Natural landscape -Ancient Ginkgo Group: The densest ancient ginkgo group in the world, presenting a golden ocean landscape in autumn -Small bridges and flowing water: The clear streams and ancient bridges in the core area form a poetic picture -Apricot Lake Bridge: A five-story pavilion-style wind and rain bridge spans across the Apricot Lake, where you can enjoy tea and view the scenery Humanistic relics -Ancient Post Road: An important section of the Yunnan-Guizhou Ancient Post Road and the Ancient Tea-Horse Road -Tree King: An ancient tree over 1,500 years old, although the upper part is withered, the lower part is still growing tenaciously -Ancient houses: Traditional tiled houses and ancient ginkgo trees complement each other
The ginkgo trees in Tuole Village are scattered throughout the village. Since we went there a week late, some of the trees had already shed their leaves, while some had not yet completely turned yellow. Walking in the village, the quaint buildings and thousand-year-old trees gave the village a sense of magic!

We drove there, and although the road was long and winding, the terraced fields were worth the journey. Unfortunately, the next morning was cloudy, so we didn't see the terraced fields in the morning light.
The scenery is stunning, and one ticket covers several terraced fields. The sightseeing bus is unlimited and stops whenever you wave. The staff are very friendly. Aside from the local villagers' restaurants and guesthouses, all other businesses appear to be owned by the scenic area. The service is excellent, and the area isn't overly commercialized. It's also relatively quiet, making it a very comfortable experience. The only downside is that some teenagers are racing motorcycles in the area at night, which is noisy and unsafe.

The scenery is beautiful, but there's some traffic. Traffic jams happen because some people think they're smarter than others and skip the line, overtaking from the side lanes and blocking oncoming traffic. I've taken photos of these cars skipping the line and exposing them, hoping to foster public scrutiny and promote social progress. We can't always let those who skip the line take advantage while those with public morals suffer.
This is the location mentioned in Chairman Mao's poem "The Long March." "The Five Ridges wind like gentle waves, the Wumeng Mountains are majestic and majestic, rolling in the mud." The great man's words are imbued with revolutionary passion. Back in 1935, at a time of national crisis, a group of Red Army troops, filled with revolutionary ideals to transform the world and build a new China, began their journey in the mountains of Jiangxi and Hunan. They were then forced into the Long March by counter-revolutionary encirclement and suppression. Eighty years ago, in today's peaceful times, have become a beautiful sight before our eyes. The hardships endured by the Red Army have become the roads we now face, the natural barriers we face now, and the world has been transformed! Arriving at the Wumeng Grassland, we'll find farmhouses and hotels along the way, each with its own cattle and sheep slaughterhouse. Herds of cattle and sheep abound, leisurely grazing amidst the blue sky, white clouds, and verdant mountains and clear waters. Here, too, there are groups of horseback riders and herders grazing their cattle. Galloping on horseback through the alpine meadows was such a joy... The road winds along, filled with seas of clouds, mountains, horses, cattle, sheep, and people unfettered by their own freedom, as well as tents and RVs of all colors. There are also campsites and people trekking up the canyon. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the people taking photos and checking in admirably embellish the beautiful scenery, a true reflection of the people's yearning and pursuit for a better life! The road may be long, but the journey will eventually lead to the destination! We also rode the bus through the rolling hills, letting our eyes take in the scenery and our hearts wander freely. Someone played "To the Clouds," which was perfectly fitting! Everyone sang and sang, taking in photos and checking in on the Cloud Plank Road. Occasionally, cattle and sheep would approach, unfazed. Many people drove along the mountain roads, but some cars unfortunately got stuck, causing traffic congestion in some sections. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. Just one moment, the sky was clear, then suddenly it was overcast. From time to time, clouds would blow in, and then a moment later, a steady rain would fall... Perhaps this is the beauty and magic of the Wumeng Grassland. It's said that around 4 p.m., the Tyndall effect occurs, where sunlight scatters through clouds. If you're lucky, you might even witness the Buddha's light shining brightly. Due to time constraints, we didn't see it. We continued on our journey, passing through lush green mountains and clear waters, and then walked a long, poorly maintained road before reaching the Beipanjiang Bridge, said to be the world's tallest bridge at 600 meters. This is a great victory for our country's infrastructure, and it's a testament to the fact that mountain dwellers have transformed natural barriers into accessible roads, no longer feeling overwhelmed by the sight of mountains.

The Gui'an Cherry Blossom Garden lives up to its reputation as "the most beautiful cherry blossom garden on the blue planet." 700,000 cherry trees are in full bloom across 24,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) of land. The vibrant sea of pink and white blossoms, set against the backdrop of emerald green tea fields and sparkling lakes, creates a breathtaking spring scene. Strolling through it feels like stepping into a dreamlike fairytale.
As soon as you step into the park, it feels like you have walked into a pink fairy tale world. Seven hundred thousand cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the pink and white all over the mountains are as misty as clouds, which is breathtakingly beautiful. Surrounding it is the Red Maple Lake, the blue water of the lake, which contrasts with the cherry blossom forest, forming a picturesque scenery. Taking a boat to enjoy the cherry blossoms can experience a different kind of romance. The facilities in the park are also relatively complete. The observation deck allows you to overlook the panoramic view and feel the shock of the sea of cherry blossoms. There are also folk music performances on the open-air stage, coupled with a coffee market and a cultural and creative food exhibition, so that you can enjoy a feast of culture and food while enjoying the flowers. The only drawback is that there is a disguised secondary charge for the shuttle bus and sightseeing bus in the park, which affects the play experience to a certain extent. But overall, the beauty of Gui'an Cherry Blossom Garden is still worth a visit, and it is a check-in destination that cherry blossom lovers cannot miss.

