It was very hot when we arrived. The guide said we should go very early, so we arrived a little after seven o'clock. The weather was fine at that time. We saw four or five pandas eating and drinking lazily. They moved very slowly. I took a lot of photos, and each one was beautiful. We watched them for a while and then went to see some other animals. These animals were very leisurely, and the interaction between the brown bears and the keepers was also very interesting.

Upon entering the East Second Gate, the first thing you'll be greeted by is the incredibly popular Panda Pavilion. Home to 23 adorable giant pandas, it boasts the largest number of giant pandas on display at any city zoo. Around 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., the pandas' activities and feeding times are here. You can see pandas like "Si Xi Wan Zi" leisurely munching on bamboo or playfully crawling around. The sight of "Yu Ke Yu Ai" sipping milk from a bottle is truly heartwarming.

It would be better to learn about the relevant history before going. The scenic area is quite large and rich in historical and cultural heritage. It is worth visiting. However, there was a lot of traffic. There were too many people going and the scenic area was full. We parked outside and took the shuttle bus to the scenic area.

I didn't make a reservation for the Three Gorges Museum. I bought a ticket for the special exhibition and went in directly. I was a little curious about the Dazu Rock Carvings, but I think this exhibition could have been better.
Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, also known as Chongqing Museum, is one of the first national first-class museums, a national museum jointly built by the central and local governments, and a fully funded institution at the department level. The Three Gorges Museum has a unique shape, convenient transportation, and a superior location.

In September 2000, the General Office of the State Council approved the establishment of Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum (Chongqing Museum). The museum is open to the public free of charge and closed on Mondays.
Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum covers an area of 50,000 square meters, a construction area of 71,700 square meters, and an exhibition hall area of 31,000 square meters.
Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, formerly known as the Southwest Museum established in March 1951, was renamed Chongqing Museum in June 1955. The new museum was officially opened to the public on June 18, 2005.
The museum consists of five venues: the main hall, Chongqing Baiheliang Underwater Museum, Chongqing Song Qingling Memorial Hall, Tushan Kiln Site, and Chongqing Three Gorges Cultural Relics Science and Technology Protection Center. Together with the adjacent Chongqing People's Square and the People's Auditorium, it forms a "three-in-one" urban landmark building complex.
The exhibition consists of 4 basic exhibitions, 6 thematic exhibitions, 1 360-degree full-circle movie, 1 half-view painting exhibition, 1 audience practice center and 3 temporary exhibitions.
The museum currently has more than 115,000 pieces/sets of cultural relics and more than 18,000 rare ancient books, covering 23 categories of cultural relics, forming a series of special collections such as "ancient human specimens, Three Gorges cultural relics, Bayu bronzes, Han Dynasty cultural relics, southwestern ethnic cultural relics, anti-Japanese war cultural relics in the rear area, porcelain, calligraphy and painting, and guqin". 25
On November 18, 2020, it was elected as the "New Landmark of the Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor". In November 2022, it was selected into the first batch of supplementary certification list of national popular science education bases from 2021 to 2025.
