The private villa of the Boboli family, a legendary Italian family, covers a huge area and is also a very nice garden landscape in the old town. Many people are maintaining it here and you can visit it from the outside.
The Boboli Gardens are the private gardens of the Medici family, the most prominent noble family in Florence. They are located on the south bank of the Arno River. This was the place where the Medici family received guests and rode horses. This Roman-style garden is very large, with many hiding places such as woods, mazes, and rockeries. It leads directly to the Pitti Palace. Therefore, in Dan Brown's novel "Inferno", Professor Langdon was chased and jumped over the wall from the nearby Academy of Fine Arts to hide in this garden. Since tickets are required, I did not enter the garden, but took a detour down the mountain to the Pitti Palace.
