Egypt-Giza Pyramids Pitfall Prevention Tutorial 📍【Egypt Pyramids Practical Guide|I was scammed three times on the first day😮‍💨】 Before coming to Egypt, I was mentally prepared: I would be scammed, I would be cheated, and I would meet persistent strangers. But I didn’t expect that I would be scammed three times on the first day! --- ❌ Pitfall 1: I paid for the ticket with QR code but didn’t get the ticket I arrived at the South Gate Ticket Office at 7 o’clock in the morning, scanned the QR code and paid successfully, and the card also showed that the money was deducted, but the system did not issue the ticket, so I had to pay cash again to get the ticket. ✅ Suggestion: It is safest to buy tickets with cash, or take a screenshot of the receipt after booking on the official website for future reference. --- ❌ Pitfall 2: Fake tour guide kidnapped with camels as tickets After entering the venue, a tour guide who looked very "professional" approached me and said sincerely: > "You can only take photos outside with this ticket. You have to pay extra to enter, or take my camel to enter." I was skeptical at first, but fortunately, after I insisted on refusing, he left. ✅ Reminder: The tickets for the pyramids are valid for the entire area. There are no such things as "internal tickets" or "camel passes". --- ❌ Step 3: The police asked for tips after inviting you to take photos I walked to the six-tower camera position, and a uniformed policeman took the initiative to show me the way, and said that it was okay to touch his camel and take photos with it: I thought, the police should not lie, right? After taking two photos, he immediately came over and said: "Tip, give me a tip! You are a very good person..." ... I had to bite the bullet and give you $1. ✅ Suggestion: "Free" is the opening line of the trap, don't take photos easily before confirmation. --- 🎒 Suggestion summary (very important) ⏰ It is best to enter at 7 am, the weather is cool, the light is beautiful, and there are few people 💰 Cash is the most stable, electronic payment is prone to problems 🧍‍♂️ Taking the initiative to talk, especially asking "Where are you from?" This kind of opening line basically wants you to spend money. 🗣 Please refuse decisively, don't look, don't buy, and refuse politely. 🐪 Camel experience is about EGP 500/hour, tips are not included (remember to bargain) --- Although many people approach me with a purpose, sometimes I feel extremely annoyed. But when I really stand in front of the pyramids and watch it still stand tall after 4,500 years, I still feel an indescribable shock. > The charm of Egypt lies in - it is still irresistible in chaos. --- If you also plan to come to the Pyramids of Giza, this article will give you the pits you have stepped on and the sweat you have shed. Remember to bring reason, sunscreen, cash, and - a little sense of humor.
The Giza Pyramids are the peaks of ancient Egyptian civilization, including the Pyramid of Hofu, the Pyramid of Kafra, etc., with a large scale and excellent architectural skills. As one of the seven wonders of the world, its mysterious history and majestic appearance are shocking. Although some areas are seriously weathered, the overall preservation is intact, and the Sphinx is more mysterious. Visitors generally reflect that the management of the scenic spot needs to be improved, but it does not hinder its status as a must-visit world-class cultural heritage, which is a great window to explore ancient civilizations.

The Egyptian Museum is the world's most famous treasure trove of ancient Egyptian artifacts. It is located in Cairo's Tahrir Square and was built in 1902. The museum contains more than 120,000 treasures, spanning 5,000 years, including the treasures of the town halls such as Tutankhamun's gold mask, the Royal Mummy Hall, and the statue of Kafra. The building itself is neoclassical style, and the two-story exhibition hall is arranged according to the age and theme. Although it is slightly crowded, it creates an archaeological warehouse-like atmosphere. The heritage labeling system is slightly old, but it does not hinder its status as an academic town for studying ancient Egyptian civilization. After the opening of the new museum (the Great Egyptian Museum), it still attracts historical lovers with irreplaceable collection density
🌟The St. George Hall, known as the "Great Golden Palace", is the heart of the Winter Palace. The hall was built during the reign of Catherine II and was used to hold the highest level of royal ceremonies, receptions and imperial meetings. A golden throne is placed in the center, and the double-headed eagle national emblem is on the back of the chair and the back wall, revealing the majesty of the empire everywhere. - 🌟The "Peacock Clock", one of the treasures of the town, stands proudly among the circles of tourists. Although the clock is called Peacock, it actually has four animals: owl, peacock, rooster and squirrel. It is said that every Friday night at 7 o'clock, the staff will wind up the clockwork, and then the golden leaves will shake, the owl will blink, the peacock will spread its tail, the rooster will crow, and the squirrel will jump, recreating the grand occasion of the year. - 🌟Leonardo da Vinci's "Madonna with Flowers" is blooming at the corner of the second floor. The silver anemone touched by the fingertips of the Holy Child oozes blue-purple juice, and the folds of the Virgin Mary are filled with the cold twilight of Florence. The cracks in the four hundred years of oil paint ooze out the scent of the olive trees on the Apennine Peninsula. The vaults of the Raphael Gallery are covered with Russian winter snow, and the grape vines reproduced on the dome are still growing. Among the vines are hidden angels painted by Raphael, and the lyres in their hands condense the tremolo of five hundred years ago.

