Weizhou Island has received mixed reviews, so we only planned a one-day visit. We took the Beiyou 12 cruise ship for the outbound trip and the Beiyou 25 for the return trip. Tickets must be booked in advance, and we booked late on Ctrip, so we had to pay a premium for VIP tickets for the outbound trip and business class for the return trip (Ctrip staff helped us secure the tickets, and I paid the difference via WeChat). To access the top deck on the Beiyou 25, you had to pay an additional 40 yuan, so be aware of this. The island's natural scenery is quite beautiful, and I particularly liked the Dishui Danping (Drip Screen). Renting a car on the island is much more convenient, but the 5 yuan parking fee at each attraction is quite unreasonable, especially considering you already have an island entrance ticket. The island still retains some of the indigenous lifestyle, which is great. However, I wouldn't recommend visiting during the summer months; it's too hot and sunny, and even sunscreen won't be very effective. Overall, Weizhou Island is one of those places where you'll regret not visiting, but you might also regret visiting.
Weizhou Island is a large scenic area. You need to buy a ticket to enter the island. The ticket is 98 yuan. I bought it on Ctrip, which was very convenient. I booked it online in advance before going, and the journey was smooth. Online ticket purchase is very convenient now. If you don't have cash to book the ticket, you can still buy it when you arrive, but you may have to queue, which will delay your time. So it is best to buy it online in advance.

Guangxi Chongzuo Detian Waterfall is a transnational waterfall. It is really spectacular to watch it on site, but the retention time is a little short. It would be better if it were longer. There are various viewing platforms in the scenic area, and you can take pictures from different angles.
During the flood season, the waterfall is absolutely amazing, beautiful and spectacular, but it's hot. I spent a whole day just to take a bamboo raft to see the waterfall for more than ten minutes. There's not much to see in the Vietnamese style street and the Vietnamese goods store in the food court. It was a waste of time to walk there. I was tired and had to spend another 10 yuan per person to take a sightseeing bus to the exit of the scenic area. It turned out that there were several viewing platforms on the road with beautiful panoramic views of the waterfall. It's a pity that I couldn't get off the sightseeing bus. In the end, I walked back to see the waterfall unwillingly, wasting time and money. I suggest that if you want to go, just go straight to the exit. The scenery along the way is great. Don't go to the other side to visit the Vietnamese style street unless you want to eat! The sugarcane juice in the scenic area is delicious, although it is more expensive than outside. However, I tried two places outside, and the hygiene and taste were not as good as those in the scenic area. Also, when taking the sightseeing bus from the visitor center, it is recommended to sit on the left on the way there and on the right on the way back. The scenery along the way will be better. The last picture was taken from the sightseeing bus.

Qingxiu Mountain is Nanning's only 5A scenic area, home to the Nanning Botanical Garden and Nanning's largest leisure park. The park boasts beautiful scenery and diverse vegetation. Recommended attractions include the 12 Zodiac Cultural Park, the Dragon and Elephant Pagoda, the Guanyin Temple, the Huanshan Xiuping, and the Jungle Paradise. Climbing the Dragon and Elephant Pagoda offers panoramic views of the surrounding Nanning cityscape. For those who prefer a more relaxed stroll, take one of the park's electric carts, which cost 5 yuan each way. It's well worth a visit.
The most beautiful lanterns I have ever seen, very sincere, a real version of the Wizard of Oz, but the tickets for the scenic area are sold in a mess, and the tickets marked for the 17:00-22:00 time period are not allowed to be used

The evening boat ride is breathtaking, and the scenery under the setting sun is picturesque. The lights shine even brighter after dark. The Sun and Moon Pagodas are particularly stunning, and the kids couldn't blink.

The Prince Jing's Mansion is beautiful, a tranquil retreat amidst the bustle of the city. The prince clearly knew how to choose a prime feng shui location. Formerly the site of Guangxi Normal University, it boasts both history and stunning scenery. The tour guide service was exceptional, offering free, professional explanations. Guide Mo, who is said to be a teacher, was very professional, patient, and thorough, even trying to explain as much as he could, knowing we were pressed for time. When we left to receive our blessing rubbings, Guide Wei patiently led us to the north gate. I'll definitely be back for a second visit during winter break.
The ticket purchase is worth it, there is understanding, there are experience activities, and the explanation of the No. 73 team teacher is very detailed and thoughtful. It is a very good cultural heritage study experience. Suitable for students and everyone interested in culture.

