[View] Ulan Butong is a three-dimensional landscape blending grassland and forest, with elegant and beautiful Yin and soft in the south, masculine masculinity in the north, colorful feasts in the four seasons, humanistic and natural symphony of lakes and wetlands, and characteristics of biological diversity and multiple experiences.
The tourist highlights of Wulanbutong Grassland are rich and varied, covering natural landscapes, cultural history, special activities and food. The following is a detailed introduction: Natural Landscape - Vast grassland and diverse landforms: Wulanbutong Grassland is located in the Inner Mongolia Plateau, with an average altitude of 1,640 meters, and the grassland is vast. The eastern and central mountain ranges in the scenic area are continuous, and there are many sand dunes in the northwest. There are also wetlands, rivers, lakes, etc. For example, there are large areas of wetlands along the Wulan River and Jiangjun Paozi, with excellent vegetation and rich species.   - Colorful autumn colors of Wucai Mountain: From September to October every year, Wucai Mountain presents a colorful landscape due to its rich vegetation. The birch and poplar trees are yellow, the maple and oak trees turn red, the pines and cypresses are green all year round, and various shrubs are also of different colors, as if the palette has been overturned.  - European style scenery area: The rolling hills and grasslands are dotted with sparse or dense birch trees. The grassland and forest are perfectly integrated, and the scenery is charming, comparable to the European grassland scenery.   - Panlong Gorge: The Sarik River flows through the mountains and ridges in this valley. The steep banks are densely forested, and the valley bottom is covered with water and grass. The river is winding like a dragon for dozens of kilometers.   Humanities and History - Ancient battlefield site: This was the ancient battlefield where Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty personally fought against Galdan. There are ruins such as General Paozi, Twelve Camps, and Tong Guogang's Tomb. It is said that General Paozi was formed by the gushing out of groundwater after the Qing army's artillery scattered Galdan's camel formation.  - Film and TV shooting base: Wulanbutong is a famous film and TV location shooting site. More than 60 film and TV works such as "My Fair Princess", "Kangxi Dynasty" and "Emperor Wu of Han" were filmed here. There are many stone tablets of film and TV dramas in the scenic area, which has become a popular choice for tourists to check in. Special activities and food - Folk culture activities: Grassland Nadam is a traditional Mongolian festival, with horse racing, wrestling, archery and other competitive events. In addition, there are bonfire parties, Wulanbutong Night and other activities, where tourists can sing and dance with herdsmen and experience ethnic culture. - Grassland entertainment projects: You can experience horse riding, camel riding, sand motorcycles, sand sliding and other entertainment projects, galloping on the grassland, feeling the pleasure of the wind whistling in your ears, or take an off-road vehicle deep into the hinterland of the grassland to explore those little-known beauties. - Mongolian specialties: There are meat delicacies such as roasted lamb legs, beer-baked lamb, and air-dried beef, as well as special drinks such as kumis. Visitors can taste the authentic Mongolian flavor.

Due to the weather, the autumn scenery was somewhat less spectacular. However, the entertainment included a drone show and a free water dance show on the Great Wall. Guests could also experience a boat ride on the Great Wall at night. If time allowed, there were also various intangible cultural heritage handicraft experiences available. Overall, it was quite good.

During the National Day holiday on October 1st, there were many tourists, so we could only take a quick look at the scenery. Since the only way to tour the scenic area is by sightseeing bus, we had to skip some attractions to avoid queuing. Overall, it was still worth visiting, but it's best to avoid going during peak hours. We also took a helicopter tour of the seaside scenery within the scenic area, which was short but still worthwhile, as we saw some unique views.
I drove here specifically for this trip. It was so beautiful that I cried. I happened to catch the sunset. It was a bit late and I didn't have much fun, but seeing the sunset 🌄 made the trip worthwhile.

From desert to oasis change miracle. Saihanba: from desert to oasis miracle journey, witness nature. and human tenacity "do you know? The desert that once changed" has become today's green paradise, behind this, countless people adhere to and dream. When I first stepped on the land of Saihanba, this sentence was deeply engraved in my heart. Saihanba, located in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is a once desolate and barren desert area. Decades ago, there was almost no greenery here, and the wind and sand were raging. The living conditions are extremely bad. However, it is this desert that has become a miracle witness to China's ecological civilization construction. Today, Saihanba National Forest Park has become a national ecological reserve, known as the "green miracle". The wide forest coverage rate is more than 60%, and the air is fresh. The scenery is charming. Standing high overlooking the green sea, the dunes are covered in green, a vibrant scenery. I was deeply shocked by the natural beauty of this place for a few days in Saihanba. In the morning, the morning mist was lingering, and the sun was spilling on the wet land through the treetops. The air is filled with the fresh aroma of soil and pine needles. Walking along the forest path, you can occasionally see wildlife - squirrels and birds jumping happily on the branches. In addition to the natural scenery, the human story of Saihanba is also moving. Forest workers and researchers here, with countless sweat and wisdom, guard this green home. Their persistence and dedication are the driving force behind the continuous development of this oasis, Saihan Dam story tells us: even in the face of the desert, we can use tenacity and wisdom to create miracles. This is not only a victory for ecological protection, but also a model of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature. Every green leaf and every tree is a symbol of hope. I believe that everyone can contribute to our planet like the guardians of Saihanba. Whether it is saving water, reducing pollution, or participating in tree planting, every effort can gather into a power to change the world. A spiritual baptism, a sublimation of life, Saihanba becomes a tourist destination. If you are eager to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, look for a clean land, Saihanba is definitely your ideal place. Here, you can not only appreciate the magic of nature, but also feel the tenacity of human spirit. Let the miracle of Saihanba pass on forever, and become the infinite hope for a better future that inspires each of us. Come to Saihanba and start a journey of spiritual cleansing! There are not only shocking natural scenes. Views, but also inspiring stories waiting for you to discover. Green future, starting with every action. If you like this article, don't forget to like it and deliver this miracle! #Saihan Dam #Green Miracle #Ecoprotection #
It is a part of the royal hunting ground of the Qing Dynasty and Mulan Paddock. There are lakes, hills, grasslands, forests, and many kinds of plants and animals. The temperature is not high in summer. It is a summer resort and a 4A-level scenic spot.

