I bought the night show and entered the park at 5:30 pm. The battery-powered bicycles were all off duty. A few villages were open, but it was a bit deserted and the show was a bit boring. It might be because there were too few people. The scenery is beautiful and suitable for taking pictures and checking in. I don't recommend it if you want to learn about ethnic minorities. It takes a long time to walk out of the commercial area...
The Ethnic Village, located near Dianchi Lake, showcases replicas of Yunnan's ethnic minority villages and famous buildings. It's a fascinating attraction for travelers eager to explore but short on time. You can take a guided tour by bus, and weather permitting, there are performances. Outside the main entrance is a commercial district offering dining and drinking opportunities.

As the first national park, it retains a relatively primitive environment (woods, lakes, wetlands), but it is not much developed. Just hike along the lake and slowly feel the nature. The price-performance ratio is not high, but other things are good.
The hike was about 3 kilometers long. The guide accompanied us throughout the whole process and was very patient. We saw beautiful scenery, picked wild strawberries, found many magical mushrooms, visited herders' homes, tasted yogurt, squeezed yaks' milk, and made butter tea. The children were very happy.

The battery car is worth taking. After all, it is so far. The rare animals in the front are okay, but the African Park and other places are far away. It is much easier to take a ride.
My favorite thing is the interaction with the squirrel monkeys. It is the first time for me to interact with squirrel monkeys since I was a child. I also played with my children. It was so interesting. If nothing else, I really want to raise one. It is so cute. The bears here are very smart. The breeder said that the brown bears can already touch porcelain. They are so cute. The Sun bears are also very interesting.

A must-do for students! A summer trip with my college roommates. Great value! The virtual space, glasses-free 3D, is a novelty and high-tech experience, and the photos are stunning, especially the roller coaster scenes. Handmade lacquer fans are a creative way to decorate your dorm. Guozhuang dances are a great way to de-stress. Savor cheap eats at the snack street. And then there's the ethnic disco—super value!
The college students had a blast! The haunted house on the ancient trail was thrilling, and roommates worked together to complete the levels. There was even a claw machine at the exit, and my roommate and I each caught one. It was a blast! The ethnic flash mob dance was vibrant, and the actors were incredibly beautiful and handsome. We worked up a sweat. At the Dawa Village outdoor campground, we ordered drinks and snacks, chatted, and reminisced about our youth. Great value, highly recommended!

The best place to get to know a local is through a museum. Yunbo Museum is right next to Guandu Ancient Town. We went in the morning and it was quite crowded. Our tour guide said it was even more crowded in the afternoon, probably because many people visit Yunbo Museum before heading to Guandu Ancient Town.
The guide was very good! He covered six historical museums in two hours and covered almost all the important cultural relics. Yunnan's historical relics are very interesting. I benefited a lot and will come again next time!

Nighttime tickets are cheaper, but wait times are shorter than during the day, allowing for a wider range of attractions, and the Torch Festival is also lively. The park's design reflects strong ethnic characteristics and cultural heritage. Objectively speaking, annual passes are relatively inexpensive, and for families traveling with children, you can rent very affordable B&Bs (over 1,000 yuan per month, or under 100 yuan per day), perfect for both study and leisure activities. However, the planned location fails to fully leverage the unique character of Dianchi Lake. Due to its locational constraints, its food, living facilities, and transportation are inferior to those of the main urban area. For example, the local economy (Jinning District) may be problematic. The road between the main urban area and the park is unlit early in the evening, and the road is uneven in some areas.
Adults can bring their children to play, and both adults and children will have a lot of fun. It is impossible to play here in one day. The food inside is relatively expensive, so it is best to bring some food with you. Some areas may be slightly cheaper, but generally it is more expensive than outside. Don't buy raincoats outside, as the water activities inside are all free. When I left, I took a picture of the beautiful sunset, which was very photogenic. It's a pity that I didn't get to play many activities with my baby, but the older children didn't want to leave after having so much fun.