The Longji Rice Terraces were truly breathtaking. We visited both Ping'an and Jinkeng villages. The Ping'an rice terraces are winding and winding, while the Jinkeng rice terraces are majestic and magnificent. The journey was a bit long, though. From the Ping'an parking lot, we took a shuttle bus to Jiulong Wuhu, then walked to Qixing Banyue, and then back to the parking lot. The journey was quite long, but the scenery was breathtaking. We took the Jinkeng cable car and got off, but didn't go to the Thousand-Layered Ladder (we ran out of time). The view from the Golden Buddha Summit gave us a sense of commanding the entire mountain range.
The Longji Rice Terraces are a magnificent epic! Across the mountain ridges, a thousand-layered green belt winds and swirls like a giant dragon leaping, a scene of extraordinary grandeur. In spring, water reflects the sky, summer brings swaying wheat fields, autumn paints golden waves to the clouds, and winter hides in a blanket of silver, the four seasons transforming into a picturesque scene. The terraces, stacked like stairways ascending to heaven, embody the wisdom of the Zhuang ancestors and the ingenuity of coexisting with nature, a timeless masterpiece of humanity's interplay with the mountains and rivers. Walking among them feels like strolling through a gallery of heaven and earth, a breathtaking experience!

I took my parents and children on a three-day, two-night trip to Guilin, visiting Elephant Trunk Hill, the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, Yangshuo's Ten-Mile Art Gallery, and Xingping Ancient Town. I personally think the boat trip from Guilin to Yangshuo is the highlight of both Guilin and Yangshuo. For four hours, I thoroughly enjoyed the scenery along the river, while the rest of the itinerary was relatively insignificant. If you have the time, I highly recommend taking this boat trip.
"Guilin landscape is the world, Yangshuo landscape is Guilin", and the Lijiang is the essence of Yangshuo scenery. It is worth going. If you go there, you will fall in love with the must-check attractions: 1⃣ Huangbu Reflection (20 yuan on the back, the same style must be photographed) 2⃣ Jiuma Painting Mountain (rock wall natural "Hummer", try counting 9 horses) 3⃣ Xingping Ancient Town (Visit the old street, climb the old Zhai Mountain to see the Lijiang River turn) 4⃣ Yulong River (Bamboo rafting, See the small and fresh scenery of the pastoral)

Because of the water level of the Li River, the performance was changed. But it was my first time watching it, so I didn't know what was different. It started at 8 o'clock and ended around 9:10. I can only say it was okay. I personally think it was not as good as Guilin Eternal Love. Audiences left one after another before it ended. (Bring mosquito repellent spray and fans, it's stuffy and there are many mosquitoes outdoors at night)

This one performance offset all the previous complaints about the heat, the crowds, and the difficulty in getting a taxi. The performance was great and well worth the ticket price. There are many more performances in the park where you can take photos and check in.

I took my kids to Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Magic Painting over the weekend and the experience was absolutely amazing! I have to give it a five-star rating!
Each attraction in the park is unique, incorporating the cultural essence of the ten ASEAN countries. My favorite was "Fly With You," where you "fly" through Southeast Asian landmarks on a suspended chair, from the Grand Palace in Thailand to the Merlion in Singapore. The visuals were so realistic it felt like you were actually soaring through the sky. My kids screamed with excitement the entire time. There was also the live performance of "Song of a Thousand Islands," with its stunning combination of lights, water curtains, and song and dance. It felt like I was transported to a Balinese festival—the visuals were incredible!
The architecture in the park is also stunning! The French-style buildings on Vietnam's charming street and the replica stone carvings of Cambodia's Angkor Wat create stunning Southeast Asian photos—perfect for any girl!
Parents with children, don't worry! The park features a kid-friendly carousel, a jungle adventure, and a 4D cinema with a "Boonie Bears" themed animation, ensuring your child's attention. Dining options are plentiful, including Southeast Asian-style coconut rice and spring rolls, as well as simple Chinese fare. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.
The staff are incredibly friendly and patiently provide directions. Shade tents and fans are provided while waiting in line, ensuring a comfortable summer. The highlight is the evening parade before closing, featuring entertaining performers in international costumes, creating a lively atmosphere.