There were few people here; apart from a few elementary school groups on autumn outings, there weren't many other individual tourists, and the scenery was expansive. The poorly designed shuttle bus system is a common problem in domestic scenic areas. The shuttle bus costs 10 yuan one way, takes about 3 minutes, and is marked as covering 1.5km. It drops you off at a shopping street, which is quite a distance from the ticket gate. After getting your ticket, it's a long walk to the foot of the Great Wall. There are direct buses from Dongzhimen Transportation Hub, arriving around 10 am and departing at 4 pm, giving you enough time to explore. I took a lot of photos, so I didn't walk too far, only reaching Dajinshan Tower on the eastern route before turning back. I had a coffee at the foot of the mountain at 3 pm. I walked 18,000 steps that day. On the return trip, Friday night was congested, and I didn't arrive at Dongzhimen until 7:20 pm.
This is a must buy if you plan on traveling to the Great Wall. It is an extremely affordable ticket that not only brings you to a lesser known area of the Great Wall but additionally provides you with a cable car ticket and a ride home. The service was great and very timely. The time given at the Great Wall was more than enough to explore everything we wanted to. This specific part of the great wall was also stellar and had many more rustic areas that were very cool to see. I absolutely recommend this for those that wish to journey to a more untouched portion of the Great Wall.

The scenery is amazing, and we share the same ticket with Hamaba. The road is narrow, so traffic jams are common. There's a restroom at the entrance, but it's so unhygienic that you can't even step in. There's a ticket inspector at the entrance to Birch Valley, but they didn't offer any advice, just asked us to show our tickets. Alas.
Birch Valley is truly beautiful and worth a visit. If you're just looking to enjoy the scenery along the way, don't buy a ticket. The entrance fee is only charged for smaller attractions, and there's really nothing much to see; it's just a close-up view. Tickets also come with little to no service. But since you're here, buying a ticket is a contribution to the economy, and you still have to pay for maintenance.

Compared to a tourist attraction, it's actually more like a large park. During the day, many people come to sing, dance, and hold activities, making it serve a better purpose. It's not very large; you can see everything in about an hour. I booked a guided tour through Ctrip, which helped me better understand the historical background and stories. There are also official guided tours available, but if you just walk around on your own, you might not remember much. If you have the time, I think it's worth setting aside 1-2 hours in the morning to stroll around, take a walk, and learn about the history.
The guide Ms Zhang was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. Was a good and enjoyable tour of the mausoleum and park.

The royal gardens are indeed unique and very large; you can't see them all in one day. It's best to hire a guide who can tell you many stories you don't know and also provide a reasonable tour route.
Overall it's alright, but it's so bare in autumn, oh my god!

Shenyang and the Forbidden City in Beijing are considered the only two imperial city complexes in China. Shenyang looks like a mini version, or rather, a youthful mini version. Some of the content is off-topic, but it's enough to spend a morning exploring.
I visited the Shenyang Imperial Palace once before, just browsing around on my own. It wasn't a long trip, and I felt I didn't understand much. This time, I specifically chose to visit Shenyang last weekend and booked a guided tour on Ctrip, also including Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence and the Governor's Mansion, which I hadn't visited before. The guided tour was very helpful. It provided detailed information on the history and background of the Imperial Palace, the Governor's Mansion, and the Governor's Mansion, as well as the architectural styles and functions, and introductions to relevant historical figures, interspersed with anecdotes. The guide was a young woman, but she was very professional and enthusiastic. Saturday was incredibly crowded, even the guide was puzzled. The Imperial Palace and the Governor's Mansion aren't very large, and the crowds made many places very cramped, especially the indoor areas. It was practically shoulder-to-shoulder, making it difficult to even get a quick look around, which significantly impacted the experience. Overall, the Imperial Palace and the Governor's Mansion are definitely worth visiting, and you don't need much time; you can see them all in less than half a day. The Governor's Mansion felt more like an exhibition hall and wasn't very good value for money.

In Qianshan, Anshan, there is no urban hustle and bustle, only towering peaks and uniquely shaped rocks that complement each other, resembling a flowing Chinese ink painting. Every spring, autumn, winter, and summer, Qianshan welcomes travelers with different faces: spring brings a riot of flowers, summer a sea of green, autumn ablaze with red leaves, and winter a snow-covered landscape of pines. It is not just a mountain, but a slowly unfolding natural scroll, captivating visitors and making them reluctant to leave.
Autumn in Qianshan is arguably the most beautiful time of year, especially with the ancient ginkgo trees as a backdrop. Wuliang Temple and Longquan Temple are particularly recommended. Qianshan's overall service facilities are now very comprehensive. However, it would be helpful to improve the service awareness and work attitude of some staff members.
