Starting from Hongmen (Red Gate) is the most classic hiking route, with numerous historical and cultural sites along the way. Depending on individual circumstances, the entire hike takes 3-6 hours. Alternatively, you can take a cable car from Zhongtianmen (Middle Heaven Gate) to the summit. Tickets can be purchased directly. Wear comfortable shoes; other equipment like hiking poles is up to you.
The entrance fee to Mount Tai is quite expensive, but it's valid for three days. I plan to climb it again the day after tomorrow. The scenery is so-so, but the summit is nice. Online reviews make Mount Tai seem too difficult; I think it's easier than Mount Heng. Most prices on the mountain are well-controlled; even hot water costs extra. However, today there were students on an autumn outing, and one student asked about a stall selling oranges for 15 yuan each. I don't know if that's the norm or if they're ripping people off.

Visiting Jinci Temple, a garden with a thousand-year history, was a must. I missed the golden ginkgo season at the end of October. I hired an official guided tour, which was well worth the 180 RMB/1.5 hours; the guide was very engaging. Tall ancient trees are everywhere, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. There were many cats 🐈. The Nanlao Spring has crystal-clear water and maintains a constant temperature of 17 degrees Celsius year-round. I hope it can stay this clear forever.
I'd been to Taiyuan many times but never visited Jinci Temple, and today I finally made it. Even in the off-season, it was incredibly crowded, and there was traffic. Jinci Temple has a rich history, with ancient trees and buildings over a thousand years old, and so many more hundreds of years old. It was definitely worth the trip!

In winter, Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden not only features the still-brilliant International Chrysanthemum Exhibition, but also offers hundreds of immersive performances daily, two themed interactive events with thousands of NPCs, a Chinese-style amusement park, and many other exciting activities, fully recreating the prosperity of Bianjing (Kaifeng) in the Northern Song Dynasty and the charm of Song culture.
It's a traditional-themed cultural scenic area with dozens of performances, including several highlights such as the horse battle where Yue Fei defeats Xiao Liang Wang with his spear, the naval battle where the Jin army attacks Bianjing, traditional intangible cultural heritage acrobatics, and themed parades. The downside is the separately charged evening performance, "A Dream of the Song Dynasty in Bianjing," which reportedly features over 1000 performers. Perhaps due to its outdated design, it lacks originality and contemporary innovation, and compared to shows like the Fantasy City Theater in Henan, it doesn't justify the price. On the other hand, the chrysanthemum exhibition was fantastic; it was the first time I'd seen colorful chrysanthemums, and overall, it was a great experience.

The beauty of Baotu Spring surpasses even that of Jiangnan. The scenic area isn't large, but the three gushing springs are unique. They're breathtaking against the backdrop of the blue sky. The spring water is crystal clear, and the rocky paths are perfect for taking photos. There's also a memorial hall dedicated to Li Qingzhao and Wang Xuetao. Wanzhu Garden is also worth a visit. The entrance fee is 40 yuan. Jinan should really promote the unique culture surrounding these springs.
We went during the off-season, so we didn't see anything. It wasn't particularly exciting at all. The weather was very hot, which is understandable given the season, not the fault of the scenic area. The scenic area is very considerate; they even set up a water play area for children. Thumbs up! Definitely worth a thumbs up!

Three days for 100 yuan is a great deal! No pressure, lots of interactive NPCs, perfect for relaxing or bringing kids. The price is really unbeatable; we had a fantastic time and will definitely come again.
I've been here a few times before, and it's getting better and better! I got an annual pass, and it was worth it! Now there are dedicated free parking lots, and there's also a free shuttle bus to the scenic area, which is very convenient and hassle-free! There are performances everywhere in the scenic area, and many NPCs to interact with, making it very lively! You can also earn silver coins, which can be exchanged for items.

I spent the entire day, from 9:30 in the morning to 8:00 in the evening, inside that place called Henan, surrounded by tall yellow walls, binge-watching shows in a rush. It was an experience that was well worth the money.
It's definitely worth a visit. There are three major plays: "Ice Fantasy" is suitable for all ages and tells the story of ancient people in Henan; then there's "Li Family Village" and "The Train Station," both quite touching. The train station is a moving theater, which is very interesting. The rest are smaller theaters, each with its own strengths and weaknesses; I didn't quite understand some of them.

