I listened to a special lecture on the historical origins and various situations of the Shenyang Palace Museum. It was quite interesting. The explanation was very detailed and the questions asked were basically answered. I was very satisfied.
We went to the Shenyang Palace and the Marshal's Mansion today. The tour guide was so good. The children listened with great interest. He was very dedicated and great. If we come again next time, I hope to have such a good explanation.

Shenyang Fantawild is a true paradise! The thrilling rides are incredibly exciting, like the Fire Meteor roller coaster, which screams at lightning speed, and the warm and romantic carousel, which feels like being transported to a fairytale. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the experience is fantastic. I highly recommend it!
Fantawild's attractions are amazing! The roller coaster is so thrilling, the 4D cinema is incredibly realistic, the scenery is dreamy and out of this world, and the staff are so welcoming. One day is definitely not enough!

The Liaoning Provincial Museum has a large collection of exhibits, and the explanations are very detailed and informative. I learned a lot from the two and a half hour explanation. I thank the tour guide for his wonderful explanation.
I finally had the chance to visit the Liaoning Provincial Museum, a provincial museum jointly built by the national and local governments. It had been on my wish list for a long time, but I finally managed to pull it off today. Since its relocation to the new building in Hunnan District, Shenyang, the exhibition area has been greatly expanded, allowing more of the museum's collection to be seen, which is definitely a major benefit. I confirmed before the trip that the museum's true treasures were all at home, not traveling or on loan. However, the finest paintings and calligraphy were digitized and displayed in VR, so I couldn't see them in person. The Liaoning Provincial Museum is absolutely not to be missed.

Thanks to the rafting guy who pulled us out and helped me find my glasses. 🙏🙏🙏. The rafting waves were so thrilling. So much fun. The park is so huge. One day is definitely not enough to explore. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The service is great! No words can express my excitement at this moment❤
My kids loved it here, playing from 10 AM to 6 PM and still wanting more. It wasn't crowded the day we went, so it was a great experience. You can order lunch a la carte, and the spicy hot pot and beef noodles were both delicious. The only problem was that towels were only available at the entrance, so you had to walk quite a distance to get a new one...

Pros: The venue is huge, integrating four attractions: a water park, marine animal shows, a beach, and an amusement park. All four are top-notch, allowing you to play all day without getting bored. There's plenty of food, and it's not too expensive. Besides instant noodles and self-heating hot pot, you can bring food with you. The sea lion and dolphin shows were great, but I cried. I wonder what kind of training these animals go through to perform so spectacularly. I can't overthink it... The Ferris wheel was very stable, and my first Ferris wheel experience was a big plus... The rafting and children's rides were both great, I loved them. Complaints/Tips: The facilities are average. For example, there are several changing rooms and bag storage areas, and restrooms are everywhere, but first-time visitors don't ask for directions and often head for the one closest to the main gate. The changing rooms are equally sized for boys and girls, but the girls' section is clearly undersized. I waited in line for nearly half an hour on a hot day. Once inside, there were only hooks and a trash can—not even a stool—making changing extremely inconvenient. The lockers are 40 yuan a day. There's also an outdoor storage area further inside, but I'm not sure how much it costs. The shower heads only work when you're standing upright, and the water only flows for a few seconds. Then you have to hold your head up with foam to find the sensor. It's so annoying... Also, bring your own toiletries; there shouldn't be any shared ones. There were so many people inside that several benches were cluttered with stuff, making it hard to see clearly...

The tide table is very accurate, so be sure to plan your time in advance. The rocks on the overpass road are very sharp, so be sure to wear waterproofs! It's suitable for catching the sea, but be careful with children.
We went during the day, but going at night might be more cost-effective. There were almost no performances during the day, and the food was quite expensive. The architecture was average, with a strong commercial feel, making it feel like I was spending money on a shopping street.

