Everyone's saying it's incredibly impressive, judging by the reviews. I imagined the Vairocana Buddha to be huge, but it's actually just okay. Everyone, keep your expectations low, haha. I also recommend hiring a tour guide; I can't quite understand the guide using the scenic area's electronic audio guide. The commercial street outside the scenic area is quite well-maintained. I suggest either arriving early to explore the grottoes and then wandering around and eating, or arriving late in the afternoon to visit the night show. They say it doesn't light up until around 7 or 8, so I didn't wait too late.
When we went there, we asked for a tour guide so that we could better understand the historical background. The scenic area was very shocking and not very tiring. It is suitable for all ages. The 5A scenic area is definitely worth a visit.

I started climbing at 4:40, climbing North Peak, Middle Peak, East Peak, South Peak, and West Peak. I took the cable car down at around 5:00 pm. I finally conquered Huashan. What a sense of accomplishment, haha.
First time going to Mount Hua. The scenery is amazing. totally worth the trip. if you are adventurous, you should do a hike up. The cable car at the west peak is much longer and views are better.

I went to both of Kaifeng's two major parks. Wansui Mountain is suitable for young people, while Qingming Shanghe Park is more suitable for children and the elderly. The Jin Dynasty generals are more funny and interactive. The amusement facilities in the Royal Park are free to play unlimitedly. The children are very happy and the actors are very dedicated. They really jumped into the water. The only problem is that the parking is not as friendly as Wansui Mountain. Parking fees are charged. It is recommended to park in Parking Lot 2, which is cheaper.

The opening of the third cable car will make it more convenient for older visitors or those with children. Yesterday, Laojun Mountain was still shrouded in drizzle. The river rushed like a river, and Parking Lot 10 overflowed into a makeshift waterfall. However, I stumbled upon the most touching scene: an elderly man steadily carrying his elderly grandmother through the puddles. The coolness of the rain instantly filled my heart with warmth.
Perhaps the weather favored this celestial mountain, as the weather cleared up today. We rushed early to catch the first-level cable car, where the line was already snaking. As planned, we purchased first-level round-trip tickets and second-level ascending tickets, eagerly anticipating the elevator ride to the Golden Summit. However, we learned the elevator had been out of service for maintenance since March, so we had no choice but to accept this unexpected hike.
Thankfully, the scenic area was considerate, providing a buffer between steep steps with flat, circular paths, giving us, despite our limited energy, some respite. Even more moving is the cleanliness of the area—along the Ten-Mile Gallery, trash cans are available every few steps, eliminating the need to bend down. The slogan on the guardrail, "You throw away, I pick up with my life," is heartbreaking. Witnessing two staff members, alternating between crouching and squatting, wielding long tools to meticulously retrieve a mineral water bottle from the edge of a steep cliff, I realized the pristine quality of this 5A scenic spot wasn't achieved out of thin air.
This Taoist sacred site, the only one to receive the imperial designation of "Famous Mountain Under Heaven," boasts both the ethereal beauty of a golden temple shrouded in mist and the warmth and perseverance of ordinary people. Such a magnificent scene deserves the collective protection of every foot that steps upon it and every gaze that gazes upon it!

Pingyao Ancient City is quite large. There are electric cars (10 yuan per trip) that go from the parking lot at Xiaoximen to the ancient city. There are many of these cars at the entrances of the city's tourist attractions. You need to buy a pass to visit the attractions in the ancient city.
Compared to all the famous ancient cities in China, Pingyao Ancient City can truly be described as a truly ancient city. It retains the features of an ancient city, with its escort agencies, banks, government offices, City God Temple, and Confucian Temple all well-preserved. The only drawback is the lack of signage leading into the ancient city. I wonder if the scenic area is deliberately trying to encourage electric taxi drivers to take advantage of short journeys, but they're taking detours to justify the distance and charge a ten-yuan fare per person. The scenic area also has plenty of clean restrooms, which I commend for their management.

After visiting the Iron Tower, I followed the navigation instructions and walked to the Anyuan Gate city wall. From there, I entered Wansui Mountain, which is located right next to the city wall. Wansui Mountain is a large, modern tourist attraction with diverse functions. There's a children's area featuring cartoon characters, a Chinese Paladin area, a Water Margin City, and an intangible cultural heritage area. The performances are diverse and rich in content. I mainly watched the iron flower show, which was quite impressive, showcasing the fusion of modern and agricultural civilization.
Exit the south gate of Wansui Mountain and head to the Bianhe River ferry terminal opposite the Qingming Riverside Park underground parking lot. Scan the QR code to board the round-trip boat. The tour covers the section of the Imperial River during the Northern Song Dynasty, returning near the Bao Zheng Temple. Along the way, there are many man-made attractions and small performances. Because of the rain, the night market at the Bao Zheng Temple was closed, so I returned without getting off the boat.

I stayed in Linfen and the navigation was wrong. I came to Hukou Waterfall on the Shaanxi side and felt a little dizzy. The scenic area is good overall. The car was parked at the visitor center and the bus was taken to the waterfall. The Shaanxi side is basically parallel to the waterfall and slightly downward.
Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River is a Chinese wonder worth a once-in-a-lifetime visit. It's recommended to view it from either Shaanxi or Shanxi Province. From the Shaanxi side, traditional buildings are dotted with scattered red flags. Shaanxi offers magnificent views of Hukou, with its cascading rock formations along the shore. Stand by the river and marvel at the cascading, geometric structure of the waterfall.
Ke Zhenliang leaped over Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River, watched by millions. A sculpture commemorates his impossible feat.
