The Yalu River Broken Bridge Scenic Area, located on Jiang'an Road in Zhenxing District, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, stands as a significant historical witness to the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. Built in 1909, the bridge was originally a 12-arch retractable railway bridge. It was destroyed by U.S. bombing during the Korean War in 1950. The remaining four-arch Chinese remnants (944.2 meters long) remain as ruins. The scenic area is a National AAAA-level scenic spot and a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Site. Admission is 30 yuan (adults), with half price for those over 60 and free for those over 70. The area features sculptures of volunteer soldiers, a historical photo exhibition, and a bullet-riddle display area. Visitors can ascend the bridge with their ticket and experience the history of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. Transportation is convenient: take bus lines 105, 121, 128, or 303 to the Yalu River Broken Bridge Station, or walk 1.1 kilometers from Dandong Station.
The Broken Bridge of the Yalu River is located on the Yalu River in Dandong, Liaoning Province. It is the remnant of the original Yalu River Bridge after it was bombed[1]. It is an important landmark building in the Yalu River Scenic Area, a national AAAA-level scenic spot. The Broken Bridge of the Yalu River is the first bridge among many bridges on the Yalu River. It was built by the Railway Bureau of the Japanese Governor-General of Korea and completed in October 1911. In November 1950, it was blown up by the US Air Force. After the war, the four-arch remnant bridge on the Chinese side has been preserved and is customarily called the "Broken Bridge". During the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the Yalu River Bridge took on the transportation tasks of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army crossing the river, supplying military supplies and supporting the front line from the rear. It was selected as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units, national patriotic education demonstration bases and national key construction red tourism scenic spots.

Buying tickets at Hushan Great Wall was a bit of a hassle. You only need to select the number of people going, regardless of the number of people, and you can only select one person's ID. At the entrance, you just need to scan the QR code and enter according to the number of people you've purchased tickets for. It's quite hot every day, so I recommend buying tickets for the scenic area's sightseeing bus at the window. It costs 10 yuan per person. After checking your ticket, you can get on the bus if it's available. If it's not, you'll have to wait a while. If you prefer, you can walk the 500-meter route. If you're unsure about your ability to reach the summit, you don't need to buy the sightseeing bus tickets yet. There's also a ticket office for descending the other side after reaching the summit. The ascent is a mix of steep and gentle, while the descent on the other side is very steep.
Although it was rebuilt on the original site, it is still worth a visit. The ticket price is acceptable. In addition to climbing the Great Wall, you can also see the Koreans on the other side. It is much more worthwhile than the Broken Bridge in Dandong. The only complaint is that it is not easy to take a bus back and forth if you travel by yourself, and the bus back to the city ends too early.

The Dandong warship is the most complete of the warships I've visited. Almost all of its cabins are open, and the original artifacts are preserved. It's definitely worth a visit.
The site is about 10 kilometers from the Broken Bridge. There's a direct bus that takes about half an hour and is very convenient. The bus even speaks Korean, which is a true feature of border cities.
The scenic spot is good and has a strong sense of history. Children can learn about the glorious historical deeds of heroes and martyrs, review the history of the red struggle, and have a good personal experience. You can bring your children to visit!

Overall it was OK, mainly because the cruise ship allowed me to watch the North Korean people up close, which was quite novel. The Broken Bridge at the river mouth was full of history. Standing on the Broken Bridge, I remembered the martyrs in my heart. The service in the scenic area was average, and the performance on Changhe Island was really meaningless, don't go!!! It was a waste of time. I fell asleep while watching it. I also left early.