The scenic area has not yet been commercialized, and more than 90% of the residents are locals; there is a profound democratic cultural heritage, Dong culture, Dong songs, Dong clothing, Dong characteristic architecture, etc. ... agricultural culture and a self-sufficient lifestyle... a place full of happiness! There are beautiful terraced fields, each season has its own scenery, and the Dong architecture is also very beautiful.
There is nothing particularly special in the Zhaoxing Dong Village. It is much smaller than the Qianhu Miao Village, and there are not many places to visit. However, I went to the Tang'an Terraces on the mountain at sunset. I was amazed and took a lot of great photos!

The scenic area is huge, so it's worth planning your visit. It's also worth buying an electric car, as it's difficult to walk. The panoramic view from the observation deck is beautiful, and the items sold in the area are reasonably priced. The balloons in the rice fields are great for taking photos.
Unique Landforms: Wanfenglin is the world's most typical region for the development of conical karst peak forests. Its landscape is dominated by conical peaks and peak clusters, formed from Triassic rocks. Dotted throughout are various geological relics, including karst caves, funnels, and underground rivers. It is known as the "China Conical Karst Museum." Diverse Peak Forests: Wanfenglin is divided into East and West Peak Forests. The East Peak Forest is characterized by towering karst peaks, while the West Peak Forest is a plateau karst landscape. The peak forests vary in form, with five major types, including the Array Peak Forest, the Sword Peak Forest, and the Dragon Peak Forest, forming a magnificent and vast karst landscape. Pleasant Climate: The region boasts a subtropical monsoon humid climate, with an average annual temperature of 16-18°C, with neither severe cold in winter nor extreme heat in summer. The average temperature in July is 21-26°C. It is listed as a national summer resort city and a popular destination for health and leisure tourism in China. Beautiful countryside: The Nahui River winds through it, and the Bagua fields, rice fields and Buyi villages complement each other, forming a picturesque pastoral landscape. The rapeseed flowers are brilliant in spring, and the rice paddies are golden in autumn. The scenery varies with each season.

Visiting Qianhu Miao Village on a rainy day is a unique experience. It's worthy of being the largest Miao village in China, with mist shrouding the mountains, like a fairyland. There aren't many people in the off-season, and the shuttle bus ride is very smooth. The rain only made the trip a little inconvenient, but it didn't dampen the interest of the visit.
The Miao village is large, with sightseeing bus stops included in your ticket. Numerous restaurants serve authentic local specialties. The most enjoyable part is strolling through the village, where the winding staircases reveal the stilt houses of the Miao people. As night falls, watching the lights gradually light up, it feels like entering a fairytale world.

Covering 5,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres), it's six times the size of Huaxi Park and is ideal for hiking, boating, picnics, and wilderness survival training. The area around Nanzhumen, with its large mountains and dense forests, needs to improve bridge guardrail repairs and establish a leisure station.
The natural landscape is beautiful - The lake and mountains complement each other: Guanshan Lake and Jinhua Lake in Guanshan Lake Park are like two shining pearls. The lake water is clear and the water level is balanced all year round. The water ripples and sparkles. The lakeshore is winding, surrounded by undulating mountains, shaded by green trees, and the mountains and waters are interdependent, forming a natural landscape painting.   - The beauty of each season is unique: in spring, cherry blossoms are in full bloom on Cherry Blossom Avenue, like clouds and rosy clouds, and peach blossoms, plum blossoms, etc. are also blooming in colorful colors; in summer, the green shade on the Plantain Avenue is like a cover, and the lush trees provide tourists with a cool summer resort; in autumn, the pine cones on the Cedar Avenue are full of branches, golden, and the colorful autumn leaves are intertwined, forming a colorful puzzle; in winter, the branches of various trees show a different style in the cold wind, and sometimes a thin mist rises on the lake, like a fairyland. Superior and harmonious ecological environment - Fresh and pleasant urban green lung: The park covers a total area of more than 5,500 mu, with a forest area of 4,160 mu. It is the urban "green lung" of Guanshan Lake District. The park is rich in vegetation and high in negative oxygen ions, just like a natural oxygen bar, providing fresh and pleasant air for citizens and tourists. - Harmonious coexistence of biodiversity: The ecological wetland composed of Guanshan Lake and Jinhua Lake has a water area of about 600 mu, attracting hundreds of egrets, wild ducks and other birds to live here. They either play on the lake or rest on the branches, complementing the surrounding natural landscape, presenting a harmonious and symbiotic ecological picture. Unique cultural landscape - Deep and rich cultural heritage: The park has cultural landscapes such as the National Culture Corridor and the Bronze Drum Square. The National Culture Corridor displays the relevant content of 56 ethnic groups and nine traditional ethnic minority sports games. The Bronze Drum Square is home to statues with a strong Guizhou ethnic minority style. These landscapes fully demonstrate the rich ethnic minority culture of Guizhou.

