Pirates of the Caribbean + Soaring Over the Horizon. There are many shows available, so you can adjust the schedule based on the actual situation – decide whether to do the earlier attractions first or this one. For the stunts and interactive elements, it's recommended to sit on either side of the stage aisle for a higher chance of interaction. The fireworks show starts at 9:15 PM, but you really need to arrive early – arriving at 8:30 PM is already quite late 🥲⁾. Find the best viewing spots, as crowd control measures will be in place to block the view from the castle. Once you find a seat, sit down and don't go to the restroom during the show. My friend and I almost got separated because I went to find a restroom; the lighting was poor at night, and it was packed with people.
Shanghai Disneyland: A Carnival Filled with Magic and Detail Stepping into Shanghai Disneyland is like crossing the boundary between reality and fairy tale—balloons on Mickey Avenue float like colorful clouds in the sunlight, the spires of the Enchanted Storybook Castle pierce the sky, and even the air is filled with a sweet, joyful atmosphere. All our beautiful imaginations come to life at this moment. The attractions here always precisely cater to different tastes. Soaring Over the Horizon is a visual feast, where in 90 seconds, the ride undulates through Arctic glaciers and the African savanna, with the heat of the Sahara and the fragrance of flowers from the Taj Mahal all around—an immersive experience comparable to a round-the-world trip. TRON Lightcycle Power Run is a speed enthusiast's dream; riding on a light bike through a laser tunnel, the 100 km/h speed sends adrenaline soaring, and the nighttime lighting effects add a sci-fi feel reminiscent of TRON: Legacy. The newly opened Zootopia: Hot Pursuit in 2025 brings surprises, featuring AR interactive racing cars with a 360° panoramic screen. Follow Judy and Nick in their chase of thieves, and even interact with Flash the Sloth at the exit for photos – a truly novel experience. Families can enjoy the ups and downs of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or roam Neverland on Peter Pan's Flight, finding fun for both adults and children. Besides the rides, shows and parades are unmissable magical moments. The Mickey's Storybook Express ignites the entire venue from the moment it appears, with 14 themed floats featuring Olaf spraying snowflakes, Slinky Dog wagging its tail, and Disney characters singing and dancing. Front-row viewers can even receive personalized waves and smiles from the characters. As night falls, the Enchanted Storybook Show arrives as scheduled, projecting Disney stories onto the castle with lasers. The newly added Zootopia chapter, combined with fireworks and reflections on the lake, makes every beam of light seem to say, "Always believe in fairy tales." The most touching tenderness lies in the details. Staying at the theme park hotel allows you to enter the park an hour earlier than other visitors, leisurely securing a prime spot for the parade. Enjoying Mickey Mouse muffins from Lumiere's Kitchen, paired with tableside interactions with Disney characters, transforms breakfast into a ritual. The staff's service feels almost magical, proactively helping with luggage, providing guides, and even remembering guests' anniversaries to create surprises with roses and badges. Even hidden attractions are full of fun: exchanging Disney badges with staff, taking a boat trip on Wishing Star Lake after 8:30 PM to photograph the castle's reflection—every detail makes you feel truly cared for.

On an autumn weekend, West Lake is like an overturned palette of colors, revealing the gentlest side of Jiangnan. Compared to the hustle and bustle of midsummer, the lake and mountains at this time possess a greater sense of tranquility and depth, worthy of slow appreciation. If you want to avoid the crowds, the western route of West Lake is an excellent choice. Yanggong Causeway is most pleasant in the early morning; the sycamore leaves turn yellow and fall, rustling underfoot, while the dawn redwoods on both sides gradually turn red, their reflections on the lake creating a misty, oil painting-like scene. Turning into the secluded Turtle Pool, the tallow tree leaves are even more vibrant than the red maples, egrets skim the water, and the sound of reed flutes adds to the serene beauty. The autumn colors at Flower Harbor Park are incredibly layered: sycamores at the top, red maples in the middle, and red berries of nandina at the bottom, all arranged in a staggered pattern. From the lakeside promenade, you can frame the scene of Leifeng Pagoda and the boats dancing together, while the fragrance of osmanthus wafts through the air, refreshing and delightful. In the afternoon, a visit to Yuhu Bay reveals a mirror-like surface, reflecting the colorful forests and pavilions, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a Monet painting. Even the taste buds are imbued with autumn's charm. Lou Wai Lou's sweet lotus root with osmanthus blossoms is soft, chewy, and fragrant; street vendors offer roasted sweet potatoes with ginger tea to warm your hands and heart; and buying a jar of osmanthus honey allows you to bring the sweetness of West Lake home. The only downside is the crowds at popular weekend spots; early arrivals are recommended to catch the first rays of sunlight. But when the autumn sun filters through the maple leaves and falls on your shoulders, and the fragrance of osmanthus drifts across the lake on the evening breeze, you'll understand why it's said, "Paradise on earth is nothing more than an autumn scene at West Lake."
West Lake, the heart of Hangzhou, is like a dignified young woman, gracefully displaying her beauty. She possesses not only captivating beauty but also a rich history. Like an elder weathered by time, West Lake always attracts countless visitors with its unique charm. Whether it's the willow branches gently swaying by the lake or the snow-covered Broken Bridge, it evokes a sense of longing, as if stepping into a flowing painting.

