Both tickets included Gulangyu Cultural and Creative Ice Cream, but it wasn't included when the actual itinerary began, and no one explained. Are they bullying tourists? Oh wow! We took the boat on September 18th, and it was incredibly crowded. There were two decks, and those who got seats first had their view of the sea blocked by those without. It was ridiculous. The arrangement wasn't very reasonable. It was a very hot 33 degrees Celsius. I recommend taking the early or late tickets for a better experience.
The organ performances at the Organ Art Center and Bagua Building are well worth seeing. The staff's explanations are very interesting, and the organ performances are also very impressive. The huge instrument has a wide range of sounds. Sun and Moon Rocks offer a panoramic view of Xiamen and are also very beautiful at sunset.

Xiamen, located in Fujian Province, China, is known for its beautiful beaches and modern cityscape. But beyond these, Xiamen also boasts a captivating botanical garden. A botanical lover's paradise, the garden boasts a diverse array of plants, from rare tropical flowers to uncommon trees.
Absolutely amazing! Absolutely amazing! Absolutely amazing! Northerners must see it! 👀! The araucaria forest lawn, planted by national leaders, is incredibly photogenic! The succulent world boasts a variety of saguaro cacti and prickly pear cacti, and the desert environment makes for stunning photos! It's just incredibly hot! 😅 The rainforest world is also fantastic, with a riot of tropical plants, it feels like entering a secret rainforest. The ginger world is also very interesting, though not ginger-related, but filled with various bananas—traveler's palms of all sizes, tall and short. The flowers are beautiful, and the photos are great too. Best of all, it's less crowded and more relaxing! The vine world leads directly to the back of Wufeng Mountain (Nanputuo Temple), making it a seamless journey. Climb to the top and then descend to the temple. Be aware that there are no supplies along the way, so be sure to buy water and food at the botanical garden before climbing.

The Zhonggu Cableway is worth a visit. How can you not go to Xiamen when you come to it? There are mountains, sea, and lush green plants. Looking around, you will feel refreshed and happy both physically and mentally.
The Bell and Drum Cableway is a unique mode of transportation that lifts passengers from the ground and transports them along a designated track. This method not only allows visitors to enjoy the scenery but also significantly improves transportation efficiency. The Bell and Drum Cableway operates smoothly and safely, allowing visitors to experience speed while also experiencing comfort and convenience.

