Hemu Viewing Platform, also known as Haden Viewing Platform or Genghis Khan's Command Post, is located in Hemu Village, Burqin County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is the highest point in the village, offering panoramic views. It's an excellent spot for watching the sunrise and morning mist, and also great for astrophotography. From Hemu Bridge, it takes about 20-40 minutes to walk to the top along the boardwalk, or you can choose to ride a horse or a horse-drawn sleigh. Legend has it that Genghis Khan once reviewed his 100,000-strong army here, adding to the historical and cultural significance of the viewing platform.
