Overall, it was quite good. Although it was the off-season, the scenery was still very beautiful. There were many kinds of animals, and the facilities in each venue were very complete. The shows were also very good. I recommend everyone to visit. Tickets are even cheaper in the off-season, and it's actually very, very close to the bird park on foot.
The facilities are a bit old, probably because they've been there for a while, but the animals are super cute. The shows are also very good, so you should definitely go. Be sure to check the show times in advance!

I went there purely to see the pandas. The environment was nice, large, and quiet, with no strong smells. There was also an amusement park and a Ferris wheel near the entrance, and a large plaza with a flock of pigeons.
Compared to other popular zoos, Dalian Zoo offers a great option where you don't have to queue to see the pandas. The facilities and services are also relatively high-quality, and the zoo boasts a wide variety of animals, making it a great destination for animal lovers. However, please note that there are two separate shuttle bus routes for the predator enclosure and the free-range area, requiring you to pay twice for each ride. Each ticket costs 20 yuan.

Dalian Sun Asia Ocean World is a place full of mystery and wonder. Here, you can fully appreciate the charm of various marine life and experience the magic of nature. Whether it's the mysterious deep sea or the colorful coral reefs, you'll find it unforgettable.
The place was incredibly crowded during the holiday, with long queues. I only managed to visit one small restaurant before I was scared away and went to have lunch instead. I visited once before, outside of a holiday, and it was much less crowded, resulting in a fantastic experience.

Dalian Jinshitan National Geopark boasts beautiful sea-eroded rocks, sculpted over hundreds of millions of years. The scenery is captivating, a place one longs to return to. A leisurely stroll with a bamboo cane is a truly enchanting experience.
I live near Jinshitan, so I can speak for myself! The mountains, waters, and beaches are stunning here—it's a truly worthwhile destination! It's a place I'd love to visit again! I highly recommend it to everyone! It's a must-visit for our family! The small fishing boats add so much color to the ocean! Come and experience the beauty!

It's okay, it only takes a minute or a few minutes to go around. It's quite fast because it's electric and not hand-cranked. Compared with the rowing boats in Suzhou Hangzhou 2030, this one feels average and the scenery is average, worth 15 at most.
I went there during the National Day holiday. There were too many people and it would normally take a long time to queue up. I bought an Express Pass and got on the boat quickly. The scenery at night was nice and it was very beautiful in the early autumn evening!

There are locker rooms on the 1st floor, a water play area on the 3rd floor, two or three kinds of food on the 4th floor, a simple steam room on the 5th floor, a hot spring on the 6th floor, and an infinity pool on the 7th floor. The locker rooms are very clean, with slippers and towels. There are 6 or 7 water slides in the water play area, which are super fun. The wave pool water is also OK.
As expected, once you travel during a holiday, places will be overcrowded. I traveled during the May holiday, so there were many people. However, it was still enjoyable. The grounds seem clean and the lifeguards are very attentive. Would recommend for off season.

I went to the Dalian Lushun Submarine Museum out of admiration, but I wasn't expecting so many visitors. There were lines for tickets and tours, and there were many buses parked nearby, arriving and leaving every now and then. It was packed with people from all over, especially students. It was clear that people were very interested in military and national defense, especially the navy. I recommend buying tickets in advance and arriving early.
Stepping in here, I was instantly shocked by the submarine's "big feeling". Drilled into the submarine's interior, in the narrow space, old instruments and beds lined up in turn, as if you can touch the life temperature of the sailors in the past. In it, listen to the explanation, imagine them sticking to the deep sea, the sense of mission and history come to their faces, the military fan ecstasy, and the shopping is full of respect for the ancestors.

Recording life, sharing beauty, and spreading the positive energy of urban culture. Here, I've achieved seafood freedom! Freshly caught and eaten, fresh, plump, and wild. If you're interested, please contact...
The Dalian Natural History Museum is divided into three floors. Because the second floor displays large whale exhibits, the exhibition hall layout is a bit like a maze. After going up to the second floor, you can enter the exhibition hall from the middle or from both sides of the staircase. It is actually quite interesting. There are also some exquisite sculpture exhibits in the middle of each staircase. 4. After looking around, it seems that the only way to get a free stamp is to ask the front desk on the first floor. You can get a free museum stamp. 5. It is still worth reserving more time to visit the Dalian Natural History Museum slowly, because there are many real specimens, which are really fresh. After visiting, go to the nearby beach.

The Lushun Museum was beyond my expectations. Located in the Taiyanggou Cultural Square in the Taiyanggou Scenic Area of Lushunkou District, the museum boasts a modern Soviet-style building. Two main floors showcase a dazzling array of artifacts, ranging from ancient times to the present day, each one worth a careful inspection. A must-see for any visitor to Lushun.
Entering the museum, the bronzes are simple and the porcelain is exquisite, and the eyeballs are caught in an instant. Follow the explanation of the shuttle hall, listen to the story behind the cultural relics, like dialogue with history. Seeing those treasures through the years, I can't help but marvel at the wisdom of the ancients. After shopping, the cultural heritage takes root in the heart, and the whole person is stained with a few points of elegance.

Take bus 204 to the Lion and Tiger Park to observe animals up close. There are many kinds of animals. They are gentle and have security measures to ensure the safety of tourists. Feeding is not expensive. It is a good experience.
I heard that the park has only been open for a short time and many things are still under construction. There are still quite a lot of them. You can feed the tigers in both the free-range area and the caged area. You can also make an appointment with the ticket office to feed the tiger cubs. It is quite interesting. Children have limited energy, so one or two hours is just right. I will come again next time.
