The scenery is beautiful, and the environment is very well protected. The scenery is arguably the best for hiking in China. I hiked the Kumgang Trail, and although it was tiring to climb, it was well worth it.

The scenery was beautiful, though there was a lot of fog that day. There was also a wonderful singing and dancing performance by Tibetan beauties and young men. On a clear day, the entire snow-capped mountain is reflected in the lake, which is absolutely gorgeous. Seeing this lake made me very happy.
This scenic area is the most worthwhile to visit in all of Western Sichuan!!! Highly recommended!!! No altitude sickness at all, beautiful scenery, colorful autumn forests and snow-capped mountains in winter – October is the most beautiful month, perfect for taking photos! 📍Route: From Mugecuo, walk downhill. Recommended spots include Yaochi (Medicinal Pond) and Qisehai (Seven-Colored Sea). 📷Photography: Excellent for photos, many interactive spots!! 👍Recommended Activities: Boat trip and foot bath 🚗Transportation: Very convenient, no queues!!! 💡Tips: Ignore the vendors selling things at the entrance. Horse riding is not considered part of the scenic area, choose carefully. The tofu pudding and eggs in the scenic area are excellent value for money and very good for your health; I bought several to eat on the way!!! Next time I plan to come in winter to see the golden sunrise on the mountains!!!

Moshi Park | A must-see on the Western Sichuan Small Loop! A truly exotic experience without any disappointments If you're driving by here on the Western Sichuan Small Loop, I highly recommend stopping here for a stroll; it won't disrupt your itinerary at all! On the contrary, skipping it could leave you with some awkward time if your itinerary isn't fully planned. It's perfect for someone like me who prefers to be on a tight schedule. The most stunning thing is the scenery; it feels like being on a completely alien planet! This unique geological formation is rarely seen elsewhere. From a distance, it might look like just a rocky mountain, but once you step inside, the sense of vastness and wonder is overwhelming. It's a completely different experience from just glancing at it from a distance, and any casual photo opportunity is truly stunning. A word of warning: the park is at a considerable altitude, so those with altitude sickness should slow down and avoid running or jumping. There are short hikes up the park, but they're not difficult and are easily manageable, so don't worry too much about your energy level. Overall, it's a "don't miss it if you're passing by" type of place. It's definitely worth stopping by to experience this unique landscape!
Moshi Park Gray mountains rise in waves Mylonite rocks are barren of grass Stone troughs and pillars are in a variety of shapes Unusual valleys and peaks have a thousand forms Ten thousand swords pierce the sky and pierce the Milky Way Colors change with the seasons The bizarre appearance of the ink-and-wash stone forest An alien planet astonishes the world October 23, 2025, Litang Note: Moshi Park is located in Bamei Town, Daofu County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Due to its unique topography and complex structure, it has been dubbed the "Bermuda of geology" by experts and scholars. Mylonite is formed by the erosion of mountains due to geological activity. These rocks are weathered by water, snow, and gravity, as well as by factors such as humidity and sunlight, gradually forming the diverse and magnificent mylonite stone forest landscape we see today. The stone forest also displays different colors depending on the season, weather, and changes in light and humidity, earning it the nickname "an alien planet."

It takes about 50 minutes by sightseeing bus from the visitor center to reach Camp 3 ⛺️, where you can take the cable car. The entire route is mostly winding mountain roads, and the driver was very skilled. Camp 4 had a lot of snow ❄️, but the sun 🌞 hadn't come out yet, and the surrounding area was shrouded in white fog, making it difficult to see clearly. However, the sun did come out a little bit along the way, and the forest vegetation was still lush and the oxygen was plentiful.
If the weather is good, it's a scenic area that's not tiring despite the expense. The trails are gentle and short, suitable for families, and the scenery is beautiful. Whether you see the snow mountain depends on luck; I didn't see any in rainy or snowy weather, so I can't comment on that. The price is relatively high.

