The National Museum of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa houses the famous Lucy fossil, ancient artifacts, and Ethiopian art. Though small, it offers deep historical insights. Some exhibits need better maintenance. Worth a visit!
The National Museum of Ethiopia is a must-visit for history and culture enthusiasts. Home to the famous fossil "Lucy," it offers a fascinating glimpse into Ethiopia’s rich past. The exhibits showcase ancient artifacts, royal treasures, and stunning art collections. Though some sections need better maintenance, the museum’s wealth of historical and cultural heritage makes up for it. It’s an insightful journey through Ethiopia’s civilization, from prehistoric times to modern history.

The Holy Trinity Cathedral is an important religious site in Ethiopia. It was built in the early and mid-1900s. The former King of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie and his wife are buried here. The black granite mausoleum in the church is worth seeing. The church has a special tour guide to explain, there are scheduled hymns every day, and sometimes alms are given to the poor. The exterior of the church is very beautiful and suitable for taking pictures.
The Holy Trinity Cathedral in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, is the largest church in Ethiopia. The church has a distinct colonial Baroque style and is very beautiful. The stained glass in the church is colorful and depicts many classic stories from the Bible. This church has a lofty status in Ethiopian Christianity, so you must visit it.

In Africa, in Ethiopia, on the African plateau, this country is full of plateaus, the weather is cool and the climate is pleasant. It is a very beautiful country. Looking around, you can see many African baboons playing in groups.
A green location.. Serene and peaceful, overlooking the booming infrastructure of Addis baba, has some old churches and some traditional shops, a must visit in Addis baba

There are 11 churches carved out of a rocky mountain, which is a miracle in architectural history and a world cultural heritage of Ethiopia. It only takes one hour to fly from Addis Ababa to Lalibela. The ticket is $100, which is a bit expensive. Since you have flown here (the air ticket is also expensive), you might as well take a look. In fact, if you don’t find a tour guide and walk around the town by yourself, you probably don’t need to buy a ticket. All the churches are open-air and you can see them all. It’s better to take pictures outside, there is nothing to see inside. The main theme of the interior decoration is thrifty [laughing and crying R]
The 11 medieval monolithic cave churches of this 13th-century 'New Jerusalem' are situated in a mountainous region in the heart of Ethiopia near a traditional village with circular-shaped dwellings. Lalibela is a high place of Ethiopian Christianity, still today a place of pilmigrage and devotion.

The museum is located in the University of Ethiopia. It is the palace of Emperor Sesis. You can see the emperor's life. He was the last feudal emperor. There are many folk customs objects, including porcelain donated by China, the site of the coup, the big bed he lived in, the clothes of the short emperor, the imported washbasin bathtub, the office desk... It has richer exhibits than the National Museum and is worth seeing! ! ! Note: The ticket price is 200 birr...
The Addis Ababa National Museum is a comprehensive cultural museum that introduces the Ethiopian nation. It houses folk utensils from many tribes, as well as archaeological discoveries, as well as some local animal and plant specimens. It is the best place to fully understand Ethiopia and is definitely worth a visit.
