Sun Island Scenic Area: A National 5A-level scenic spot and Harbin's iconic landmark, it's surrounded by water and boasts breathtaking scenery. Free areas include Sun Stone Square, where you can take photos with the Sun Stone; Squirrel Island, where you can feed the squirrels (please bring your own sunflower seeds); and Swan Lake, where you can watch black swans gracefully swim. The shaded lakeside trees of Shuige Yuntian are a great place to escape the summer heat.
A long-established 5A scenic spot in Harbin. The song "Sun Island" brought this island on the Songhua River to national attention. Besides its natural beauty, the island's main attractions include the Ice and Snow World and Snow Sculpture Park in winter, the Polar Pavilion with its clever beluga whales and penguins, the charming Russian-style town with its numerous Russian-style villas, and the recent addition of the giant panda cheese and sesame. Across the river, Harbin's main city awaits, while cable cars and river boats offer sunset views. Perhaps this is a summer getaway for Harbin residents seeking family getaways. Don't expect too much; just relax and discover what you're looking for. Here, you'll find natural scenery, cultural architecture, and animals—a truly peaceful retreat.

This is the most distinctive opera house I have ever visited. It is very beautiful from the front, side, top, and top. It looks like a mountain from the side, and it looks different from far and near. The layout of the hall is also very professional and unique. The only drawback is that you can't visit the two theaters where the theater performs. In fact, there is an entrance where you can look inside.
This time when I went to Harbin, Harbin Grand Theater was the attraction that impressed me the most and was my favorite. I am an old literary and artistic worker and have visited many famous theaters, including the National Grand Theater, the Sydney Opera House, Changsha Meixi Lake Art Center... too many to list, but I have to say that I like Harbin Grand Theater so much! Here I would like to express my sincere thanks to the two staff members on duty! Thank you for their enthusiastic introduction and service, which made my impression of Harbin even better! The only thing I was not satisfied with was that I couldn’t see the facilities and interior environment of the theater!

The environment is very good, surrounded by green trees, and it is very cool in places without the sun. It is a good place for a family trip in summer. After entering the park, there is a long way to go. There is no scenery and no animals. It feels like it is just a difficulty set up to sell battery car tickets.
The zoo is good, with many kinds of animals, but it's a bit tiring. The zoo is very large, so you have to drive there by yourself, otherwise it's not very convenient. Overall, it's good. If I have the chance, I will go again. The ticket price is also reasonable.

Hidden amid Harbin's bustling streets lies a forest oasis within the city: the Heilongjiang Forest Botanical Garden. Located at 105 Haping Road in Xiangfang District, it is China's only national forest park located in an urban area. It is a comprehensive botanical garden integrating scientific research, popular science, tourism, and leisure activities. Founded in 1958, the garden covers 136 hectares and features over 1,500 plant species from Northeast China, North China, Northwest China, and some international locations, creating a vast botanical kingdom. Fifteen distinctive plant gardens are located within the garden. The Arboretum is a living natural textbook, showcasing precious woods such as Changbai pine and Juglans mandshurica. The Medicinal Plant Garden showcases nearly 200 species of medicinal plants from 59 families, offering both medicinal and ornamental uses. In spring, hundreds of thousands of tulips bloom in the tulip garden, creating a striking contrast with Dutch-style windmills and wooden shoes, creating a sense of exotic adventure. In addition to its rich botanical landscape, the garden also offers numerous attractions. The 12,000-square-meter lake within the garden boasts clear waters, perfect for boating and enjoying the gentle breeze. The 48-meter-tall European-style Qingyun Tower soars into the sky, offering panoramic views of the entire garden from its summit. The 10,000-square-meter Ecological Leisure Plaza is a great spot for strolling or camping. Additionally, there are quaint and elegant landscape features like the Nine Dragon Wall and Longevity Hill, each imbued with charm. This garden is also a popular destination for science education, having been awarded numerous honorary titles, including "National Science Education Base" and "Wild Plant Conservation Science Education Base." Children can learn about nature and broaden their horizons by observing plants and participating in science activities. The Heilongjiang Forest Botanical Garden is picturesque in all seasons. In spring, it blooms in profusion, while in summer, its lush greenery makes it a popular summer retreat. In autumn, maple leaves turn red, and branches are laden with fruit. In winter, the garden is blanketed in snow, creating a unique spectacle. No matter when you visit, you'll enjoy a unique and wonderful experience, making it a must-see treasure in Harbin.
The scenery is nice, but a bit monotonous, mainly hosta, lilac and red pine. Special reminder: Don't buy the Madiel popsicles in the park, they are pirated and inferior, and too sweet.

The Siberian Tiger Park is accessible by bus 🚌, making it particularly convenient to stay on Central Street. First, take the subway 🚇, then transfer to the bus 🚌, and you're in the park. There are some lovely sculptures 🐯 at the entrance, perfect for photo ops. There are two types of entrances: sightseeing buses and thrilling rides. The thrilling rides offer live chickens, ducks, and meat strips, and are more expensive than the sightseeing buses. I recommend going in the morning when the park opens, as the tigers and lions are usually full and won't eat, making for less interactive viewing. You can spot internet celebrities like Er Maitai and Er Mihu, as well as a two-year-old tiger cub, who's quite impressive despite his youth. There are also souvenir shops, but they're quite expensive. Outside the park, there are also some affordable and high-quality stalls selling souvenirs, so grab some if you're interested.
The Siberian tigers are pretty cool, and I was completely pissed off when I saw them. However, the thrill rides felt just like regular rides, and the 20 yuan per piece of meat is really expensive. And remember to buy your Ctrip tickets an hour in advance, otherwise you'll have to wait for them to be validated.
