I'm from Chongqing. There were 10 of us in our group, including three kids aged 6-11-14 and three elderly people. The total cost of drinks and dishes was a little over 400 yuan. We were very full. Chang'an Hulu Chicken is delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Pole Cold Noodles taste good, not very strong. The location is unique, inside the large comprehensive shopping mall "Joy City" next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Tang Dynasty City that Never Sleeps. I happened to live in the Westin Hotel opposite, so I had to check in at such a popular online celebrity restaurant.
There is a waiting area outside. Seeing a bunch of tea, snacks, and fruits prepared for waiting guests, I was mentally prepared. I looked up and saw the display screen of the number of waiting tables. It turned out that it was not just a normal crowd of customers, and it was not a holiday or weekend.
I chose this restaurant before I went to Xi'an for a trip. It is said that you can see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the night view of Xi'an here; you can also see the dishes and snacks of Xi'an's big stalls.
There are no private rooms if you make a reservation one day in advance. There is no reservation in the lobby, and you will be seated at that time. We arrived at around 5:30 that day, and there were not many customers yet. There were free tea and a variety of snacks in the waiting area at the door. When the number was called, the gong would be beaten and the flag would be held to lead the guests to their seats. After 6 o'clock, the waiting area gradually became more and more crowded. We entered the store when the number was called, ordered dishes and started eating: Feizi Xiao is a must-order, and the brush pastry was not ordered (it felt that it would taste weird). We also ordered some Shaanxi specialties and snacks, which tasted pretty good. Feizi Xiao does not have a particularly good taste, but it wins in shape. The Nv'erhong and Taohuayin ordered tasted pretty good, and there were also free snacks and rock sugar pear dew.
There was a performance at 7 pm, and "Chang'e" floated between the tables. Chang'e was very friendly and did not refuse guests' requests to take pictures.
