The Dubrovnik City Walls are a medieval defense miracle! As the filming location of King's Landing in Game of Thrones, the nearly 2-kilometer-long city wall tightly surrounds the old city. Strolling along it, you can see the ancient city with red-tiled roofs on one side and the blue waves of the Adriatic Sea on the other. In the morning, watch the sun set the city wall with a golden edge, and in the evening, watch the sunset dye the sea surface amber. With a score of 4.7 and 156 reviews, it is worthy of being the No.1 must-visit in Dubrovnik. Every step is like flipping through the heavy epic of the Middle Ages. The park opens at 08:00. Don't miss the magic moment of light and shadow✨
Beautiful, walk the whole length of the wall for 360 views of the gorgeous red brick rooftops! Would recommend

The free-to-open Old Town of Dubrovnik is a living medieval museum! 4.4 points, 72 reviews, the cobblestone road connects the Pile Gate, the Cathedral, and the Catalan Avenue. It is a check-in spot for tourists during the day and a place for locals to live at night. Don't just chase the same style as "Game of Thrones", go into the alleys to find the handmade olive soap sold by the old lady, and watch the locals basking in the sun in the seaside cafe for an afternoon. The soul of the old city is hidden in these fireworks details. It is on the list of water play and summer vacation, because even the sea breeze brings a comfortable factor🌊
You definitely need to check in at Buza bar, on the cliff, facing the sea The main check-in point for the 40-euro ticket for the city wall, it takes about 2 hours to walk around, passing by Buza bar The Internet-famous restaurant at the east gate, the same group at the west gate, and the top of the mountain are all worth checking in, the food is OK, and the price is not expensive Remember to buy the ticket at the cable car when you go up the mountain. I saw a 2-euro handling fee for buying a cable car below, which is the money for an ice cream

You don't need to buy a separate ticket for the fortress. If you buy a ticket for the city wall, it is included. It is not far from the Pile Gate. Below is the old pier, the famous filming location of Game of Thrones. The fortress is not very big, but it is still nice to walk around and see the scenery. See the old city of Dubrovnik from another angle.
The fortress is located at a commanding height by the sea, and its location is strategic. Cannons, stone bombs and other old defensive weapons are all there. The steps to the hill and the stairs inside the fortress are quite steep and a bit strenuous, but the view from the fortress is nice. There is a performance of "Hamlet" every night in the warm season. There are few seats and tickets are very popular. Be sure to buy them online in advance.

The cable car station is located at the foot of the mountain outside the north gate of the old city. There is a huge cross on the top of the mountain, which was originally given to Dubrovnik by Napoleon. It was later destroyed in the war. What stands there now is a replica.
If you want to have a panoramic view of the old city, Mount Said is a rare good place to go. You can take a cable car to the top of the mountain. But driving up the mountain is the best way to get a better view and perspective along the way.

When I got up and opened the balcony door, I realized that the dark screen I could not see when I checked in last night was the blue Adriatic Sea. Up the old city wall, the monastery that climbed the wall last night was at the foot, and the whole old city was in full view. 5,6 is a proposal cafe. If a man fails to propose, he has to jump off the platform into the sea. It seems that multi-skill is still very important. The cantilever structure of the city wall is like this.
Rent a speed boat for a half-day trip to the Adriatic Sea. The boat was sailed by a local lad who had been happily taking us to the hot beaches and some clear water bays. Most of the beaches are rock beaches, so rare beaches are even the hottest beaches in the area. The water in the sea is very clear, but there are no fish because the water temperature is high and the fish are hiding in the deep water. In fact, the weather is very comfortable about 28 degrees, so sunshine on deck is the most comfortable, thighs are not (teeth).

Dubrovnik Cathedral is a typical Baroque building, also known as the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Its appearance is extremely magnificent, and its towering dome can be seen from a distance. It is also one of the landmark buildings in the old town of Dubrovnik. The dome inside the building is very high, and the lighting effect is the best among the churches in the old town of Dubrovnik.
The Roman Catholic Cathedral of Dubrovnik is the cathedral of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Dubrovnik. The exterior of the church is majestic and the interior is decorated with religious paintings from different periods. The church treasury houses priceless art treasures, the most valuable of which is the "Assumption of the Virgin" painted by the famous Italian painter Shanti in the 15th century.

The Pile Gate is the main entrance to the old city. Whether it is a group of tourists or backpackers, they all take this as the first stop in the old city. Take bus 1A or 1B at the entrance of Dubu Bus Station and arrive here in 20 minutes. Today, the moat outside the city has long dried up and has been transformed into a small green space, which has become a good place for children to play. [Scenery]
Peller Gate is one of the main entrances and exits of the old city of Dubrovnik, located in the west of the old city. The Outer City Gate was built in 1537 with a statue of the city's protective sacred Blaise above it. After entering the outer city gate, through an arch bridge to the inner city gate, the inner city gate was built in 1460 and connected with the city wall. Visitors can go to the city wall to see the old city.