The Pyramid of Khufu is the largest and oldest of the Pyramids of Giza. It was built in the 26th century BC and is the tomb of the fourth dynasty Pharaoh Khufu. It is 146 meters high and is made of about 2.3 million boulders, with an average weight of2.5 tons per block. The construction process has been a mystery to date. Its internal structure is complex, including the king's tomb chamber, the queen's tomb chamber and the large corridor and other spaces, precisely aligned the astronomical orientation. As the only surviving of the seven wonders of the ancient world, it shows the peak achievements of ancient Egyptian civilization. Although it has stood still after 4500 years of wind and rain, it is an immortal legend in the history of human architecture.
Standing at the foot of the Pyramid of Houfu, I really felt its shock. The stones are huge and the structure is tight, and there is a small awe when looking up. The entrance passage is narrow and deep, and the air is dull, but the curiosity about ancient Egypt is also stronger after the layers of depth. Although the interior decoration is not complicated, the wisdom of the whole building is amazing. Standing on a high point, the yellow sand and the pyramid intersect into a primitive magnificent beauty. It is a memorable thing to see this world miracle with your own eyes.

Khalili Market is the most legendary Arab traditional market in Cairo, and has been an important trading center on the Silk Road since the 14th century. The maze of narrow lanes is lined with gold and silver shops, spice stalls, handicraft workshops, copper lamps, papyrus and other specialty products. The Fisharvi Café in the core area (founded in 1773) still retains the tradition of gathering Arab literary artists, while the stained glass and mosque minarets under the market dome form a unique Islamic picture. Despite the obvious commercialization and the need to be vigilant against high-price traps, the noisy bargaining noise, the air of mint tea and spices still make it a must-visit place to experience Egyptian culture.
💟The Khalili Market in the old city of Cairo is one of the most representative traditional markets in Cairo. It is also one of the oldest and most prosperous markets in the Middle East. Its history can be traced back to the Mamluk period in the 14th century. It is a must-visit souvenir shopping destination for tourists. Khalili at night is more comfortable than during the day, at least it is not so noisy. I guess the vendors are tired after shouting all day, and no one really comes forward to sell, which is much more worry-free. 💟There are a wide variety of handicrafts here, such as brass lamps, gold and silver jewelry, gem necklaces, glass lamps, spices, papyrus paintings, shell inlaid wooden boxes, perfumes, etc. Regardless of whether they are from Yiwu, they are still very Egyptian. Especially the souvenirs from the Pharaoh period, such as Pharaoh statues, amulets, scarabs, Ankh crosses, etc., are almost real. 💟Textiles are also best-selling items, such as scarves, bed sheets, etc. The Arabic style patterns are quite beautiful. Remember to look for the "100% Egyptian Cotton" label. Some tourists also buy traditional embroidered robes Galabeya, which are essential for taking photos. 💟There are many shops here, and you can find a lot of treasures by walking through the streets and alleys. Some small shops on the second floor have much higher prices. However, it is still recommended to compare with domestic platforms, some are really much cheaper in China.

The Military Museum in Saladin Castle🏰 allows you to learn about the military culture from ancient Egypt to the present day Egypt🇪🇬. If you buy a ticket to Saladin Castle🎫, you can enter the Military Museum inside the castle for free (note: there is a hidden small museum in the Military Museum where staff sell tickets, and you need to pay to visit). The entire castle building exudes a strong Sultan Ottoman atmosphere, which is definitely worth visiting here!
In the long river of history, Saladin Castle stands quietly there as a witness, its existence is not only the accumulation of buildings, but also the precipitation of history and the continuation of culture. Whether it is the first ray of sunshine in the morning or the last sunset in the evening, it seems to be putting on a mysterious veil for the castle, attracting people to explore the story behind it.

