Most beautiful valleys and rivers in Japan. I travelled many countries but this was amazing in all aspects. Superb experience. You can do it in one day but better to sleep over 1 night if hotels nearby available. I went with a bus from Nagoya a 3hrs journey 1 way.

amazing nature view .I spent 2.5hrs to walk 12km walking path.if you have time , highly recommended to spend half day in Kamikochi .enjoy the mountains and water.there is less pollution as people can drive their private car in here .

Matsumoto Castle is located in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Matsumoto Castle was built in 1504 and is the oldest five-story, six-story national treasure castle in Japan. It is currently open to the public, and you can climb the highest castle tower to overlook Matsumoto City and the snow-capped mountains in the distance.
There are many maple trees and cherry trees planted in Matsumoto Castle, which is also a good place for people to enjoy red leaves and cherry blossoms. In early November, in the late autumn season, I drove to Matsumoto Castle. The maple leaves in Matsumoto Castle are already red, and together with the golden ginkgo leaves and the blue sky, they decorate Matsumoto Castle, which is amazing.
