, and the prices are reasonable. The staff are enthusiastic and patiently answer the children's various "hundred thousand whys". It is definitely a treasure trove for parent-child travel! 2. Immersive experience This is the first time I have seen such a "heartfelt" zoo! The exhibition area is designed very carefully to simulate the original environment of the animals. Rhinos roll in the mud and monkeys jump between vines, which is particularly immersive. There is also a nocturnal animal pavilion, with dim lights and realistic sound effects, as if you are really in the jungle. The park's guide APP can locate the animal's position in real time, and you can also listen to professional explanations, which is a full experience! 3. Cost-effective and facilities The ticket price is very affordable. I didn't expect the park to be so large and full of animals! There are panda pavilions, aquariums, and bird areas. In the wild animal area, you can take a sightseeing bus to observe lions and brown bears up close. There are plenty of charging stations and rest benches in the park, the toilets are clean and odorless, and even the mother and baby room is fully equipped. You won't feel tired after a whole day of sightseeing. Highly recommended!

Great location that is for free. You get to see this and other museums that are located in different rooms and most are free of charge. A must visit while you are in Changsha!

Immersive theater, great script, great performance, great format, I like it very much. I almost cried. We were students in our prime. We were full of vigor and ambition. We pointed out the mountains and rivers, wrote inspiring words, and regarded the nobles as dirt. Do you remember that we were in the middle of the river, and the waves stopped the flying boat? I would like to be a friend of the twenty-eight scholars, and I also hope that this prosperous era will be as you wish!
If you travel through the star city of Changsha and visit the high-frequency check-in point Orange Island with great interest, and can't help but recite the famous line "Just like schoolmates, young and vigorous; scholars are full of vigor and ambition", then the first red multi-dimensional immersive cultural tourism youth theater "Just like schoolmates, young and vigorous" in China should not be missed. Light and shadow interweave, historical sites unfold. Different from the traditional silent viewing, tourists can spend 1 hour to walk into a hundred years ago, incarnate as a student of Hunan Provincial No. 1 Normal School, and become "classmates" with revolutionary youths such as Mao Zedong and Cai Hesen. In different time and space with flowing light, they can personally participate in witnessing their study and growth trajectory and appreciate the red spirit.

From June to October this year, Changsha Museum opened a new exhibition on the second floor, with the theme of "The Endless Yangtze River Rolling in" - a special exhibition of the Yangtze River and Chinese civilization. Sanxingdui, Liangzhu, Hemudu... bring together several major regional cultures in the Yangtze River Basin, showing the historical and cultural features from ancient times to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
The Changsha Museum is about 1 km away from the subway station. It has a large venue and rich collections. On June 29, 2025, there will be special exhibitions of "Endless Yangtze River Rolling--Yangtze River and Chinese Civilization Exhibition" and "Yelang Relics--Searching for the Ancient Country in "Historical Records"". Here, I saw treasures from museums along the Yangtze River, including bronze masks of Sanxingdui civilization. It can be said that the environment and collections of Changsha Museum are relatively good among provincial capital museums across the country.
