The Qutang Gorge is beautiful! The boat trip was great, but Baidi Island was a bit of a filler. It was boring and newly built, just for show. After a long climb, I was speechless. The Three Gorges are truly beautiful, and the wonders of nature are always captivating! The only thing that's lost is the dam, which made the water so calm and still. It's a bit of a loss of the gorge's soul.
Personally, I think the entrance fee to the scenic spot is too high and the playability is relatively low. I suggest that friends who go there should have a tour guide to explain, otherwise it will be boring to wander around by yourself! Those who like history can go there. I am obsessed with Li Bai's poems, so I went there 🤣🤣

We chose a ferry trip and a return bus. First class is recommended, departing at 8:00 AM and returning to the visitor center at 4:30 PM. VIP service is provided throughout the trip.
Before departure, we had a simple McDonald's breakfast in the VIP lounge. We boarded the ferry using the express lane, skipping the line and going directly to the fourth floor, where we were provided with fruit, snacks, and juice. We also had a free VR session lasting nearly ten minutes, where we watched a short film about the construction of the Three Gorges.
At noon, the ferry arrived at Sanduping. Our group of nine enjoyed a group meal with a rich menu (the guide asked if the guests had any dietary restrictions). There were only two vegetarian dishes, and the rest were all meat, which was quite good for a group meal. The food was served quickly.
After lunch, the car that picked us up was already parked outside the hotel. In the afternoon, we visited the Three Gorges Museum, the Yangtze River Diversion Memorial Hall, the Three Gorges Dam, Tanziling, and Scenic Spot 185.
The tour didn't involve much walking, and the guide provided detailed explanations, making it a great trip for the elderly and children.
I visited here with my family and the whole experience was very pleasant. The signs in the scenic area were clear and the tour guide was very enthusiastic, helping us better understand every corner of the dam. The children, in particular, learned a lot about water conservancy projects and environmental protection in the science museum, which is of great benefit to their growth.

This scenic spot is highly recommended, featuring multiple live performances of various genres. Upon entering, there are two options: a cable car and an escalator, which are both energy-saving. It's recommended to allow ample time for the visit; a full day is quite relaxing and enjoyable.
The scenic area is small and a bit commercialized. The boat ride to and from the Three Gorges offers pleasant views. The elevators inside the scenic area are a rip-off, costing 30 yuan for three small elevators. The five elevators in the Three Gorges Dam are all free. The performance square was very crowded, so I only watched from the outside platform. Longjin Creek is a great place to play in the water, refreshing and cooling. Bring your own slippers if you want to play in the water; slippers inside are 30 yuan a pair.

I love our guide, Li. Her explanations are informative and interesting, and she's cheerful and enthusiastic. I can't get enough of her.
I had the same feeling listening to the guides at both Luoyang museums. As a history novice, I learned a lot. The experience itself was already great. If I had a deeper understanding of history or was more observant, I could unlock even more knowledge.
Sometimes, just by posing a question, the guide would expand on it. Now, I'm not only impressed by the guides, but I also want to say, Luoyang is truly worthy of this place.
Xiaoya's explanation was very patient and detailed. He answered all the questions raised one by one. There was a lot of communication and interaction, which gave me a deeper understanding of the history of Luoyang, the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties.

The scenery of the Earth's Core Valley is nice, and there are not as many people as in Pingshan. The package ticket price is more cost-effective than that of Pingshan. Personally, I feel that if you go to the Earth's Core Valley, you don't need to go to Pingshan. After all, Pingshan is far away and the ticket price is expensive. The main purpose of going there is to take a celebrity photo of a small boat. In fact, the Earth's Core Valley also has the same photo-taking scene, and the effect is no worse than that of Pingshan.

It's really nice to come in the off-season. You can watch all the shows clearly. The NPC interactions are also very enthusiastic. Tang City is quite large. The performances are mainly in the East and West Markets and the Vermillion Bird Gate. You can easily spend a day there.
The architecture looks impressive from a distance, but up close it lacks detail and a sense of history. It would be helpful if the performances and fees could be separated from the ticket price, as not everyone enjoys watching these shows.

Follow the cement road to the left of the "Ancient Longzhong" stone archway until you reach the scenic shuttle bus stop. To the right of the stop is a road up the mountain, the gentlest and easiest of all the uphill roads. This road leads to Tenglong Pavilion. Another road descends the mountain (on the side of Tenglong Pavilion) to Sangu Hall and Zhuge Thatched Cottage (two adjacent attractions) and then to the scenic entrance. I personally think you can skip Laolong Cave; it's quite ordinary and I might have mistaken it for a fake mountain if I hadn't noticed.
For children who love the Three Kingdoms, this is definitely worth a visit. It's an immersive experience. Although everything is a replica, you can at least see and touch the buildings, utensils, weapons, and culture of the Three Kingdoms period. There are performances along the way, so plan ahead (see the attached schedule and map). Unfortunately, we arrived too late and missed the Zhuge Crossbow and the cable car.

This botanical garden brings together countless varieties of peonies. The beautiful peonies stun all the tourists who come to see them. There are also many rare varieties that are worth visiting.
It was early April when I went there, and some of the peonies were in bloom. The most precious ones had not yet bloomed and had to wait until after Qingming Festival. Overall, it was okay. There were few people when I went there, so it was a good place to relax and unwind.