Luxor Temple is a must-visit for anyone exploring Egypt’s ancient wonders — a remarkably preserved open-air site in the heart of Luxor that reflects over 3,000 years of history. From the towering statues of Ramesses II to the Colonnade of Amenhotep III and the still-functioning Abu Haggag Mosque built atop the ruins, every corner blends ancient power with timeless beauty. 🎫Entry is 500 EGP (payable by card), and it’s best to arrive before the midday heat. If you're flying in from Cairo, a same-day trip is completely doable. 🚕Uber from the airport costs around 60–70 EGP, but taxis are more reliable when heading back — expect to pay 80–100 EGP. Plan for at least an hour to explore, wear comfortable shoes, and don’t miss the Avenue of Sphinxes at sunset.
The history of the temple of Luxor is shocking, as if every stone tells the story of a thousand years. Bathed in the glory of this history, I am deeply attracted. It is not only a miracle of architecture, but also a witness to time. Every time I approach, I can feel the weight of history and the depth of culture. Here, I have experienced the charm of history and the greatness of human civilization. Whether it is the exquisite details of the building, or the solemnity of the overall atmosphere, it is awe-inspiring. The temple of Luxor is indeed a pearl of human civilization.

It was quite hot, and there was no place to hide from the sun. I wonder how much manpower it took to dig out such a large-scale group of pharaoh tombs in such a difficult place thousands of years ago... It's worth a look, but to be honest, it's a bit expensive. The ticket only includes 3 tombs. If you want to see more, you have to buy more tomb tickets at your own expense, which is really not very user-friendly. The tombs are dry and painted with mineral pigments on the stones, so they are well preserved and colorful.
The Valley of the Kings, the name evokes memories of ancient Egyptian pharaohs and their magnificent mausoleums. This canyon on the west bank of the Nile is a burial ground for pharaohs and nobles during the New Kingdom of ancient Egypt. It is buried with numerous pharaohs, including the famous Tutankhamun. With its rich historical and cultural values, the Valley of the Kings attracts visitors and scholars from all over the world to explore and research.

I just visited the temple of Abu Simbel, a heart-shaking experience. The grandeur and mystery of the temple deeply attracted me, making me feel like I was crossing the glory days of ancient Egypt. Standing among these historical relics, I felt the flow of time and the greatness of civilization. Every stone and every mural tell the story of the past, which is awe-inspiring. It is not only a tourist attraction, but also a vivid history lesson. For tourists who love history and culture, the temple of Abu Simbel is definitely worth a visit, its charm cannot be fully expressed in words, only by personal experience can it be deeply felt.
One of the greatest and most well-known architectural art temples in ancient Egypt. There are rich colorful murals and exquisite colorful sculptures. It is magnificent and breathtaking. It is the oldest and most precious artifact in the history of ancient Egypt.

It is well worth a visit. The Karnak Temple is probably the largest existing temple in Egypt, at least the largest open-air one. It is well worth a visit to feel the imposing manner of the huge stone pillars.
I recently visited the Karnake Temple, a breathtaking historical monument. The scale of the entire complex is awe-inspiring to the greatness of ancient Egyptian civilization. Each stone pillar and every stone monument are depicted with fine patterns and hieroglyphics, reflecting the high artistic and architectural skills of the ancient Egyptians. Walking between these historical monuments, it seems that you can travel through time and space and feel the glory and mystery of ancient Egypt.

The Sphinx is an Egyptian cultural heritage, located in the pyramidal tomb area of Giza, Egypt, and the avatar is said to be shaped by the portrait of ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Havra, and there is also the view that Regidev was built according to the portrait of his father Khufu. This image is 20 meters high and 57 meters long. If the two front claws are counted, the total length is 72 meters. The face is about 5 meters long, the width is 4.7 meters, the nose is long 1.71 meters, the mouth is large 2.3 meters, and the mouth is large 1.93 meters. It wore a Nemes crown, a fan-shaped Names headscarf on both ears, a sacred snake relief engraved on the forehead, a monarch's logo on the jaws - a drooping long beard, a collar around its neck, and a feather pattern of eagles dressed in a sphinx.
The Sphinx stands quietly on that ancient land, full of mystery and majesty. Its huge body is built of hard stones, and the human face and the lion's body are cleverly integrated, as if telling the long-standing story of ancient Egypt. After years of baptism, although it is a little mottled, its unique shape is still clearly recognizable. It carries the ancient Egyptians' beliefs, respect for gods, and many fantastic legends. It is like a silent guardian of history, witnessing countless changes. Every time you gaze at it, you can't help but fall into reverie and immerse yourself in the deep and charming historical atmosphere.
