The park is right outside the subway station. The coral pavilion is on the right side of the main gate. Don't go back. There is a mermaid show in the Polar Pavilion. The time is posted next to the performance venue, so it's easy to miss it if you don't pay attention. I went there on a rainy day, so there were not many people. The sea lion show was outdoors, with a tent for the stands, and the actors also performed in the rain. The little animals were adorable, cute and smart. The roller coaster stopped because of the rain, and I didn't go to the Bird's Singing Forest.
Let's get to the highlights first. The beluga whale and dolphin shows at the Aquarium and the sea lion show at Happy Valley were both very entertaining. The Aquarium had live interaction at the beginning and during the show, and the show had a storyline, leaving me wanting more. The Happy Valley sea lion show also had live interaction, and the sea lions and performers were excellent. Both performers were very hardworking and each had unique skills! The Aquarium and Polar Pavilion didn't have as many animal species as the Sun Asia, nor were they as large as the Sun Asia. Without the underwater tunnel, they weren't as impressive as the Sun Asia! Now let's talk about the things that affected the experience. Even after buying a full ticket, there are still separate pavilions and attractions within the venue, which also affected the experience. The marine animal pavilion had a very limited variety of animals, the coral pavilion didn't have many corals, and some of the tanks were empty. Also, the Bird's Singing Forest is a bit far away, making the walk time and effortless. Taking the cable car would have almost covered the cost of the ticket.

The Dalian Forest Zoo is amazing! The environment is beautiful, like a natural oxygen bar, and there's a huge variety of animals, from adorable giant pandas to mighty lions and tigers. The free-range area is a fantastic interactive experience, allowing you to observe the animals up close. The park is clean, the service is attentive, and the whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable. It's definitely a top choice for a family trip, highly recommended! 👍
It's a good place to bring children to play. There are all kinds of small animals and they can interact. If you bring carrots, you must cut them into small strips, otherwise they can't bite them, and the children may not be able to walk. Everything else is good.

Bangchuidao is located on Binhai East Road. You can see it from a distance in many places. If you want to go to the island, you need to enter the Bangchuidao State Guesthouse. However, there is now an entrance fee to enter the State Guesthouse. When the tide is low, a path will be exposed to get to the island.
Bangchui Island is a national AAAA-level scenic spot in Zhongshan District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Located on the eastern section of Binhai Road, approximately 5 kilometers southeast of Dalian City, Bangchui Island is named after a small island that stands out from the sea 500 meters offshore, resembling a mallet. The scenic area consists of a hotel complex on land, a beach, and Bangchui Island. The island's main peak, 48.1 meters above sea level, is uninhabited. The natural scenery is beautiful: surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side. The north is surrounded by mountains and lush pines and cypresses, while the south faces the open sea and a flat beach. The east boasts a 500-meter-long beach with white, fine sand and clear water, making it one of Dalian's best bathing beaches. The coastal area is also home to seafood delicacies such as crabs, conchs, and sea cucumbers. The Bangchui Island Hotel, built in 1959, was once a summer retreat for national leaders, including Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, and Liu Shaoqi. Chairman Mao's handwritten characters for "Bangchuidao" were copied from a poem by Marshal Ye, and are the only known reference to Dalian in Chairman Mao's calligraphy. Unique architectural style: The island is dotted with seven villas of varying styles. Villas 1 and 7 combine traditional Chinese and Western styles, while villas 2 and 6 are ship-like structures. Villa 3 is Japanese in style, and villas 4 and 5 feature fully Chinese characteristics, with large roofs and glazed tiles, complementing the natural surroundings.

Xinghai Park is definitely worth punching in! The sea view here is superb, the blue sky and blue sea are fun. The amusement projects are super rich, the sea bungee jumping is super exciting, the Ferris wheel can enjoy the panoramic view, and the beach can play in the water. Whether it is a parent-child, a couple or a holiday, you can have fun.
The boss of Dalian has a special love for Xinghai Park. When I was a child, every summer, I went to Xinghai Park to swim was the happiest thing. At that time, there was no Xinghai Bay Bridge, and Xinghai Park was almost a wasteland.

It's worth going. The water here is clear and clean, the landform is unique, there is no excessive artificial development, and it is a pure natural beauty. The setting and ticket price of the scenic shuttle bus are also very humane and convenient.
Dalian Binhai National Geopark is renowned for its unique sea erosion and rock formations. Natural wonders like the Dinosaurs Exploring the Sea and the Aotan Basalt are truly breathtaking, and the waters are as clear as a "jelly sea," making them incredibly photogenic. The park's well-designed trails, combined with suspended wooden planks and observation decks, offer panoramic views of the magnificent blend of mountain and sea. Even on a hot day, climbing up and down the stairs was exhausting.

The scenery at night is beautiful, but there are so many people. It rained when I went there, and it was crowded. I took some photos. The boat was closed, but if you walk along the water city, you will reach Donggang. There are concerts in the evening. There is also a check-in spot on Gangdong Fifth Street where you can take the 201 tram.
Oriental Water City is built with quite unique features. You can walk around during the day. In the evening, many Dalian-style restaurants are open. It is good for dinner, drinks and relaxation. It takes about 10 minutes to take an electric boat. The scenery along the way is still quite beautiful, but the boat is a bit fast and you can't enjoy it slowly. On that day, the full ticket for those over 1 meter was 60 yuan, and those under 1 meter were free but could not occupy seats. I don't know why I could only buy one ticket on Ctrip that day, and the other two were bought on the mini program. Ctrip can adjust this.

Xinghai Square is the largest square in Asia, the light show of Xinghai Bridge, walk with you by the sea. On the evening of early summer, the evening breeze of Xinghai Square is cool, the lights on the cross-sea bridge sway with the wind, the calm sea is not surprised, everything is so quiet and peaceful. Unlike the music fountain, the light show on the cross-sea bridge has no background music, which is instead a dream that can be dreamed in the quiet light. The dream of the seaside is easier to insert wings. It's just that the new snack street in the square is a bit insane.
Free scene, you can see the sea and feed the seagulls, it is worth a visit. We didn't see the musical fountain, but I heard that it will be there every day starting in July. The food stalls nearby are a bit expensive, but the restaurants in the nearby business district are ok

Before checking in at the Dalian Shell Museum, I have visited shell museums in other places. In comparison, I feel that the shell museum in Dalian is richer. There seems to be free explanations at every hour. If you want to listen to the explanations, you can choose the time. The venue is not very small, and it takes an hour to walk around it.
Because it was summer, there were quite a lot of people, which made the experience a little worse. The air conditioning in some halls was not very cool. The exhibits were quite rich. If the environment was improved, it would be nice to walk around slowly.

This attraction is very good. The scenery above is very good. The mountain breeze above is very comfortable. You can see the panoramic view of Dalian in 360 degrees. The transportation to the viewing platform is also very convenient. You can take your family there to better experience the beauty of Dalian.
For those who like to see natural landscapes, this is the best viewing position. You can see both the sea and the city. The ticket to the scenic area is a bit expensive, but you can walk up by yourself, which only takes about ten minutes. The scenery will be more beautiful on a sunny day, with a panoramic view of the cross-sea bridge, Xinghai Square, Fujiazhuang Forest Zoo and part of the city.
