The Wumao Earth Forest in Yuanmou Earth Forest is located in Luoxing Village, Wumao Township, Yuanmou County, Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It has been cut into castles, screens, and columnar earth forests like "sand sculptures and clay sculptures" by wind and rain. There are many classic images such as Lingxiao Palace, East China Sea Dragon Palace, rooster crowing, camel, peacock, etc.
Not bad. Take the bus from the county town to the scenic spot at 9:20, and walk for two hours without rushing. Take the same bus back to the county town at 12:30. Get off at the Yuanmou Man Museum in the county town, have a good meal nearby, and visit the museum and Phoenix Lake Park for free.

The dinosaur skeleton fossils are truly impressive. There are children's experience guides available, so you can try them out.
The playground is very safe and organized.

This attraction wasn't originally on our Yunnan road trip itinerary, but when we visited Fuxian Lake, we stumbled upon it. The kids wanted to go, so we made the 200-plus kilometer round trip after our Fuxian Lake visit. It was well worth it, and two parents in their 40s had a blast accompanying them. The Dinosaur Valley adventure was fun and thrilling. Seeing real dinosaur fossils at the Relic Park was truly impressive. It's much cheaper than Chimelong. It's best to go early to avoid running out of things to do, and leave more time for the Relic Park. It's definitely worth a visit.
