It's a worthwhile attraction to take children to learn about history. However, there were too many tourists during the holidays and it was raining. I didn't bring an umbrella with me. I finally wanted to borrow an umbrella from the staff at the door to take it to the car. But they refused.
We hired a professional tour guide. Every scene was explained in detail and professionally. The weather was a bit hot and humid. The whole three-hour tour was very patient and meticulous. She was very dedicated. Very good! Thank you, Teacher Xiao Chang.

The moment I stepped into the Shenyang Museum, I was enveloped by a strange tranquility. Beneath the soaring dome, light, like a messenger of time, gently shone upon the neatly arranged display cases. Behind glass barriers, the artifacts—gold embroidery on Qing Dynasty dragon robes, charred wood carvings from the Xinle Ruins, and ritual instruments from the Bronze Age—rested peacefully. Meticulously labeled, scientifically illuminated, and temperature-controlled, they evoked a unique museum-like "perfect solitude." As I left the exhibition hall, the setting sun filtered through the vast glass curtain wall, bathing the entire museum in a golden glow. I realized that the true value of a museum lies not in the number of "objects" it preserves, but in its ability to inspire visitors to make the leap from "viewing" to "understanding." History is not a sealed specimen but a memory that needs to be activated. Those glass display cases are both barriers and windows. The key lies in our willingness to unlock them with the key of imagination, allowing the artifacts to breathe again and history to speak once more. What the Shenyang Museum ultimately left me with was not the memory of the artifacts themselves, but the revelation of a method: true historical understanding occurs when the viewer's soul trembles, when the glimmer of the past illuminates the present of our existence through the intermediary of objects.
This trip to Shenyang finally revealed that, besides the Liaoning Provincial Museum, the Shenyang Museum is also a truly outstanding destination. While its collections lag behind the Liaoning Provincial Museum in both quantity and quality, the selection and layout of its exhibits differentiate it from the Liaoning Museum, a testament to the museum's thoughtful approach. The Shenyang Museum's smaller size and smaller visitor numbers make for a more manageable and less tiring visit. The exhibits feature artifacts from the Stone Age, feudal dynasties to modern times, the Qing Dynasty imperial family and its history, and collections from the Shenyang Palace Museum. The Khitan pure gold mask is a highlight among the museum's treasures.

It's quite good, but the area's shuttle buses are a bit unfriendly. There are no sightseeing buses, only small shuttle buses that can seat two people, which cost 100 yuan per hour, which is a poor value. There aren't many animals, probably hidden in the hot weather. The only interesting thing about the zoo is the black bears. It's one of the worst of all the zoos in Northeast China.
We went during the summer, and children under 18 were free, which was a really nice touch. A taxi from Zhongjie would have taken over 50 minutes, so we weren't in a rush, so we took the subway and a special bus to the zoo. It was a leisurely stroll through the many animals, and crucially, it was very clean. You can bring your own food; the panda park has rice, but the rest of the area only has water and sausage. We took a leisurely trip, visiting only one location in a day, so we weren't rushed, and the experience was great!

Qingzhao Mausoleum is commonly known as Beiling, located at No. 12 Taishan Road, Huanggu District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is the joint burial tomb of Qing Taizong Emperor Taiji and Xiaoduanwen Queen Bolzigit. The Qingzhao Mausoleum covers an area of more than 3 million square meters, built in Qing Chongde for eight years, and then after the addition and transformation of Kangxi and Qianlong emperors, it finally formed a unique ancient building complex, which is the largest and most complete imperial tomb in Shengjing Sanling. After the establishment of New China, the competent unit in Shenyang City, on the principle of maintaining the integrity of the ancient buildings in the mausoleum and maintaining the ancient pine forest after the mausoleum, planned and built Beiling Park, so that Beiling Park has been developed and built in a planned way, and has become a multi-functional, comprehensive cultural and leisure park. Shenyang Beiling Park should be the most lively mausoleum park, cute fashion cultural tourism design, layout of the hot and lively, "cool summer, lotus color fragrance" theme, for citizens and tourists to spread a long summer heat painting. Summer is hot, and Beiling Park is refreshing and refreshing because of the full pool of lotus fragrance.
It was a very good experience. The scenic spot has a lot of historical and cultural heritage. The tour guide Xiao Si gave a very detailed explanation throughout the whole process. The service attitude was also very good. It's great for everyone to visit!

What a beautiful scenery, it's super photogenic when the sun is shining! And it's full of fun. They arranged watermelon juice tasting, archery, raffles, rice ice cream, rice porridge, and rice cakes. The whole process was very interesting! The arrangement was very good! Students are free of charge... The journey is not as inconvenient as imagined! It's a place worth visiting
Shenyang Daomeng Space Ice and Snow Town is located in Shenyang Shenbei New District, about 50 kilometers away from the city center. In winter, Daomeng Space is decorated with an artistic style everywhere, which is very photogenic. The participation of tourists is the biggest highlight of the Ice and Snow Town. There are many ice and snow projects here, and tourists have a lot of fun. Moreover, the winter in Shenyang is not too cold, which is more suitable for playing with ice and snow!

The Shenyang Palace Museum is China's most complete surviving imperial palace complex, second only to the Forbidden City in Beijing. Construction began in 1625 and it is now a National First-Class Museum and a World Cultural Heritage Site. Its architecture blends Han, Manchu, Mongolian, and Tibetan artistic styles, distinguished by its unique layout of high palaces and low halls. The museum houses over 109,000 cultural relics, including 39,000 precious artifacts such as the Yongzheng period dragon and phoenix doucai large plate, showcasing Qing dynasty court art and Manchu culture. Together, the architecture and its collections constitute a "holy site of the founding of the nation," earning it the nickname "the Forbidden City beyond the Great Wall." The Shenyang Palace, a palace, holds a sliver of Qing history. "Red walls reflect the sun's shadows, ancient bricks tell of the past." Home to countless collections, the museum embodies a lingering sense of antiquity, quietly capturing a thousand years of history.
The Shenyang Palace Museum is not big. If you visit it by yourself, you may finish it in a short time, so it is necessary to hire a reliable tour guide. It is worthwhile to listen to various interesting stories about the Qing Dynasty while visiting!
