Next to the Jinsha Cableway station is a scenic spot called San Die Gui (Three-Tiered Turtle). There were quite a few tourists that day, and I waited in line for about 30 minutes at the cableway station. The staff were friendly. The cable car can accommodate 8 people and the descent is fast, quickly reaching the destination. At the cableway exit, there are many free food samples and local snacks for sale. I bought some water chestnut cake but didn't find it particularly special. There is a free shuttle bus to the Gangshou Cableway station.
Advantages: The scenery along the grand loop is beautiful, the difficulty level is moderate, the signs are very detailed, and the trails are excellent.
Disadvantages: There are too many touts in the Jinsha area, the ticket gates don't check lighters, and smoking is allowed in the scenic area—there are even designated smoking areas (of course, smokers will smoke while walking). These two aspects made for a poor experience.

The air is fresh and the scenery is pleasant. A hiking trail has been built along the mountain stream in the park. Strolling along the mountain hiking trail, the stream beside it is clear and transparent, sometimes leaping with joy, sometimes quiet and peaceful, and you will forget the hustle and bustle of the city in an instant. However, it is under construction now and is only suitable for self-driving tours.
I went there during the National Day holiday in 2021. For the surrounding popular attractions, there should be fewer people so that I can enjoy the scenery. I brought a child and bought two tickets. When I arrived at the gate of the scenic spot to exchange tickets, the staff asked me to return the child ticket and scan the code to enter the registration information scenic spot. The epidemic prevention work is good.
Self-driving is a must, because after entering the gate, you have to drive about ten kilometers of winding mountain roads to get to the scenic spot. The road is a bit like the Eighteen Bends of Lushan Mountain. People who are carsick bring their own medicine. But I know that the original scenery is in the depths of the mountains. This is my feeling of often going to climb mountains.
The mountain is called Damao Mountain, and the scenic spot is called Wufeng Cave. It retains the original breath of the mountains. There is not much commercial development. The mountain cannot be climbed. It is just walking at the foot of the mountain. It is suitable for bringing children and the elderly to breathe fresh air, look at the lake water, and cleanse the soul.
Drive the car to the entrance of the scenic spot and take a sightseeing bus to go in. There are about four or five small attractions inside. The lake water is green and the trees are lush. In the dry season in autumn, the waterfall is dry. It is said that there are red maple leaves in late autumn. I really want to see it.
It is not as magnificent as Wugong Mountain, Mingyue Mountain, Lingshan Mountain and the like. I like climbing mountains and my children like playing in streams. Choose a warm day and bring your family to experience the fun of nature.