This is my second time visiting Cuopu Valley! Eight years have passed, and although they've started charging an entrance fee, the road conditions are excellent, making it very convenient for those traveling by car. Unfortunately, since this trip was at the end of October, I didn't see any marmots. Eight years ago, I visited in the summer and had a wonderful time interacting with them! The hot spring eggs and corn were delicious; the three lakes in Cuopu Valley are incredibly beautiful and definitely worth visiting again!
It's very convenient to drive there. There were very few people today; we practically had the entire scenic area to ourselves. I don't understand why such a beautiful place is deserted, while Bipenggou is packed with people.

A World of Light and Shadow Xinduqiao: A Poetry of Light and Shadow, a World in Every Frame Tucked away in the folds of the mountains of the western Sichuan Plateau, lies a place: Though not a popular destination, it's hailed as a "paradise" by countless photographers. Unadorned by artificial embellishment, it embraces the most authentic expression of light, shadow, color, and humanity to its fullest potential. This is Xinduqiao. Why is Xinduqiao so worth a visit? 1. A Magician of Light and Shadow, a Photographer's Paradise The core of Xinduqiao's beauty lies in light. Its altitude, climate, and unique topography create a myriad of shifting light. In the morning, mist lingers in the valley, while sunlight filters through the clouds, illuminating the golden poplars, creating sacred beams of light. In the evening, the setting sun paints the landscape a warm golden-red, and the river shimmers with shimmering light. Every click of the shutter creates a breathtaking painting. 2. Picturesque Seasons, Every Step Away - Spring: Melting snow, gurgling streams, and wild peach blossoms quietly bloom along the riverbanks, bringing the first bursts of color. - Summer: Grasslands lushly green, wildflowers abound, yaks and horses dot the landscape, creating a vibrant plateau pasture scene. - Autumn: This is Xinduqiao's golden season. Poplar and birch trees blanket the mountains, a blend of golden, orange, and emerald green, as if God had overturned a palette. - Winter: Snow-capped mountains appear even more majestic, and smoke curls from villages, creating a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. 3. A Gentle Encounter with Kham Culture Beyond its natural beauty, Xinduqiao's cultural charm is equally captivating. A key stop on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, Xinduqiao is home to the simple and warm-hearted Kham Tibetans. Explore tranquil Tibetan villages, visit ancient temples, and immerse yourself in the rich Tibetan culture. At night, you can gather around a bonfire and dance the Guozhuang with fellow Tibetans, experiencing the authentic highland customs. 4. A Soulful Resthouse on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway For many travelers, Xinduqiao is a key milestone on the Sichuan-Tibet South Route (G318). It's not just a scenic spot, but also a warm haven for rest and resupply. Here, you can pause your hurried pace, relax in a hotel at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, and quietly admire the stunning scenery outside the window, gathering strength for the journey ahead. 📝 Travel Tips - Best Time to Visit: May-June (flower season) and September-October (autumn). - Transportation: Self-driving or chartering a car is the best option, allowing for flexible itineraries and the opportunity to stop and admire the scenery at will. - Note: Xinduqiao is approximately 3,500 meters above sea level, so first-timers may experience mild altitude sickness. It's recommended to slow down and drink plenty of water. Also, the plateau has strong ultraviolet rays, so be sure to wear sunscreen. The beauty of Xinduqiao needs to be experienced firsthand. It's not like the overwhelming bustle of a city, but rather like a melodious pastoral song, lingering in your heart without you even realizing it. Would you like me to plan a 3-4-day self-driving itinerary centered around Xinduqiao? I can help you find the main attractions, accommodation recommendations, and daily itineraries along the way.
Xindu Bridge: The dreamy land of western Sichuan, the pure land of washing the soul Just returned from Xindu Bridge, the heart is still shocked by the beauty and unique customs there, can't wait to share this unforgettable trip with everyone. Xindu Bridge is worthy of being called a "photograph paradise". The snow-capped mountains, grasslands, streams and Tibetan villages are perfectly integrated, just like a beautiful picture carefully created by God. In the ten-mile corridor in the morning, the morning mist is lingering, and the sun penetrates the clouds and spills on the grassland and Tibetan villages. The light and shadow change, like a dream. In the evening, the sunset dyed the sky orange and red, and the snowy mountains in the distance shone golden under the embers, and any shot was a blockbuster. The scenery along the way was even more beautiful, and every curve and every grass was full of surprises. Here, not only can you enjoy the beautiful scenery, but also experience Tibetan culture in depth. Entering Jiagenba Tibetan Village, ancient buildings and simple villagers make people feel the unique charm of Tibetan culture. At the Tagong Temple, follow the Tibetans to turn around and touch the Mani stone engraved with scriptures, and the heart becomes particularly quiet. Food is also a highlight of the Xinduqiao trip. The yak beef soup pot must be tasted, the fresh yak beef with the delicious soup, and the mouth is super satisfying. There is also Tibetan yogurt, which is rich in taste, and sweet and sour after adding sugar. The butter tea is also not to be missed, the taste of salty fragrance, and the whole person is warm. In terms of transportation, if you start from Chengdu, you will drive for about 6 hours. The scenery along the way is also great; you can also go to Kangding first and then transfer. However, the road conditions in some sections are complicated and you must drive carefully. The attractions are more scattered, it is recommended to charter a car or follow a group, it is more convenient to explore freely. If you are staying, there are many choices in Xinduqiao Town, and it is best to book in advance during peak season. This time I stayed at the B&B, the room was clean and comfortable, the boss was very enthusiastic, and I could provide a lot of play suggestions. The beauty of Xinduqiao cannot be completely described in words, and only by feeling it yourself can you experience its charm. If you also yearn for nature and yearn for a journey to wash your soul, Xinduqiao is definitely the best choice!