This place seems to be one of the synonyms for Shanghai. Strolling through it feels like traveling back in time to the past and present of Shanghai, with different scenery, different angles and different feelings on both sides of the Huangpu River.
As night falls, the moment you step onto the Bund in Shanghai, you feel like you've entered a visual feast and a spiritual dialogue that transcends time and space. Standing on the Huangpu River, the skyscrapers of Lujiazui on the other side of the river descend like a dazzling galaxy. The Oriental Pearl Tower, shimmering with vibrant colors, like a fashion icon, showcases the vitality and avant-garde of modern Shanghai in the night. The Shanghai Tower soars into the sky, its majestic presence demonstrating the city's ambition and sophistication. The lights of these buildings cast vibrant reflections on the river's surface. Amidst the shimmering waters, one can almost feel the pulse of Shanghai as an international metropolis. Every flicker of the lights speaks to the world about its prosperity and progress. Turning back, the Bund's international buildings, illuminated by warm yellow lights, exude a rich historical atmosphere. Each brick and stone of these Baroque and Gothic architectural styles bears the story of old Shanghai. The bells of the Customs House chime, long and deep, as if slowly flowing through the river of time, connecting past and present. Strolling along, one can almost see the bustling traffic of the Bund in the past, hear the hustle and bustle of the concessions, and the weight of history washes over one, leaving one feeling a sense of profound change at the city's core. In this blend of old and new, tourists weave through the area, pausing to take photos or whispering to each other. Like the hand in the fourth image, framing this beautiful scene from a unique perspective, each of us is a participant and recorder of this grand spectacle. Here, the fast pace of modernity and the profound depth of history seamlessly blend, allowing you to experience the charm of a bustling city while also allowing you to calm down and savor the passage of time. Exploring the Bund is like reading a three-dimensional book, each page offering a different, captivating experience. It combines the glitz and glamour of a modern city with the profound heritage of a historic city. This fascinating collision is captivating, allowing one to experience the unique spirit of Shanghai, a city of inclusiveness and vibrant development.

"Having seen the Five Sacred Mountains, one need not see other mountains; having seen Huangshan, one need not see the Five Sacred Mountains!" This is absolutely true. Huangshan has everything other mountains have. What to do at home with no one to care for you? Come climb Huangshan! Tian Du Peak requires reservations, so head to the West Sea Grand Canyon. With a vertical drop of over 1500 meters, climb it! Afterwards, your whole body will ache! Even lifting your leg will cause cramps.
After a long wait, I finally saw the true face of Huangshan. Luckily, the weather was great. I took the cable car, while my husband hiked. Different experiences, but the conclusion was that Huangshan is truly beautiful! My husband wasn't satisfied with just one day, so he hiked again the next day, visiting the West Sea Grand Canyon (a second loop route we missed on the first day). He shared the beautiful scenery with me when we got back. This is a scenic spot worth visiting again and again. Indeed, "After seeing the Five Sacred Mountains, one need not see other mountains; after seeing Huangshan, one need not see the Five Sacred Mountains."

The ancient charm of the scenic spot is exquisite, and Wangxian Valley is dazzling under the night sky, evoking a warm and touching feeling of human warmth. Wearing Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) for photos is the best way to capture stunning images. There aren't many performances in the evening; after 6 PM, there was only one bonfire show. It's recommended to arrive before dark.
We specifically chose a sunny day to climb Sanqing Mountain. We booked our tickets online and got our numbers in the morning. We quickly boarded the Jinsha Cableway and started our ascent. We climbed the middle loop. It was pretty good, though a little strenuous.

Autumn Charm of Wuyuan. I had always wanted to visit Wuyuan in Shangrao — a place that looked warm and inviting, filled with baskets of autumn delights and surrounded by elegant hills and tea plantations. Our weekend trip turned out to be unforgettable. We managed to explore four different villages, including the picturesque Huangling. The breathtaking views and the taste of black rice walnut tea paired with local rice pancakes gave us the energy to wander, take photos, and truly appreciate the local charm. The atmosphere felt peaceful and timeless. Wuyuan is a place that easily captures your heart and calls for another visit.
Although it wasn't the weekend, it was still incredibly crowded. The main problem was that many of the best spots for photos were already taken by photographers. We arrived a bit late, so there weren't many photos left to share.

Not as busy as the Yu gardens in Shanghai, and a lot more peaceful and open. We all loved it here.
I've been going there specifically because of its reputation. I studied Suzhou gardens when I was a child, and this time I came to Suzhou specifically to see and explore. The atmosphere and environment here are quite nice. If you're buying tickets, I suggest you buy them a little earlier to avoid peak travel times.

It's very ornate, and the building materials seem expensive, but there aren't many places to visit; many areas are closed. Even if you pay 150 yuan, you don't feel like you see much. The performances are just average; the scenery is gorgeous, but the dancers don't seem to be putting on a very energetic show.
I took my mom to try it out. The environment was nice, and the elevators were convenient for seniors. Since it was the off-season, it wasn't crowded, making it relatively easy to get around.

Worth a visit, but can be a bit confusing when you are not told which “pearl” you are at… but worth the visit and the view is good.
You can see the city lights pretty, enjoyed the glass bridge too. But a bit expensive for me cause the 360 view is too small . Overall is good

The weather was nice, and there were quite a few tourists, making it a good place to stroll around and explore. The air was fresh, and the signs were clear. The restrooms in the south gate corridor were very clean, and a thoughtful touch was that they even had warm water for handwashing – a big plus!
Located in a bustling area, it's conveniently located. The suite is clean and tidy, but the only problem is the poor soundproofing; I'm often woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of doors closing and people talking next door. 😅