[Pingtan Island: The Closest "Blue Tears" Wonderland to Taiwan, a Flavorful Journey Across Mountains and Seas] If you were to compile a list of Fujian's islands, Pingtan Island would undoubtedly earn its place as "special." Not only is it the closest mainland island to Taiwan (just 68 nautical miles), it's also a hidden gem that blends magical nature, quaint fishing villages, and a burgeoning artistic atmosphere. The following is a detailed review based on four aspects: scenery, experiences, food, and practical advice: --- 🌊 1. Natural Wonders: Dreamy Blue Tears and Windmill Sea Blue Tears (April-August only) is Pingtan's signature wonder. At night, the waves glow a faint blue, resembling stars falling into the sea. This is actually a bioluminescent phenomenon produced by the accumulation of Noctiluca scintillans. Beigang Village, Tannan Bay, and Changjiangao are the best spots to observe the tears. While watching for them requires careful attention to tides and weather forecasts, and luck is crucial, if you do happen to see them, it's an unforgettable romantic experience. The windmill fields offer a visual feast during the day. The giant white windmills on Changjiangao Beach and the northern ecological corridor spin in the wind, creating a striking scene against the azure sea and black reefs, giving every shot a cinematic feel. --- 🏘 2. Cultural Customs: Stone Villages and Slow Island Life Pingtan's traditional villages are centered around "stone houses"—gray-brown granite houses dotted between the mountains and the sea, their roofs pressed with stone for windproofing, a quaint and durable aesthetic. Recommended: · Beigang Village: A cluster of stone houses, renovated through artistic means, featuring homestays, cafes, and cultural and creative workshops, perfect for a short stay while enjoying the ocean view; · Maotoukan: A secluded village hidden in a mountain valley, offering panoramic views of the bay from atop a hill; · Dongxiang Island (filming location for "Where Are We Going, Dad?"): Reachable by boat, this village retains its original fishing village atmosphere and is perfect for adventure lovers. --- 🦞 3. Dining Experience: Seafood Extravaganza and Authentic Snacks · Seasonal Seafood: Mantis shrimp (mantis shrimp), swimming crab, clams, and sturgeon rice are freshly caught and cooked. Recommended options include street food stalls in the county town or home kitchens in fishing villages. Blanching or steaming brings out the freshness and sweetness. · Specialty Snacks: · Fortune (Salty Rice): Soft and glutinous on the outside, with a filling of seaweed, seafood, and pork, for a savory and fragrant bite; · Forever: Deep-fried sweet dumplings with peanut and sesame filling, crispy on the outside and runny on the inside; · Eight Treasures Fried Cake: Potato flour and seafood stir-fried for a chewy and smooth texture. · Recommended Locations: Night markets around Haitan East Road in the county town and Longfengtou Beach. --- 📌 IV. Practical Tips: 1. Transportation: Driving from Fuzhou to Pingtan takes about 1.5 hours (the cross-sea bridge is now open). It's recommended to rent an electric car (¥80-100/day) for flexible travel within the island. 2. Accommodation: For convenience, choose the county seat (near Longfengtou); for a more artistic experience, choose the stone-built B&B in Beigang Village. 3. Itinerary: 2-3 days is ideal, with Day 1 covering the northern route (Beigang to Changjiangao to the Ecological Corridor) and Day 2 covering the southern route (Tanan Bay to Houyan Island). 4. Note: Sun and wind protection is recommended in summer (strong sea breezes), while the temperature swings are significant in winter. Blue Tears require nighttime observation, so traveling with companions is recommended. --- Summary: Pingtan Island's charm lies in its "interweaving of wildness and art"—it boasts untouched sea erosion wonders, wild and...
Family, Pingtan Island truly embodies island romance! If you're looking to watch the sunrise, Dragon King Head is the place to go. Watching the sun slowly rise from the horizon early in the morning on the beach is a truly breathtaking sight. Many people set up tents on the beach, creating a truly captivating atmosphere. There are also cultural and creative shops nearby, selling postcards and other souvenirs that are truly memorable and worth buying. Don't miss Houyan Island, too. It's the closest point in mainland China to Taiwan, and admission is 35 yuan per person. There are tons of photo spots on the island, and any photo is truly stunning. It takes about two hours to explore, making it perfect for photography enthusiasts. If you prefer a lively and atmospheric beach, Tannan Bay is a great choice. While it's a bit crowded, it has an open-air cafe and a tatami area. It's a relaxing evening spot to enjoy a drink with friends and soak in the sea breeze. For a quieter, less crowded beach, Yuehai Bay is a less popular beach in Pingtan, with fine, white sand, stunningly blue water, and few people. There's even a swing on the beach, perfect for photos, capturing a refreshing and soothing feeling. Beigang Village boasts Pingtan's most typical traditional stone houses. The village is filled with the charm of everyday life and is a charming little fishing village, though it's now becoming more commercialized. A must-see is the scenic Ring Road, which circles the island, facing the ocean, offering panoramic views along the way. It's a pleasant drive or bike ride. Dalian Island, known as the "Little Santorini of Fujian," boasts breathtaking scenery and is perfect for wedding photos. Every corner is photogenic. However, the area is relatively small, so exploring it in about half an hour is enough. Tickets to Xianrenjing (Immortal Well) cost 21 yuan per person. There are two paths: the upper path leads to the observation deck and Xianrenjing, offering panoramic views of the ocean. The lower path leads to the gorge, where the black reefs exude a unique, austere beauty. Jingsha's black sand beach, also known as "Little Iceland," boasts a unique texture of sand and reef. However, be aware of the high tide times here, as there are sea cockroaches on the rocks. If you're particularly afraid, you can skip this attraction. Xianshui Village is a truly dreamy village, clean and full of life. It feels like stepping into a Hayao Miyazaki anime world. However, there's a 10 yuan fee for taking photos on the village swings. Changjiang'ao, home to a vast sea of windmills, is Pingtan's best sunset viewing spot. Watching the sun slowly sink between the windmills and the sea is incredibly romantic. You can also go fishing here, so if you've never tried it before, give it a try and experience the joy of catching fish. It's truly fun. Beibu Gulf is perfect for photography enthusiasts, with its windmill highway and glass plank road, offering stunning photo opportunities. However, parking can be difficult in the afternoon, so arrive early to secure a good spot. Heping Village, with its fairytale-like town and road leading to the sea, has a truly cinematic feel. You can also witness the romantic sunset glow, making it a perfect place for a leisurely stroll and soaking up the tranquility and beauty of the town. Pingtan Island's attractions are divided into the South Route (approximately one day) and the North Route (approximately two days). On Day 1, you can visit Longwangtou, 68 Nautical Mile Scenic Area (Houyan Island), Tannan Bay or Yuehai Bay; on Day 2, visit Xianrenjing Scenic Area and Beigang Village.