As an emerging cultural and tourism destination in northern Guizhou, the Wujiangzhai International Tourism Resort in Guizhou Province offers distinct characteristics and differentiated experiences. Its core strength lies in its in-depth integration of natural landscape and intangible cultural heritage. The cascading terraces of the Wujiang Gorge and the cluster of stilt houses of northern Guizhou create a visual backdrop reminiscent of an ink painting. Live demonstrations of over ten intangible cultural heritage skills, including bamboo rafting, Miao embroidery, and plant dyeing, imbue the resort with a unique cultural depth. 12 The distinct day and night landscape design is particularly striking. During the day, visitors can roam the emerald waters on rowboats and participate in crafts like flower and grass paper making and bamboo weaving. At night, drone formations and musical water dances interweave over the terraces, creating a dreamy light and shadow effect. This is complemented by folk performances such as iron flower making and bonfire parties, creating a powerful visual impact. 23 The resort also transforms traditional folk customs, such as reed pipe parades and Nuo opera performances, into immersive experiences through themed events such as the "Wujiang Dam Festival," attracting both Chinese and international visitors. This development model, characterized by "nature as the backdrop and culture as the soul," has made Wujiang Village an important showcase for Guizhou's diverse ethnic cultures. 1 While Wujiang Village boasts remarkable cultural experiences and landscape design, its commercialized operation has also sparked some controversy. Some visitors consider the ticket price (120 yuan for adults) and additional charges (such as a 20 yuan one-way shuttle bus and a 60 yuan boat trip) to be high, especially compared to similar ancient town attractions. 45 Transportation is also a drawback. Approximately a 1.5-hour drive from downtown Zunyi, non-driving visitors must rely on high-speed rail and then taxis, and return trips at night are often expensive. 46 Furthermore, as an artificial resort, it lacks the authentic feel of indigenous life. During the day, some shops can appear deserted, and the presentation of its cultural heritage relies on deliberately orchestrated performances. 47 High summer temperatures (above 30°C) and nighttime mosquito problems also impact comfort. Dining and accommodation options are limited, leading to a peak season price premium. These factors make Wujiang Village more suitable as a short-distance leisure destination rather than a first choice for in-depth cultural exploration‌4.
About Wujiangzhai International Tourism Resort: Located in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, China, Wujiangzhai International Tourism Resort is a comprehensive tourist destination that blends natural beauty, ethnic culture, and modern leisure and entertainment. Its beautiful natural landscape, rich ethnic culture, and diverse leisure facilities attract numerous visitors. Highlights: Splendid Natural Scenery: The resort is nestled against the breathtaking backdrop of the Wujiang River, where mountains and water complement each other, creating a lush green landscape. Visitors can enjoy a diverse array of natural scenery, including canyons, waterfalls, and lakes, perfect for hiking, photography, and relaxation. Ethnic Cultural Experience: Home to ethnic minorities such as the Miao and Dong, the resort features a charming ethnic village where visitors can experience traditional handicrafts, savor local delicacies, and immerse themselves in the rich cultural atmosphere. Extensive Recreational Facilities: Rafting, cable cars, hot springs, and a wellness center are available, making it ideal for family outings, gatherings with friends, or simply to relax and unwind. Ecological Protection and Sustainable Development: The resort prioritizes ecological conservation and fosters a green tourism environment, allowing visitors to experience nature while also embracing environmental principles. Advantages: Convenient transportation and well-developed infrastructure Diverse travel experiences to meet the needs of diverse travelers Distinctive cultural characteristics and unique ethnic customs Suitable for leisure and wellness, as well as family trips Recommendations: Plan your itinerary in advance and schedule wisely to avoid peak crowds. Respect local ethnic culture and comply with scenic area regulations. Be safe, especially during outdoor activities. Overall Evaluation: Wujiangzhai International Tourism Resort is a premium destination that blends natural beauty, ethnic culture, and leisure and entertainment. Whether you enjoy nature, cultural experiences, or relaxation, there's something for everyone here. We look forward to the resort's continued improvement in service quality, making it a key tourism destination for Guizhou and even China.

You absolutely have to drive to Asili West Second Terrace! Bring snacks and sunscreen. We went in early August, so a thin shirt and pants and a vest were enough (also a shawl). Horseback riding costs 20 yuan, so take your time to bargain.
There were so many cars driving here that it took 30 minutes to queue up to get into the service area. The area was also packed with cars, so traffic was slow. Except for the wave road, where staff were directing cars, they let them through one by one, allowing me to experience the feeling of the waves. The scenery was still spectacular, but there were a lot of cars.
