Ghent is a very beautiful city. Everyone must come and experience the air. For those who like privacy, I recommend coming very early in the morning or around 20:00. On Sundays, there will not be many people and it will be convenient to take pictures without people because during this time, everyone is not awake yet and everyone has gone home. The Ghent Museum of Fine Arts is the largest museum in the city. The museum is quite good, with many artworks, including many paintings and fine arts. Many of the things are very good.
If you are interested in art, then this museum is worth a visit. You could easily spend 3 hours or more walking between the rooms and studying the wide variety of pictures, from portraits, landscapes, religious and still lifes, from artists including Rubens and Magritte. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 1000 am to 1800 pm; admission is 8 euros or 6 euros for seniors.
