Personally, I think it's well worth the trip. The shallow strait allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience a sense of harmony between humanity and nature. Head to the mountains and the sea; if the weather is good, take photos to preserve the beautiful memories. If not, don't worry, because there's much to savor. The towering European-style buildings tell tales of the past, stirring the heart. Wandering through the alleys, countless bougainvillea blooms at the corners seem to breathe new life into the deep courtyards, constantly reminding people to remember history and move forward. Let the sea breeze blow away the gloom in your heart, let the gentle waves awaken the surging emotions within. From the natural landscape to the old objects displayed in various museums, from the sounds of nature to the melodious piano music, it makes you feel that life is worthwhile. Memory is the evidence of existence, and existence makes memory endure…
Gulangyu Island, an island brimming with artistic charm, is like a dazzling pearl embedded in the beautiful city of Xiamen. Strolling through its winding alleys, every step feels like stepping into a river of history. The blend of Chinese and Western architecture tells tales of its past prosperity and stories. Every scene on the island is like a meticulously crafted painting, from the old villas nestled among green trees to the waves crashing against the rocks, all captivating the viewer. Gulangyu's musical atmosphere is also unforgettable. Walking through the streets and alleys, you can often hear the melodious sound of pianos. This island is known as the "Piano Island," as many families own exquisite pianos. Here, music is not just an art form, but a way of life. Furthermore, the island's cuisine is a major highlight. Various authentic snacks, such as satay noodles, oyster omelets, and sea worm jelly, offer an ultimate tantalizing experience for the taste buds. The unique shops hidden deep in the alleys are even more delightful surprises, offering everything from handicrafts to specialty coffee, allowing visitors to experience the unique charm of Gulangyu. In short, Gulangyu is a place worth visiting again and again. Its beauty lies not only in its natural scenery but also in its unique cultural atmosphere and humanistic spirit. Every time you set foot on this land, it brings new surprises and emotions.

The botanical garden is very large, and the entire mountain is divided into different areas. The tropical rainforest landscape is quite distinctive, and there are various flowers and bougainvilleas of various colors. The tour bus is also very convenient. In short, it is worth a visit!
Xiamen Botanical Garden is a must-see destination in Xiamen! The rainforest and succulent areas are especially not to be missed! It's a bit strenuous, so if you're pressed for time, you can take the scenic bus. However, we opted for a leisurely walk, enjoying the natural oxygen bar and feeling incredibly refreshed.

I'll always support the world's best Zhonggu Cableway! Half mountain view, half sea view. A round trip for 80 RMB takes about 40 minutes, allowing you to fully enjoy the most beautiful scenery of Xiamen Island! This is my 10086th time riding the Zhonggu Cableway.
Amazing views, great experience. Please note that if there's an odd number of passengers, the single person will be required to pay an additional 80 yuan for the charter fee.

It's not peak season in Wuyishan now, so there aren't many people at the various scenic spots. Aside from taking a bamboo raft, which is quite crowded, sitting and watching the Nine Bends is comfortable, the scenery is pleasant, and it's not too hot. The air is filled with the fragrance of osmanthus blossoms, and some tea trees have even started to bloom. Strolling along the paths is a truly relaxing experience.
Wuyi Mountain is definitely worth a visit. The air is fresh and the environment is good. Walking in the mountains will make you feel relaxed and refreshed. It does require a certain amount of physical strength, otherwise you might not be able to walk any further.

We went in early August during summer vacation. It was quite crowded, so the line was understandably long. However, some travelers were smoking and shirtless while waiting in line, which really ruined the experience. If you see this review, I hope it will be improved.
Want another review? Haha. I have to climb it once a year. Mountains, meadows, sea of clouds, there's no better place. We usually go down the mountain after watching the sunset, so we don't have time to take the cable car. What mountain climbing doesn't hurt your legs? If you don't hurt your legs, you're not a special forces soldier. Just do it.

Stepping into Yunshuiyao is like entering a slow-motion ancient painting. The thousand-year-old banyan tree, with its lush foliage and drooping aerial roots swaying gently in the stream breeze, and the ancient cobblestone path, polished smooth by time, is the very location featured in the film "Yunshuiyao." The Hegui Building, perched atop the marshland, is a marvel. Climbing it, the earthen building appears to float above the wetlands. The carved doors and windows of Huaiyuan Building hold the secrets of Hakka culture; the morning light filtering through the courtyard creates a serene beauty. Walking along the stream, you'll see the old waterwheel turning gently. Enjoy a taro bun in the afternoon, and watch the lanterns along the stream light up one by one in the evening. Avoiding the crowds, listen to the elderly residents of the earthen buildings humming folk songs; time seems to stretch out, filled with the poetry and everyday life of this ancient village.
The last attraction on the National Day itinerary wasn't crowded. Yunshuiyao and Tulou are connected, so they're considered the same scenic spot. Why is it called Yunshuiyao? I couldn't figure it out, but later I learned that Chen Kun filmed a movie there, so they named it Yunshuiyao. The scenery is incredibly beautiful, with dozens of ancient banyan trees dating back hundreds of years... and several round Tulou buildings, all unique to Fujian. It's best to hire a guide to explore the area, so you can get a better understanding of the culture and history.

Hulishan Fort, located on Hulishan Mountain in the southern part of Xiamen Island in Fujian Province, my country, is a historic military facility. Built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, it served as a crucial component of China's modern coastal defense. Numerous ancient artillery pieces are on display here, each bearing a rich historical story and bearing witness to Xiamen Island's turbulent history.
The ticket price is 25 yuan per person, which is very cost-effective. I arrived around 10 o'clock in the morning just in time to watch the show. After watching the show, I walked around. The scenic area is very clean and comfortable, and there is a different world inside.

The mountain is very high and takes a long time to climb, about four hours to go up and down. The scenery is very nice and the atmosphere is not too commercial. Laojun Rock is worth seeing. However, the service is not very good. The ticket inspectors speak Mandarin poorly and it is difficult to understand. The spring water on the mountain is a bit expensive at 7 yuan. Although it is not as good as the famous mountains and rivers, it also has its own regional characteristics. The facilities on the mountain need to be further improved, and the safety needs to be further improved!
During the National Day holiday, I came to Quanzhou for a tour. My first choice was Qingyuan Mountain, which is lush with trees and full of greenery. I visited the stupa of Master Hongyi and was moved by his spirit of saving all living beings and his patriotism. The statue of Laozi was lifelike and vivid. It was worth the trip!

My child was so excited about the whale specimen, and was immediately overwhelmed by its sheer size. He cried... a true example of "Lord Ye's love of dragons" (a Chinese idiom meaning someone who professes to love something but is actually afraid of it)... hahaha. The guide was incredibly gentle and patient, and I thoroughly enjoyed the explanations! A million thumbs up!
This science and technology museum uses a "visible and tangible" approach to make dry scientific knowledge lively and engaging. Whether it's the basic science exhibition area for teenagers or the cutting-edge technology exhibition for adults, both areas offer tailored teaching methods. The exhibition areas feature concise and clear explanations, along with animated demonstrations and interactive experiments, making even complex physical laws easily accessible. More than just an exhibition space, it serves as a bridge connecting the public and science, making it a perfect base for popular science education.