In Danba County in western Sichuan, Jiaju Tibetan Village is like a shining pearl, embedded in the depths of the mountains. In the morning, I stepped on the morning glow and came to this mysterious and beautiful place. From a distance, the Tibetan village is built on the mountain, and the layers of Tibetan houses are scattered and orderly. The red, white and black houses are particularly eye-catching in the sun. They are like elves growing out of the mountains, perfectly blending with the surrounding green mountains and waters, forming a beautiful picture. Walking into the Tibetan village along the stone road, every step seems to be traveling through time. The old wooden doors, exquisite window grilles, and the barley racks hanging on the wall all tell the story of the years. The enthusiastic Tibetans smiled and waved to us, and occasionally we could hear them talking in Tibetan, full of the fireworks of life. I walked into a Tibetan family's home, and the host warmly invited me to taste butter tea and tsampa. Sitting by the stove, drinking fragrant butter tea, feeling the hospitality of Tibetan compatriots, my heart is warm. Through the window, you can also see the green mountains and blue sky outside, like a natural landscape painting. When I left the Tibetan village, the sunset was already setting, and the golden sunlight sprinkled on the roof of the Tibetan village, and the whole village was shrouded in a warm glow. Jiaju Tibetan Village, this poetic land, made me feel the unique charm of Tibetan culture and left me with unforgettable memories.
The scenery here is beautiful. The owner of the B&B where I stayed cooked the food himself, which tasted good and charged a reasonable price. He was very enthusiastic, and the cherries that the owner's wife asked her daughter to send were very sweet.