If you are not in a hurry, you can choose a two-day ticket, which is 15 yuan more than a one-day ticket. The scenery is really beautiful, but the attractions are scattered and there is no cable car, which is more strenuous. You must climb Tianyou Peak, and the scenery along the way is very beautiful.
The Jiuqu River rafting is worth going. It takes about an hour and a half to raft. The guy who paddles the raft is very humorous and talkative. In addition to paddles the raft safely and steadily, he also introduces the scenery along the way.

Hulishan Fort, located on Hulishan Mountain in the southern part of Xiamen Island in Fujian Province, my country, is a historic military facility. Built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, it served as a crucial component of China's modern coastal defense. Numerous ancient artillery pieces are on display here, each bearing a rich historical story and bearing witness to Xiamen Island's turbulent history.
The ticket price is 25 yuan per person, which is very cost-effective. I arrived around 10 o'clock in the morning just in time to watch the show. After watching the show, I walked around. The scenic area is very clean and comfortable, and there is a different world inside.

Qingyuan Mountain, a mountain steeped in history and natural beauty, exists like a flowing poem, a long poem telling the story of time. Whether it is the lush trees or the gurgling streams, they all make people feel the vitality of nature.
The Mother Mountain of Quanzhou people, those with average physical strength can take the scenic area bus up and down the mountain. There are food and drinks on the top of the mountain, mineral water is 7 yuan, Baisui Mountain is 10 yuan, if you climb the mountain by yourself, you can play for a whole day

Fujian Tulou, a traditional Chinese residential building, is primarily found in western and southern Fujian Province. This unique architectural style is renowned for its sturdy structure and distinctive design. Typically constructed from loess, wood, and bamboo, Tulou are round or square in shape and possess great artistic and historical value.
In fact, there is no need to go to two attractions. It is enough to go to Nanjing Tulou. I brought an official guide, but it was okay at the beginning. It was not so good when he tried to sell expensive tea in the end.

Tickets are affordable, and the Tulou are quite unique. It's a great way to bring the elderly and children to experience Hakka culture. It's a relaxing experience, and the Fujian cuisine is delicious. I've been to Fujian many times, and each time I find something new.
The two attractions are not far from each other, a 10-minute drive. Electronic ticketing is convenient and fast, allowing you to buy and use tickets as you arrive. Personally, I feel that visiting only one Tulouwang scenic area is enough, as it is very representative.

Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, a historic district that bears witness to Fuzhou's rich history, attracts countless visitors with its unique historical features and rich cultural heritage. Not only are there quaint buildings but also century-old shops, allowing visitors to experience a rich historical atmosphere while strolling through the area.
Strolling through Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, time flows through the streets. Winding bluestone paths and the soaring eaves of ancient houses speak of a millennium of splendor. Behind each carved wooden door lies the memory of Fuzhou's past. The fragrance of jasmine drifts across the saddle walls, and the aroma of tea emanates from the old teahouses. This is a living fossil of history, a source of inspiration for scholars and writers. Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, written in brick and tile, embodies half of China's modern history, transforming every corner into a line of poetry.
