Last year I visited - Phewa Lake in Pokhara, Nepal, is a breathtaking destination that perfectly blends natural beauty and tranquility. Its crystal-clear waters reflect the stunning landscape. Boating on the lake, especially at sunrise or sunset, is a mesmerizing experience. The Tal Barahi Temple, located on an island in the lake, adds a spiritual charm. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, Phewa Lake is a must-visit spot for nature lovers and photographers
Phewa Lake in Pokhara is a breathtaking destination, offering serene waters, stunning mountain reflections, and vibrant lakeside activities. Boating on the lake is a must, with options to paddle yourself or hire a boatman. The view of the Annapurna range, especially at sunrise or sunset, is mesmerizing. The Tal Barahi Temple, situated on an island, adds a cultural touch. The lakeside area is lively with cafes, restaurants, and shops. Whether for relaxation or adventure.

Beautiful scenery, fresh air, great experience and lovely weather! A must to see in ones lifetime if one can.
We were supposed to take a sightseeing flight over Mount Everest, but the weather didn't give us the chance, so we had to go home and board the plane back to India in frustration. As the plane ascended, I noticed that it made a small detour and flew west along the Himalayas. At this time, we found that the kind pilot allowed us to enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Everest, which is unique in the world.

I hiked up in the summer rainy season. It was sunny in the morning and I saw the snow-capped mountains. It rained on the way back in the afternoon. The scenery was beautiful. It is worth a visit. Hiking [from the foot of Phewa Lake to the top of the mountain (snow mountain viewing platform) at an average speed of about 3 hours] Bus (90 Nepalese rupees/trip) to the town (you can transfer to the Fawa Lake bus for 25 Nepalese rupees/trip) Cable car (8 US dollars/one way, 12 US dollars/round trip) Taxi. No matter which way you travel, it is worth a visit. Getting up early and hiking up to watch the sunrise on the snow-capped mountains will give you a different experience. Different altitudes have different scenery. There is a quiet and beautiful, isolated and independent beauty. Especially the scattered villages and rural scenery all the way up to the central part, it feels like the plateau version of Tao Yuanming's paradise. If you have enough time, you can also choose to stay in the mountains for one or two nights. Watch the sunrise and sunset, the rolling clouds, the snow-capped mountains and lakes, the villages, the terraces, and the mountain views. You can also feel the life of the indigenous people of the plateau.
One of the best hilltops in the world with the majestic view of the Annapurna range.

Built in 2000 at the turn of the century, the Peace Tower was funded by Buddhists from Nepal, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Japan. The tower is 115 feet tall and 344 feet wide, divided into two floors. The tower is white and round, pagoda-style. On the four walls of the second floor of the Peace Tower, the golden statues of Buddha Sakyamuni in four stages are molded. The tower is a great viewing spot. The vast Lake Fewa, the dense houses under the mountain, and the snowy mountain view in the distance are fully reflected.
We drove to the World Peace Pagoda. The Chinese characters "Nihonsan Myohoji" were at the entrance. I was confused for a moment, so I searched and found out that the Nepal World Peace Pagoda was built in 2000 at the turn of the century by people from four countries, Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Nepal. The main fundraiser was the Buddhist community in Japan. On the four walls of the World Peace Pagoda, there are statues of the Buddha Sakyamuni in four stages. The first statue reflects the birth of the Buddha under the Bodhi tree in Lumbini, Nepal. The second statue reflects the scene of Sakyamuni Buddha's enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya. The third statue is Sakyamuni Buddha's first Dharma wheel in Sarnath. The last statue is Sakyamuni Buddha's death in Kushinagar. "So there are many Japanese Buddhist elements in the temple, and the style follows the big sponsor🌝 The view of the Himalayas from the height where the Peace Pagoda is located is very good. I met many Indian tourists and was pulled to take some photos. I also hugged and greeted several women in ethnic costumes politely.😊
