How can you experience such beautiful grasslands without visiting Huitengxile? It's a truly stunning spot for photography. June, July, and August are the best months for visiting the grasslands! The average summer temperature is 18°C. A great summer escape: Huitengxile Huanghuagou Grassland
Huanghuagou is still worth a day's visit. It is not recommended to stay in a yurt as the sanitary conditions are poor. You can stay in Ulanqab City. You can go shopping and eat at Ulanqab Night at night, and you can also see the volcano the next day. [Scenery] [Value for money] [Value for money] [Value for money]

It was a wonderful trip. Due to bad weather, we skipped other more distant grasslands and came to Hadamen instead. I didn't expect the grasslands to be so beautiful. It was just rainy on the way down. Why is Hohhot so rainy this year? It really dampened my interest in the trip.
The value for money is incredibly poor! For a national forest park, they charge a whopping 70 yuan for admission! Why 70? Because it's 40 yuan for the entrance fee, and 30 yuan for the bus ticket, which you absolutely have to buy! The hike up the mountain is so long! It's totally unreasonable! I never saw anyone not buying one! And you have to get a paper ticket! What a waste of time! It's a pollution! The line for the bus was incredibly long! The line alone took an hour! It was raining heavily, and within five minutes of getting off the bus, we were already running off to wait for the bus back! The management at the attraction is terrible! They didn't care about people who cut in line! They didn't even actively arrange a bus to pick us up! We were freezing waiting for so long! The scenery was beautiful, but I didn't have time to enjoy it. It was beautiful, but the price felt high! Thankfully, Ctrip is working on resolving the issue! Traveling with a big platform is still the best choice 👍

Very beautiful alpine grassland, you can get close to cattle and sheep, and watch the sunset in the evening. You need to pay attention to your travel safety on the road, because there are some narrow sections.
The weather was bad when I went there, otherwise it would have been beautiful. Netizens are right: the best views are from Hohhot, driving along National Highway 104. After visiting Huanghuagou, the alpine meadows of Hongshiya are even more beautiful.

It seems that driving from Yinchuan is not cost-effective. The attractions are not complete enough and there are not many tourists. I came and made a boat and took a tour of the lake. The ecology is well maintained, the reed area is quite large, and there are many birds inhabiting. Many places in the scenic area are still under construction.
Wulansuhai Lake is really a scenic spot worth visiting. The lake is wide and there are many birds. You can buy some steamed buns to feed them. We got on a catamaran and sailed far out on the lake. Flocks of red-billed gulls were snatching the food fed by tourists. The scenery was spectacular!

After the fall, the colors of Kowloon Bay are colorful, red, yellow, green, and the trees are greener. The autumn rain falls, and there is a hint of coolness. The flowers and plants in autumn bloom, writing down the beauty and spirituality of nature. Standing on the top of the mountain, looking at the autumn sky, it is broad and comfortable. It is full of nature and beauty. The autumn sky, with its broad mind, makes people temporarily forget the daily busyness and daily trivialities. Or the mind of the sky can move you and make people's minds become broader, like the autumn sky

Volcanoes are one of Ulanqab's most striking features. Regardless of your experience, a visit is essential. Volcano No. 8 is highly recommended; it's incredibly dark and hot, and truly captivating. The beautiful scenery created by the volcano, the blue sky, white clouds, grasslands, and cattle and sheep is a highlight of the scenic area.
This kind of attraction requires off-peak travel and good weather to fully experience. I visited the volcano on Friday. The entire route was smooth. I easily climbed the mountainside of Volcano 6 and then descended to the crater in a go-kart. Ctrip issued my ticket quickly, and I could enter the park by simply scanning the QR code. It was very convenient.

- Beautiful natural landscape: The forest coverage rate is as high as over 80%, the natural birch forest coverage rate is 85%, and there are more than 400 kinds of plants such as Pinus tabulaeformis and wild cherry. The scenic area is surrounded by mountains and has abundant water resources. There are landscapes such as Longtan Waterfall. The scenery varies in different seasons. In spring, the mountains are full of peach blossoms, in summer, the mountains are green, in autumn, the birch trees are golden, and in winter, the snow is flying.
This scenic spot is very large, and it is quite good as an amusement park and a wildlife park. I took my parents there to play. It is very close to the provincial capital Hohhot, but it takes a long time to walk from the highway exit.

Wudangzhao Temple in Baotou was first built in 1749, the 14th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty. In 1756, it was given the Chinese name "Guangjue Temple." It ranks alongside the Potala Palace in Tibet, Ta'er Monastery in Qinghai, and Labrang Monastery in Gansu, making it one of the four great Tibetan Buddhist temples in China. With reverence for the deities, we made a pious pilgrimage to Wudangzhao. Public transportation is available from Baotou to Wudangzhao. A one-way taxi costs 150 yuan, though bargaining is permitted. Shared rides are 30 yuan per person. The Wudangzhao Tourist Service Center is magnificent, well-equipped, and the rest area is even more comfortable—the best I've ever seen.
It is worth a look, far from the city, so I reported a day trip, Chunhui Mountain Grassland in the morning, and it is more convenient to follow the bus at five in the afternoon. The murals are well preserved. There are not many introductions, unless you ask the explanation in the temple, one explanation is 150 yuan, I probably looked at it myself.

Laoniuwan has two main parking lots: Chengwan and Niuzhuanqiankun, about a dozen kilometers apart. Most drivers park at Chengwan, then take a boat to Tieniu Square (the scenic area directly adjacent to Niuzhuanqiankun). From Tieniu Square, you can see the first bend of the Yellow River, then take a bus back to Chengwan to pick up your car. However, every year in mid-to-late August, flood discharges cause the Yellow River water level at Laoniuwan to be very low, even drying up in some sections. Boat service is suspended, forcing you to go to Niuzhuanqiankun. From there, take a shuttle bus to the terminal, then walk 1.1 kilometers to Tieniu Square. This walk is lined with farmhouses and B&Bs, making it convenient for dining. During flood discharges, the water level is low and yellow, severely impacting the landscape. I personally think the scenic area should offer discounted admission during this period.
Families, went to the Yellow River Grand Canyon of Laoniu Bay, really amazing! As soon as you get there, you can see the intersection of the Yellow River and the Great Wall. This unique landscape is really worthy of being the "first bay of the Yellow River in the world". Sitting on a cruise ship shuttled in the canyon, the cliffs on both sides of the bank towered, the mountains and rivers reflected, like a natural ink painting. There is also Taiji Bay, a 270-degree large loop, from a height like a natural Taiji map, so shocking! Walking on the ancient Great Wall, touching the ancient masonry, as if you can hear the echo of history. I really recommend everyone to feel it!

Although the Shanhua Temple murals are works by teachers and students of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, they all inherit the ancient style and are the best works of artistic heritage. The statues are the masterpieces left to us by the ancients, each one is lifelike, and the four great kings are cute and adorable. It is definitely worth savoring slowly.
Figure 1 shows Liang Sicheng and the goddess, looking into each other's eyes and engaging in a heartfelt conversation. The four deities at the entrance are lively and vivid. These clay sculptures left a deep impression on me.
