The Alhambra is truly beautiful and photogenic, with many girls posing for photos over and over again. If you go, be sure to book your tickets in advance! We arrived at 10 a.m. and saw that same-day tickets were sold out.

The scenic area is quite large and can be visited in 3 hours. I did not go to the Nazaries Palace, but I preferred the Charles V Palace. The parking lot cost 5.5 euros for two hours and then left.

The tickets were sold out on the first day. I didn&#39;t expect the Alhambra to be so popular. I later bought tickets for the second day through Ctrip. I walked around a bit. It&#39;s quite big and the routes are a bit messy, but overall it&#39;s a good experience. I may not have the chance to come to Granada in the future. I feel a little regretful if I don&#39;t go this time.

The beauty of the Alhambra lies in the fact that it uses architecture to tell the story of the glory and decline of a civilization. When your fingertips touch the concave and convex carvings, you can seem to hear the chiseling sounds of Moorish craftsmen; standing in the empty courtyard, you can&#39;t help but imagine how the former sultan paced and pondered here. This is not only the &quot;Red Castle&quot; (Alhambra means &quot;red&quot; in Arabic), but also a poem written in stone. 
The shock of the Nasrid Palaces (Palacios Nazar&iacute;es) 
- The magic of carving and light and shadow: The moment you step into the Lion Courtyard (Patio de los Leones), it&#39;s like being in a dream of &quot;One Thousand and One Nights&quot;. The complex geometric patterns and Arabic inscriptions on the wall form flowing light and shadow under the oblique sunlight, and the exquisite details are breathtaking. 
The soul of water: From the mirrored pool in the Patio de los Arrayanes to the gurgling water of the Lion Fountain, the Moors used the sound of water and its reflection to create the conception of a &quot;paradise garden&quot;, which is full of spirituality in silence.
A bird&#39;s-eye view of the Alcazaba
- Climbing up the castle&#39;s watchtower, you can see the panoramic view of Granada&#39;s old town with red tiles and white walls, and the snow-capped mountains in the distance are looming. The vicissitudes of history and the magnificence of nature meet here.
The healing feeling of the Generalife Garden
- Passing through the green corridor and rose garden, and climbing up the Patio de la Acequia, the symmetrical design of the fountain and flowers makes people calm instantly. This is the summer palace where the Moorish nobles escape the summer heat. Walking through it, you can seem to hear whispers from centuries ago.

The Alhambra is really huge. We walked around for 7 hours, following the Chinese guide, but it felt like we didn&#39;t visit the whole palace. We only visited the key buildings, and there were many gardens that we didn&#39;t visit in detail. The most beautiful one was the Lion Courtyard, followed by the Maiden Courtyard. You must visit the Alhambra in Granada once in your life to experience the shock of Arab civilization.
