Must visit. Did a day trip from El Calafate to Torres del Paine. Felt like we stepped into a painting with a filter. I didn't realise such colours could exist naturally. Would visit again but complete a trek.
Torres del Paine National Park You asked me where I was going? I pointed to the direction of the sea... 📍 Torres del Paine National Park is located in Chile, at the southern end of the Andes Mountains, in the middle of Patagonia. 🚗 Transportation: Self-driving, depending on the road conditions, about 3 hours. Starting from Punta Arenas, the straight-line distance is 279 kilometers, and you can take a bus with affordable fares. However, considering the inconvenient transportation in Torres del Paine National Park, I still picked up the car at the airport. 🔺 Since Torres del Paine National Park is said to be famous for its strong winds, try to pick up a thick off-road vehicle. 🎫 Tickets: 21,000 Chilean pesos/person ⚠️The ticket center only accepts cash, please exchange in advance. ⌚️ Tour time: 2-3 days The transportation in the park is inconvenient, and there are more hikers in Torres del Paine National Park. Basically all attractions have various hiking routes, and the environment in the park is well protected. Therefore, all the convenience services are brought by yourself. Remember to bring your own dry food, water and garbage bags before traveling. 📝Recommended projects: 🔸Hiking routes, the signposts at the intersections of each route will inform you of the travel time and difficulty level, you can do it according to your ability and set off freely. 🔸Lago Grey glacier cruise, which needs to be booked in advance. 🔸Don't think too much about clothing matching, safety is the priority, all outdoor clothing is recommended.

The best view of the Andes Mountains. I climbed up instead of taking the cable car. The distance is not far, but the ground seems to be under repair. I fell and it was not worth it. In addition to enjoying the scenery on the top of the mountain, remember to try the local classic cold drink mote. It looks like a cold drink with pudding and beans, and it tastes good. It is said that the local Chileans will also have a cup at the top of the mountain. I took the cable car down the mountain. It was 3400, about 4 US dollars, which is not expensive. It is still a must-see attraction.

The Plaza de Armas in Santiago, the capital of Chile, was a bit scary when I read the guide before I went there. It said there would be riots, thieves, robberies, etc., so I was very cautious. They said that mobile phones and cameras could not be exposed, which made us panic. When we got there, we really didn't dare to take out our mobile phones. Seeing that the church was very beautiful, we took it out and took a picture and quickly put it back in our pockets. Later, we entered the church and walked around the square. It didn't feel as scary as what was written on the Internet! Then we saw someone on the balcony of the museum next to it, so we went in. The museum is free, but you have to deposit your bags. You have to use a one-yuan coin to store your own locker. There is a room upstairs where you can climb to the balcony of the bell tower on the top floor, but you have to wait for about 20 minutes. People inside can take a group up, about 6 people at a time, because the stairs are very narrow and only one person can go through. When you get up there, you can take the last picture overlooking the church, which feels good.
The buildings in the Plaza de Armas in the city center are very beautiful, and Zhili is also one of the main tourist areas in the area. There are many government buildings and various beautiful old buildings around the square, which are worth visiting.

Magic place. Lot's of places to visit, tours are very safe and the guides are great fun. Stay and eat at San Pedro, nice, little town in the middle of the desert.
I went to see the Valley of the Moon, but the schedule didn't work out due to rain, so I chose the geyser tour. I arrived at the geyser at 5 am after passing through a bumpy road. It was amazing to see it up close, unlike when I saw it from afar, and I was sucked into the scene that looked like the surface of another planet. This wasn't the end. After eating breakfast in an open space on all sides, I was tired from the 2-hour descent and was about to close my eyes, but it was so dark on the way up that I couldn't see the Andes scenery, so it was a wonderful tour that I couldn't sleep.

The Birdman Village site is the living site of the aborigines on Easter Island. These mysterious tribes are the creators of the mysterious stone statues on the island. In the living site, there are the foundations of the houses they built, as well as caves, and many archaeological discoveries of their daily necessities and tools at that time, which are very valuable for research and worth visiting.

Archaeologists have discovered that the Rano Raraku Quarry is the source of stone for the statues on Easter Island. There are many traces of rock excavation and semi-finished stone statues, from which you can also discover the production process of these statues, which is full of mystery and the beauty of primitive power.
Easter Island is undoubtedly the most attractive area in Chile. It is more than 3,000 kilometers away from Chile. On such a seemingly isolated island, there are many large stone statues. One cannot help but wonder who created these statues.

This place is so magical. I had a chance to travel here because the ship I am working on had been here. It was a great opportunity since not a lot of people can go here since it’s very remote in the Pacific Ocean. The locals did a great job in maintaining the untouched beauty of the place
Ahu Tongariki is a famous attraction on Easter Island. On the coast here, there are 7 different stone statues, two of which are damaged. But you can still see that they are a family, full of life, and the beautiful coastal scenery behind them gives people a very warm feeling.

To get to Ahu Te Pito Kura it is a 1.5 hour walk from where you park your vehicle, it is a very quiet spot with great views of Rapa Nui, it was a bit cloudy when you got to the top so wear clothing for drizzle or cover up from heavy clouds although it is hot. Horses are available for hire if you don't want to walk.
The World's Button on Easter Island is a magical site left by the island's inhabitants. It is surrounded by a fence made of stones, and the stones inside are rubbed into a round shape, just like a human belly button, very smooth. What exactly this represents is still an unsolved mystery.

Interesting cathedral! Have visited many cathedrals over the years, the Metropolitan Cathedral in Plaza de Santiago is not particularly outstanding but the interior architecture and frescoes are worth seeing and it is a fairly busy place. The small chapel to the left as you walk into the main entrance is worth a look.