The desert was too hot, and the children were overwhelmed by the heat and almost had heatstroke. The children really liked playing in the sand, including sandboarding. The photos they took were very good and very filmy. The sand socks they bought were a bit expensive, 20 a pair. If you haven't been there yet, you can buy them on Taobao. I didn't do much else. Riding camels and off-road vehicles was a bit expensive, so I won't comment on it.
This desert attraction near Chifeng is well worth visiting. You line up at the entrance to ride the miniature train, which offers stunning views of the desert and lake. The photos are truly stunning. After the miniature train arrives, about 500 meters from the entrance, you can take camel and sandboard rides. My children didn't like camel riding, so we only went sandboarding. They played for a long time, and I did a few as well. It was tiring, but it was fun. It was hot and sunny, and I ended up getting tanned like a charcoal in the afternoon—literally, a charcoal-like color. Afterward, we walked out of the attraction. Overall, the experience was okay, though the ticket price, including the miniature train, is quite expensive (and there are children's tickets available if you buy a separate ticket, but not if you buy the miniature train as a package, which I give a negative review for).

The moment I stepped into the Shenyang Museum, I was enveloped by a strange tranquility. Beneath the soaring dome, light, like a messenger of time, gently shone upon the neatly arranged display cases. Behind glass barriers, the artifacts—gold embroidery on Qing Dynasty dragon robes, charred wood carvings from the Xinle Ruins, and ritual instruments from the Bronze Age—rested peacefully. Meticulously labeled, scientifically illuminated, and temperature-controlled, they evoked a unique museum-like "perfect solitude." As I left the exhibition hall, the setting sun filtered through the vast glass curtain wall, bathing the entire museum in a golden glow. I realized that the true value of a museum lies not in the number of "objects" it preserves, but in its ability to inspire visitors to make the leap from "viewing" to "understanding." History is not a sealed specimen but a memory that needs to be activated. Those glass display cases are both barriers and windows. The key lies in our willingness to unlock them with the key of imagination, allowing the artifacts to breathe again and history to speak once more. What the Shenyang Museum ultimately left me with was not the memory of the artifacts themselves, but the revelation of a method: true historical understanding occurs when the viewer's soul trembles, when the glimmer of the past illuminates the present of our existence through the intermediary of objects.
This trip to Shenyang finally revealed that, besides the Liaoning Provincial Museum, the Shenyang Museum is also a truly outstanding destination. While its collections lag behind the Liaoning Provincial Museum in both quantity and quality, the selection and layout of its exhibits differentiate it from the Liaoning Museum, a testament to the museum's thoughtful approach. The Shenyang Museum's smaller size and smaller visitor numbers make for a more manageable and less tiring visit. The exhibits feature artifacts from the Stone Age, feudal dynasties to modern times, the Qing Dynasty imperial family and its history, and collections from the Shenyang Palace Museum. The Khitan pure gold mask is a highlight among the museum's treasures.

Qianshan, the leading peak of the Changbai Mountain range, is also known as Qianding Mountain, Qianhua Mountain, and Qianduolianhua Mountain. Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong personally visited Qianshan and left inscriptions there. Qianshan's most famous attractions include the Tiancheng Giant Buddha, Jiabian Stone, Tianshangtian, Yixiantian, Yibudengtian, and Wufoding.
I took an 8:00 AM ticket to Qianshan. The hike was a little over five minutes long and tiring. Remember to bring plenty of water; the mountain is quite expensive. We took the Tianwaitian cable car down from the Five Buddha Peak. The cable car is average, with two round-trip trips. If there are a lot of people, the line can be quite long. The scenery is nice, though it can be a bit steep in some places.

I went there in mid-August. It was already popular, but not too popular, and there were not many people. It was a better experience than in the peak season. It is a very rare beach wetland landscape, worth a visit. The ticket price of 88 yuan is still relatively expensive. You can drive in, and the physical requirements are not high.
The scenery is beautiful, but the scenic area is too big. Don't rent a car by yourself. The car is slow and it takes two hours to drive to one scenic area without doing anything else. The public bus is fine. However, if you have mobility impairments or have babies, you can rent one by yourself, which is convenient.
