The Heixiazi Island Tourist Area is located on Heixiazi Island in Fuyuan City, Heilongjiang Province. The island lies southwest of the main channel at the confluence of the Heilongjiang and Ussuri Rivers, covering a total area of approximately 335 square kilometers. The Chinese side encompasses approximately 171 square kilometers of land, with 208.5 square kilometers of territory and territorial waters. It is the easternmost point in China where the sunrise can be seen first.
After its return to my country, Heixiazi Island was developed into a tourist area, currently featuring attractions such as the Wild Bear Park, Heixiazi Island Wetland Park, and the Dongji Pagoda.
The island was originally our territory and was later occupied by Russia. After multi-party negotiations, Russia returned 171 square kilometers. The other two-thirds of the area is still owned by Russia. Russia built an Orthodox church on its side after returning, and we built a nine-story tower. There are three main attractions on the island, the tower, the wetlands and the bear park (more than 130 black bears are raised).

Dongji Square, also known as Sun Square, is located in Heixiazi Island Town, Fuyuan City, Heilongjiang Province, at the confluence of the Fuyuan Waterway and the Ussuri River. It faces the Russian town of Kazakovetsvo to the east across the Ussuri River and borders Heixiazi Island to the north across the Fuyuan Waterway. Covering an area of 36,000 square meters, Dongji Square features the River Mouth Square, the Sun Pavilion, a veranda, a pole marker, a stele, a waterside pavilion, a boundary marker, a four-pole cultural wall, a map of China, a cultural stone at the entrance, a cruise ship pier, and a white marble fence. Every day, the sun rises in front of the pole marker at the easternmost end of the square.
Dongji Square, located not far from Heixiazi Island, is a delta formed by the confluence of the Heilongjiang and Wusuli rivers. It juts out to the easternmost point of China and is known as Dongji. The square features the Chinese character "东," river crossing signs, pavilions, boundary markers, and various other landmarks, creating a distinctive tourist attraction.

High cultural value: The Hezhe Folk Fishing and Hunting Cultural Center in the museum has more than 100 fishing and hunting relics, displaying original ecological fishing boats, fishing gear, animal skins, fish skin clothes, etc., vividly presenting the unique fishing and hunting culture and lifestyle of the Hezhe people.
• The venue design is novel: the exterior of the building is a unique European style, and the live fish hall on the first floor has a dome fish hall and an underwater tunnel. Visitors seem to be in the underwater world and have a novel viewing experience.
• Strong popular science education function: Through text, TV images and other forms, it introduces in detail the living habits, classification, distribution and other knowledge of Heilongjiang fish species, as well as the current situation and future of Fuyuan fishery resources. It is a good platform for understanding fish culture and aquatic ecology.
Disadvantages
• High ticket price: The ticket price of 50 yuan is not cost-effective for some tourists, especially when the tour time is relatively short, which will make some tourists feel that it is not worth it.
• The venue is small: the overall building area is more than 4,000 square meters, and the exhibition space on the two floors is relatively limited. Visitors can usually visit the whole venue in about 30 minutes. The content to see is not rich enough, and the experience of playing needs to be improved.
• Incomplete supporting facilities: There are few rest facilities in the venue, and it is difficult for tourists to find a suitable place to rest during the visit. At the same time, the surrounding catering, shopping and other supporting facilities are not perfect, which brings inconvenience to tourists.
The small Fuyuan City has a small fish museum. The exterior is very beautiful and the interior is not bad.
The museum is quite small, but it is quite interesting. If you like aquatic animals, it is worth a visit if you are already in Fuyuan. You can also visit the riverside park by the way.
