Very satisfied. The terraced fields are beautiful this season. We arrived at the scenic area at 9:40 am and took the shuttle bus to Jiuqu Yunhe. There are three viewing platforms. You can walk into the terraced fields. Then we took Line 2 to Baiyin Valley. We climbed all the way from Kenggen Shizhai to the top of the mountain, and then returned to the foot of the mountain to take Line 2 back to Jiuqu Yunhuan. We then transferred to Line 1 to the visitor service center at the foot of the mountain.
The Yunhe Rice Terraces, which I'd been looking forward to for so long, were finally there! Very nice. The entire scenic area was wonderfully organized, with spectacular scenery, beautiful environment, and excellent service. Highly recommended. It was raining and foggy the day we went to Yunhe. We first visited the Yunhe photography exhibition at the visitor center, then hopped on double-bikes (because of the fog) up the mountain to check into our guesthouse. The next day, around 5 am, we headed to the viewing platform in the dark. The sky kindly cleared up for an hour, and we successfully photographed the golden rice terraces. Kenggen Ancient Village and Qixingdun were also very nice attractions, and the restaurant we ate at had a particularly good ambiance and served excellent food.

Last month I came to Yangjia Creek in Xiapu, Ningde. It is a picturesque place. As soon as I entered the scenic area, I was attracted by the scenery in front of me. Walking along the stream, the water is clear and the streamside is full of green water plants. Occasionally, you can see a few small fish playing in the water. The ancient road by the stream is paved with bluestone, and it seems that you can hear the echo of history when you step on it.
The most amazing thing is Rongfeng Park, where there are the northernmost ancient banyan trees in the world. One of them, the "Banyan King", is more than 800 years old, with a trunk circumference of 12.6 meters, a crown diameter of 51 meters, and a height of 30 meters. The trunk is hollow with 7 holes, which can accommodate several people. The branches and leaves of these ancient banyan trees are intertwined, forming a natural green barrier. The scenery is beautiful, but I was caught off guard and had to climb the mountain again. Don't go during the National Day holiday, it's too hot and there are no trees on the mountain. It was incredibly hot, but the scenery was breathtaking. Tianhu Lake on Yishan Island is truly a hidden gem within an island! After climbing over mountains and ridges, one discovers a vast meadow and a crystal-clear lake hidden at the summit. I was instantly captivated by the wonders of this "Southern Tianshan Mountain." Strolling along the wooden plank path, I gazed upon the rippling blue waters below, the sea and sky blending into one in the distance. The wind rustled the grass, but I couldn't spot cattle or sheep, but I could see the whitewater lapping against the rocks.
The only regret was that the mist partially obscured the ocean view, but it actually added to the ethereal atmosphere. The facilities are a bit simple, but the pristine beauty is all the more captivating. This is a truly off-the-beaten-path hidden gem, a destination that will delight photography enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. It's not peak season in Wuyishan now, so there aren't many people at the various scenic spots. Aside from taking a bamboo raft, which is quite crowded, sitting and watching the Nine Bends is comfortable, the scenery is pleasant, and it's not too hot. The air is filled with the fragrance of osmanthus blossoms, and some tea trees have even started to bloom. Strolling along the paths is a truly relaxing experience.

I drove to Longquan Mountain Scenic Area by self-driving navigation. I started to take the cable car at 8:30. It was very stable when I climbed up slowly. It looked very new. I felt very safe for someone who was a little afraid of heights. Then I took the scenic shuttle bus and got off at Huangmaojiandian. It was early in the morning and there were not many tourists. Now it is the off-season, so there is no need to queue up, which is very powerful. I started climbing. Today's hike was relatively easy. I like the steps here. They are very neatly paved and gentle. It took about an hour to reach the highest peak in Jiangsu and Zhejiang at about 400 meters. I walked and stopped, and the scenery was beautiful along the way. The music festival and sky lantern release during the National Day holiday were definitely worth the price of admission! The moment of releasing the sky lantern was truly breathtaking. To be honest, this place is more suitable for older people. Young people might just want to take a quick photo, but there's not much to it. As a Northeasterner myself, I didn't find it particularly interesting. The park is quite large; a normal visit would take at least 4 hours, as waiting for the sightseeing bus at each stop takes about 5-10 minutes.

This was my husband and I's first time visiting the Tulou Scenic Area. Each Tulou has a different style and history. There are two types of Tulou: square and round, both very spectacular and beautiful. The Tulou Prince is the only one that combines Chinese and Western architectural styles. The Tulou King is the largest and has the most floors of all the Tulou. After the visit, I have a clearer understanding of the materials used in Tulou and its history.
Perhaps the most representative of Fujian is the Yongding Tulou. This remarkable gem of ancient Chinese architecture, its layout and facilities reflect both the influence of Suzhou gardens and the characteristics of ancient Greek architecture, making it a prime example of the fusion of Chinese and Western influences.
