Xiyu BBQ Restaurant is a very popular restaurant in Urumqi. If you arrive early, you don't have to queue up. You can pick a seat you like and scan the code to order. If the number of orders is large, the system will prompt "too much". The barbecue of various meats is absolutely the best, tender, spicy and delicious. The stewed potatoes in the earth pit are really the last one to fill you up. With such a super taste and atmosphere, the checkout fee is particularly touching, and the cost performance is explosive. When I left, there was already a long line.
After reading many user recommendations, I followed their advice and went early, around 6:30. There weren't many people there, so I found a seat. When I came out after eating at around 7:00, there were already many people sitting on small stools waiting for a seat. It's very hot to wait in summer, so I still recommend going early.
The three of us ordered Loulan small barbecue, rack meat, yogurt rice dumplings, crispy pork tendons, and Loulan grapes. The small barbecue was very tender and tasty. First, go to the pilaf counter to pick up your meal. At this time of afternoon, the lamb shank is gone, so the double meat will do. The meat is truly delicious, tender and fragrant, while the rice is crispy and has a subtle sweetness from the carrots. Finally, pick up your skewers with your ticket. They're cooked one by one, so the wait is a bit longer. The skewers are generous, but order less! This is a long-established place, and besides tourists, locals also frequent it.
The clerks can't understand Chinese, but the front desk can understand it. You can compare numbers. You can order at the front desk. There is a picture menu and you can pick it up at the door with the receipt. I went there on a weekday night. Environment: The roadside entrance is quite unassuming, small enough to make you think it's just a fast-food restaurant. Once inside, you'll find a different world, brimming with exotic charm. The high ceilings are already impressive, and the mirrored ceilings add to the spaciousness, creating a vibrant, vibrant atmosphere.

Compared to the Dapanji, the boiled beef is just average; it's overcooked and not tender enough, and the portion size isn't generous enough. While the spicy flavor is strong, the beef's natural aroma is masked. The low salt content leaves only the aroma of the chili peppers, so I wouldn't recommend this dish. [Sweat]
Value for money: I personally think it's quite good. A Dapanji serving weighs 900 grams, and with noodles and two skewers, two people can enjoy a delicious meal for under 100 yuan.