Yuzixi, a Dreamlike Encounter Above the Clouds Dear family, I recently visited Yuzixi, a place I've been longing to visit. Since returning, I haven't been able to stop thinking about its beautiful scenery, and today I must share my travel experience with you all. Stunning Scenery, Like a Fairyland The scenery of Yuzixi can only be described as "breathtaking." When I reached the summit, the sight before me left me speechless. The distant snow-capped mountains stretched endlessly, shimmering with a sacred light against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds. Mount Gongga, bathed in sunlight, its golden peaks gleaming, seemed like a painting created by nature with the most vibrant colors. At dusk, the afterglow of the setting sun bathed the earth, turning the entire world orange-red. The clouds in the sky seemed to be on fire, multicolored, contrasting with the snow-capped mountains and grasslands, creating a breathtaking scene. I sat quietly on the hillside, watching the sunset slowly descend, feeling the gentle breeze on my face. At that moment, time seemed to stand still, and all my worries and fatigue were cast aside. As night fell, Yuzixi revealed its mysterious and romantic side. The sky was filled with stars, like jewels embedded in the black canvas, dazzling and captivating. I lay on the grass, gazing at the starry sky, feeling as if I were in the universe, accompanied by the stars. Shooting stars occasionally streaked across the sky, and I made many beautiful wishes, hoping they would all come true. Transportation and Accommodation: Advantages and Disadvantages Getting to Yuzixi is relatively inconvenient. We drove there ourselves, starting from Kangding. The mountain roads were rugged and winding, requiring extra caution while driving. However, the scenery along the way was quite beautiful, a unique experience. If you don't have a car, you can choose to hire a vehicle or join a tour group, but you should plan ahead. Regarding accommodation, there are some tented guesthouses available in Yuzixi. The tents are simply furnished but clean and tidy, meeting basic accommodation needs. Falling asleep in a tent at night to the sounds of the wind and insects is a unique experience. However, mountain nights can be quite cold, so be sure to bring enough warm clothing. Travel Tips and Reminders 1. Sun Protection and Warmth: Yuzixi has a high altitude and strong ultraviolet radiation, so be sure to take sun protection measures, such as bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Also, mountain temperatures fluctuate greatly, so regardless of the season, bring a thick jacket. 2. Allow Ample Time: It is recommended to arrive at Yuzixi in the early afternoon to enjoy the beautiful sunset and starry sky. If time permits, you can stay overnight on the mountain and watch the sunrise the next morning. 3. Respect Local Culture: Yuzixi is home to a minority group; please respect local customs and religious beliefs and avoid damaging the environment. Overall, Yuzixi is a very worthwhile place to visit. The natural scenery here is breathtaking, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience the charm of nature. If you also love to travel and explore unknown beauty, then you definitely shouldn't miss Yuzixi. Trust me, once you set foot on this land, you will be deeply attracted and leave with unforgettable memories. #Yuzixi #Travel
Yuzixi One-Day Tour: Encounter the Romance and Shock of the Plateau I have long heard that Yuzixi is a treasure viewing platform in western Sichuan. This time, I finally set foot on this desirable land in person. I took a one-day tour to Yuzixi on a whim, and it really did not disappoint me! 360° Snow Mountain Feast, Beautiful to Speechless As soon as I stepped into Yuzixi, I was shocked by the 360° snow-capped mountains in front of me. The continuous mountains are like giant works of art carved by nature. The white snow tops shine with holy light under the caress of the sun. Gongga Snow Mountain stands tall and majestic. The clouds on the top of the mountain are like a veil, adding a bit of mystery to it; Yala Snow Mountain is no less impressive. Its handsome figure is particularly eye-catching against the backdrop of the blue sky. The pure white snow seems to be the bright starlight sprinkled from the sky, which makes people sigh at the ingenuity of nature. When the sun sets, the scene of the golden mountain in the sun is even more breathtaking. The golden afterglow seems to be carefully painted on the snow mountain by nature. Starting from the top of the mountain, it spreads out little by little, and the whole snow mountain instantly becomes a golden palace. The shocking visual impact makes me stand there, speechless for a long time. I can only keep pressing the shutter of the camera to keep this fleeting beauty. Diverse experiences, there is always one suitable for you Here, there are rich and diverse ways to play. If you like excitement, you might as well challenge yourself to drive up the mountain. The winding mountain road is surrounded by cliffs on one side and magnificent mountain scenery on the other. Every bend is full of unknowns and surprises, but pay attention to safety, after all, the road conditions are a bit complicated. If you want to relax, you can also choose to take a local transfer bus and enjoy the scenery along the way. After reaching the top of the mountain, strolling on the observation deck, feeling the biting wind on the plateau, breathing the fresh air, both body and mind are greatly relaxed. You can also sit on the grass, quietly appreciate the snow-capped mountains, or share interesting things on the trip with other tourists. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. If you are lucky, you can also see a meteor across the night sky. The romance of that moment is enough to be remembered for a lifetime. Intimate suggestions to help you have a worry-free trip However, there are some small regrets for the one-day tour. The time is tight, and there is no way to slowly and deeply feel every beauty here. Moreover, the temperature on the mountain is low and the wind is strong. You must bring a thick coat, hat and scarf, otherwise you will really be shivering with cold. The ultraviolet rays in the plateau area are very strong, and sun protection work cannot be sloppy. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and sun hats are all arranged. In addition, due to the high altitude, it is easy to have altitude sickness. It is recommended to prepare anti-altitude sickness drugs in advance, do not exercise vigorously, and let the body slowly adapt. If you drive there by yourself, it is best to drive a vehicle with a high chassis. The road conditions on some roads are not very good, and it may be difficult for cars to pass. A one-day tour of Yuzixi is a romantic date with nature, and it is also a visual and spiritual shocking journey. The magnificent scenery and unique experience here have made me love the land of western Sichuan even more. If you also yearn for the beauty of the plateau, don't miss Yuzixi!