I came to the Qiao Family Compound because of the TV series, but it was almost closing time when I arrived. I hired a guided tour and walked through each courtyard like a special forces soldier, and saw the "treasures" hidden in the compound. The original owner's design requirements and architectural ideas for the entire compound were truly remarkable.
I drove through Shanxi, visiting the Li Family Mansion in Yuncheng, the Ma Family Mansion in Pingyao, the Wang Family Mansion, and the Cao Family Mansion. The Qiao Family Mansion was the best experience of all. The architecture was exquisite, the management was excellent, and the official explanations were very helpful. It's clear that with its fame and established reputation, both its operations and management have kept pace. Although the Qiao family were primarily businessmen, their family values and patriotism were truly admirable.

This 5A-level scenic area truly lives up to its name and is well worth a visit. The canyon scenery is beautiful, the water is crystal clear, and the experience of traveling through the canyon by boat is wonderful. The cable car journey is also quite long and enjoyable.
This was a last-minute addition to our trip, but it turned out to be a delightful surprise. Surrounded by majestic, rolling mountains, the area boasts crystal-clear, emerald-green mountain springs that cascade down the valley, creating a tranquil lake within the dammed area. The scenic area's tour route is well-planned, and the service and management are excellent. Almost every staff member we encountered proactively offered guidance and assistance. It's truly a highly recommended destination.

As expected of a top-ranked hotel on Ctrip, this hotel was the perfect choice for a family trip with our elders. From the ambiance to the service and dining, everything exceeded our expectations – a 10/10! Built by the lake, the hotel exudes the unique elegance of Jiangnan. Opening the window reveals shimmering lake views, and a gentle breeze carries the fresh scent of water. The grounds are dotted with pavilions and terraces, winding paths through lush greenery, and wide, smooth walkways with plenty of wooden benches, making leisurely strolls and sightseeing effortless for our elders. The tranquil atmosphere, away from the city's hustle and bustle, ensured our elders slept soundly every night. The rooms were excellently soundproofed, with warm, soft lighting that wasn't glaring. The furniture had rounded edges, and the bathroom thoughtfully included a non-slip mat, a bath stool, and safety handrails. The vanity height was also adjusted for our elders – these age-friendly details ensured their safety. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh, odorless ingredients with mild seasonings, perfect for our elders' palates. The buffet dinner featured local lake delicacies and authentic Hangzhou cuisine, with a diverse selection of seafood, grilled meats, and desserts. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality. The dining environment was elegant and quiet, with spacious tables that allowed seniors to move around easily. The staff promptly refilled tea and changed plates, making the experience effortless. Special praise goes to Ms. Xu, the Guest Relations Manager, who arranged a room on a lower floor near the elevator before check-in. As a benchmark hotel in Zhejiang, the Xizi Hotel perfectly met all the needs of traveling with elderly guests, thanks to its lake views, age-friendly details, high-quality food, and attentive service. Ms. Xu's professionalism and dedication made this trip to Jiangnan exceptionally comfortable and smooth.
This is a historically significant place. I followed the designated tour route and learned about Confucius's life and achievements. The most stunning sight was the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, its golden leaves breathtakingly beautiful. However, external management needs improvement; a bunch of tour guides were chasing after customers, which wasn't a pleasant experience! The street was also severely congested!

The immersive performance was excellent! The holographic performance is also well worth seeing! Kaifeng Prefecture isn't very large, so walking around isn't tiring! There was also a lot of interaction with the audience! Kaifeng is a treasure trove, definitely worth visiting again!
Kaifeng Prefecture, located on the north bank of Bao Gong East Lake in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, covers an area of over 60 acres. It was an important institution in the Northern Song Dynasty managing the capital and surrounding areas, and was hailed as the "Premier Prefecture of the World." It is now a Song Dynasty cultural theme park. Kaifeng Prefecture, also known as the Southern Office, was initially built in the first year of the Liang Dynasty's Kai Ping era (907 AD). Due to war and flooding by the Yellow River, the original Kaifeng Prefecture no longer exists. The current Kaifeng Prefecture is a cultural tourism area modeled after the Song Dynasty Kaifeng Prefecture Office, officially opened on August 14, 2003. Kaifeng Prefecture has nine functional areas, including the Prefecture Office Culture Area, the Bao Zheng Culture Area, and the Taoist Culture Area, and also hosts live performances such as "Welcoming Guests at the Opening Ceremony" and "The Case of Chen Shimei." Kaifeng Prefecture is easily accessible and has a superior location, making it a great place for leisure and sightseeing. I highly recommend it.
