It was afternoon when we went there. The weather was too hot. There was no air conditioning outside, so we went inside the pavilion to enjoy the air conditioning. We saw three little pandas sleeping and five big ones waking up to eat. That was all.
We had to gather at 7:30 in the morning in order to get there early. We went through a special channel throughout the whole journey and saw the giant pandas in the opposite direction along the way. It was very suitable. The teacher in the group explained the content very vividly and interestingly. We learned a lot of interesting things and it is recommended to participate.

I bought a VIP ticket this time to skip the line and enter the park. The VIP service was excellent. There were VIP service areas at each stage where I could rest and enjoy free snacks, fruit, and mineral water. Huangguoshu Waterfall is a truly breathtaking sight and soul-stirring experience, awe-inspiring as it is the wonders of nature. It was well worth it!
On the first day, we arrived a little after 10:00 AM. Seeing the long line for the Huangguoshu Waterfall shuttle bus, we headed straight for the lower section of Tianxing Bridge. Before we even entered, we heard an announcement that the cable car was under maintenance and the entire journey would take three hours, so our elderly family member skipped it. It did take three hours. Because of the crowds, there were long lines to enter and exit Tianxing Cave and Yinlianzhui Pond, which added at least an hour to our visit. Afterward, we ate and took a nap. In the afternoon, we went to Doupotang. The next morning, we headed back to the scenic area to visit Huangguoshu Waterfall at 8:00 AM. The escalator package for the waterfall was easy, and with Doupotang, a half-day was more than enough. Since we couldn't get a reservation for Water Curtain Cave, reservations were waived for VIPs. The observation deck closest to the main entrance was inaccessible without a reservation or VIPs. 🌝🌝 Tianxing Bridge is not very friendly to the elderly and children, with many steps and a long, narrow path. Yinlianzhui Pond was nice, but the cable car might be a bit better.

Entering from the east gate, it's a short walk to the Buddha's head. It's especially crowded in the summer, so waiting in line for half an hour to get to the foot platform can be quite long. The area is quite large, and exploring it completely would probably take a whole day. Just visiting the several Buddha heads and the main temples would take five or six hours. There are plenty of restaurants just outside the entrance for food.

The entire journey takes 5-6 hours. We took a sightseeing bus from the high-speed rail station directly to the scenic spot (20 yuan per person, 35 yuan round trip, about 3 kilometers, and the only transportation available is the sightseeing bus. Hey, think about it, it's basically the ticket price plus 35 yuan, because there's no other option. You can walk, but there's a big hill ahead, plus the 6 kilometers... every step is calculated for you). From the foot of the mountain to Laojun Pavilion at the top, it took us about 3.5 hours. The scenery along the way is quite beautiful, but there are a few sections of the road that are extremely narrow and steep, with tourists crowded together "hanging" on the steep slopes, which can be a bit dangerous. The road is also slippery, and I saw several people fall along the way, including myself. Be careful with children. Snacks are the only food available, and they're quite expensive, but you'll definitely need to eat after 5-6 hours, so consider your own discretion. There's also a cable car, and a 5-minute ride can save you about an hour of walking.