The scenery is beautiful, but there's some traffic. Traffic jams happen because some people think they're smarter than others and skip the line, overtaking from the side lanes and blocking oncoming traffic. I've taken photos of these cars skipping the line and exposing them, hoping to foster public scrutiny and promote social progress. We can't always let those who skip the line take advantage while those with public morals suffer.
This is the location mentioned in Chairman Mao's poem "The Long March." "The Five Ridges wind like gentle waves, the Wumeng Mountains are majestic and majestic, rolling in the mud." The great man's words are imbued with revolutionary passion. Back in 1935, at a time of national crisis, a group of Red Army troops, filled with revolutionary ideals to transform the world and build a new China, began their journey in the mountains of Jiangxi and Hunan. They were then forced into the Long March by counter-revolutionary encirclement and suppression. Eighty years ago, in today's peaceful times, have become a beautiful sight before our eyes. The hardships endured by the Red Army have become the roads we now face, the natural barriers we face now, and the world has been transformed! Arriving at the Wumeng Grassland, we'll find farmhouses and hotels along the way, each with its own cattle and sheep slaughterhouse. Herds of cattle and sheep abound, leisurely grazing amidst the blue sky, white clouds, and verdant mountains and clear waters. Here, too, there are groups of horseback riders and herders grazing their cattle. Galloping on horseback through the alpine meadows was such a joy... The road winds along, filled with seas of clouds, mountains, horses, cattle, sheep, and people unfettered by their own freedom, as well as tents and RVs of all colors. There are also campsites and people trekking up the canyon. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the people taking photos and checking in admirably embellish the beautiful scenery, a true reflection of the people's yearning and pursuit for a better life! The road may be long, but the journey will eventually lead to the destination! We also rode the bus through the rolling hills, letting our eyes take in the scenery and our hearts wander freely. Someone played "To the Clouds," which was perfectly fitting! Everyone sang and sang, taking in photos and checking in on the Cloud Plank Road. Occasionally, cattle and sheep would approach, unfazed. Many people drove along the mountain roads, but some cars unfortunately got stuck, causing traffic congestion in some sections. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. Just one moment, the sky was clear, then suddenly it was overcast. From time to time, clouds would blow in, and then a moment later, a steady rain would fall... Perhaps this is the beauty and magic of the Wumeng Grassland. It's said that around 4 p.m., the Tyndall effect occurs, where sunlight scatters through clouds. If you're lucky, you might even witness the Buddha's light shining brightly. Due to time constraints, we didn't see it. We continued on our journey, passing through lush green mountains and clear waters, and then walked a long, poorly maintained road before reaching the Beipanjiang Bridge, said to be the world's tallest bridge at 600 meters. This is a great victory for our country's infrastructure, and it's a testament to the fact that mountain dwellers have transformed natural barriers into accessible roads, no longer feeling overwhelmed by the sight of mountains.

I went on August 13th and waited in line for the cable car for an hour and a half. It was unbearable 😣... I bought my ticket on Ctrip. Remember, I must go to the cable car ticket window to get my paper ticket before lining up!!! On a sunny day, the cable car offers a stunning view of Erhai Lake in Dali. There's a very high section, so those afraid of heights should keep their eyes closed. The one-way trip takes about 15 minutes.
Cangshan Mountain in Dali is so beautiful! The Gantong Cableway is great value for money. Along the way, you can see the Cangshan pine forest and overlook Erhai Lake. It's spectacular! The squirrels on Cangshan Mountain are so fat and love to eat potato chips 😁

Cuihu Park is a famous park in Wuhua District, Kunming City. It is one of the parks that local people like to visit. The park has a beautiful environment, a cool and pleasant climate, and lush greenery. It is suitable for family outings, vacations, camping and other activities. Dining and accommodation are convenient in the surrounding area, and the prices are not expensive. It is very affordable and cost-effective. After visiting this park, you can also go to the famous Dianchi Lake, where the environment is also very good.

You absolutely have to drive to Asili West Second Terrace! Bring snacks and sunscreen. We went in early August, so a thin shirt and pants and a vest were enough (also a shawl). Horseback riding costs 20 yuan, so take your time to bargain.
There were so many cars driving here that it took 30 minutes to queue up to get into the service area. The area was also packed with cars, so traffic was slow. Except for the wave road, where staff were directing cars, they let them through one by one, allowing me to experience the feeling of the waves. The scenery was still spectacular, but there were a lot of cars.