Beautiful scenery always comes at a price. It is definitely worth checking out. We chose to hike the entire way. On the way, we saw a girl fall off a cliff from her horse's back. It was caused by the horse running out of control. It looked very painful. Friends who ride horses must pay attention to safety and do not do anything that may scare the horse, including throwing stones or water bottles.
This trip to the Yala Snow Mountain completely exceeded my expectations and was an unforgettable journey to the plateau. In terms of scenery, the Yala Snow Mountain is worthy of being one of the four sacred mountains in Tibet. Its main peak, at 5,820 meters, is majestic and imposing. The mountain's shape changes dramatically depending on the vantage point. From Tagong Grassland, it appears shaped like a lotus throne; from Bamei Town, it takes on a captivating crown shape. The crystal-clear Yala Youcuo Lake within the scenic area reflects the blue sky and snow-capped peaks, creating a breathtaking scene. The primeval redwood forest below the snow line, along with waterfalls, meadows, and wildflowers along the way, creates a breathtaking natural landscape, each one worth stopping to admire and photograph. As for the experience, a sightseeing bus provides direct access to the core area of the scenic area, saving considerable energy. For a deeper immersion in the charm of the snow-capped mountains, hiking or horseback riding are also possible. While some sections of the hike are challenging, with gravel roads, the scenery along the way makes one forget the fatigue. As you approach the snow-capped mountains, a sense of conquest and awe for nature arise naturally. Furthermore, the scenic area is less commercialized, allowing you to more fully experience the tranquility and beauty of nature. However, there are some caveats to consider when visiting the Yala Snow Mountain. For example, the plateau weather is unpredictable, with significant temperature swings between morning and evening, so be sure to bring a windproof jacket and warm clothing. Dining options are limited within the scenic area, so it's best to bring energy snacks and drinking water. Furthermore, some sections of the route are at high altitudes, making altitude sickness more likely. It's recommended to prepare anti-altitude medication and oxygen tanks in advance. Overall, the Yala Snow Mountain is a truly worthwhile destination. Its natural beauty and unique plateau charm are truly worthwhile. Whether you're a photography enthusiast, a hiker, or just someone seeking to experience the charm of nature, there's something to discover here that will delight and move you.

Luding Bridge is an important node of the Red Army's Long March. The Red Army broke through the enemy's blockade here and opened the road to the north. Today, walking on Luding Bridge, you can feel the swaying of the bridge. Luding Bridge is in the core of Luding County, the surrounding area is very prosperous, and shopping and accommodation are also very convenient.
Luding Bridge is located at No. 27 Yongshi Road, Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It was built in the 45th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty. Emperor Kangxi inscribed "Luding Bridge" on a monument at the bridgehead. The bridge is 103 meters long and 3 meters wide. 13 iron chains are fixed on both sides of the Dadu River. 12,164 iron rings are interlocked. The entire bridge weighs more than 40 tons. The bridgehead is an ancient wooden structure with a unique style and appearance unique to China. It is now only used as a viewing bridge. It is now a national 4A-level scenic spot.
