Geographic location and appearance
Orange Island is located in the middle of the Xiangjiang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province. It faces Yuelu Mountain to the west and Changsha City to the east, and is surrounded by water on all sides.
The island is 5 kilometers long, about 40 meters wide at the narrowest point, about 140 meters wide at the widest point, and only more than 300 meters wide at the widest point. The island is narrow and long, shaped like a long dragon.
