There's a legend that the Dazhao Temple came before the city of Hohhot. Hohhot was formerly known as Suiyuan. There's a saying that there are seventy-two temples, including the Dazhao Temple and the Xiaozhao Temple. Dazhao Temple, also known as the Wuliang Temple, is a Tibetan Buddhist temple that also houses Han Buddhist halls. It's worth a closer look. Opposite, the Xilituzhao Temple, the Five Pagodas Temple, and the Grand Mosque are all nearby and can be visited together.
Upon first sighting the Potala Palace, the Red Fortress atop Red Hill shone awe-inspiring in the sunlight. Slowly ascending the zigzag ramp, the murals and stupas within the palaces reveal the secret history of a thousand-year-old snow-covered land. The dazzling gilded sheen of the Fifth Dalai Lama's stupa silently speaks of its past glory. Reaching the summit, the view opens to the panorama of Lhasa, and the mountain breeze carries the echoes of history. The Jokhang Temple is a haven of faith. "The Jokhang Temple came first, and then Lhasa." Inside, butter lamps burn eternally before the life-size statue of Sakyamuni, brought by Princess Wencheng. The relentless footsteps of pilgrims circumambulate the bluestone slabs, deeply etched with prostrations, and the recitation of the Six-Syllable Mantra lingers in the air. Beneath the golden dome, the architecture, a blend of Tibetan, Han, and Nepalese styles, bears witness to the collision and coexistence of civilizations. From the grandeur of the Potala Palace to the piousness of the Jokhang Temple, the allure of this holy city extends far beyond its landscape. Here, every step is based on history, and every glance reveals the light of faith.

The experience of having tour guide Song Peng was very good. Every instruction was very clear. The car departed on time. He was very capable. He prepared some precautions for the tour items and some water for us in advance. He was like a big head. He carefully introduced the differences between each island and recommended the favorite items and ways of playing according to our needs. It was quite tight to visit two islands in one day, but there was no discomfort. I was very happy during the process.
The itinerary was very compact and reasonable, but there was plenty of free time. The tour guide gave a lot of tips on local food and drink, as well as some opinions. He told us about some historical changes in the buildings, which was interesting and vivid. The bus driver was very skilled, and the whole journey was very smooth. I slept on the bus until the end. I felt that the whole free time was very sufficient. The bus driver was considerate and lively, and gave souvenirs. His business skills were also very strong! He remembered everyone's needs and responded promptly.

The Zhenbeibao Western Film City wasn't originally on our itinerary, but it happened to be not far from our Anmo Hotel, so we planned to visit it the next morning. I hadn't read the film city guide beforehand, so I didn't know much about it. However, the section of city wall at the entrance and some of the buildings inside were indeed ancient structures. I had always assumed it was just a filming location for "Journey to the West," but once inside, I saw the names and scenes of many other movies. Overall, it was worth a visit.
Our tour guide, Xiao Zhao, was very skilled. The desert crossing was thrilling and exciting, something I haven't experienced in a while. The aerial video was also excellent and highly recommended. We recommend renting a car for a group of three with a large weight, as it will provide excellent comfort. Weather is also crucial; sunny weather will produce much better photos.

The tomb, eroded by time, appears even more desolate and weathered in the setting sun. Future generations will judge its merits and demerits, and the identity of the tomb's owner is no longer of great importance.
The Western Xia Tombs have a vast area, profound cultural heritage and rich historical materials. The sightseeing bus is divided into three sections: sightseeing bus, sightseeing electric car and horse carriage. The three different experiences allow you to slowly appreciate the three mausoleum areas that have been opened to the public.

The show lasted 70 minutes, featuring equestrianism, acrobatics, singing and dancing. Afterward, the horses' breeds and characteristics were explained. Afterward, you could feed and ride the horses for a fee. There was a slight odor inside the venue, so if you're sensitive, you can wear a mask. Those who aren't allergic will quickly get used to it. The shuttle driver was also very friendly.
It was a very shocking performance, loved by both adults and children. It allowed us to understand Mongolian culture and the importance of horses to the Mongolians. The actors all had unique skills and the horses were very cooperative, especially the many young actors, whose horsemanship was amazing and very impressive.

I saw this itinerary on Ctrip. It was very convenient. There was a tour guide with us. He told us how long it would take to get one attraction and recommended us to add another attraction. It was very good. It allowed us to make reasonable use of our time and add more sightseeing items. I was very satisfied.
I accompanied my parents. We had just finished visiting another scenic spot in the morning, so we thought we didn't have enough time. We briefly explored the World Rock Art Museum and then took a 20-minute sightseeing bus from the third floor to the ruins. The walk through the ruins was about 800 meters long, and the rock paintings were generally low, so the ground was relatively flat and there were few steps, making it quite comfortable for the elderly. Since we went in autumn, there was no water, so we just looked at the rock paintings and left. The two and a half hours was enough time, and the elderly weren't too tired, so it was a pleasant experience. As for the Han Hailin Studio at the end, we didn't visit it because of their walking distance. The main attraction is the ruins, which requires careful exploration of the rocks. It's quite interesting.

The scenic area is very large and beautiful. Walking in it, you can feel the magic and power of nature. I arrived at Yitiantian at 12 noon and saw the sunlight shining directly on the rock wall and moss. It was very beautiful!
I'm glad my notes are helpful. Below is my honest review of the Shaanxi Wave Valley Scenic Area, which I hope will provide further reference. Shaanxi Wave Valley Scenic Area Review Scenic Highlights: Wave Valley is renowned for its unique geological formations. Long-term weathering and water erosion have created undulating rock formations resembling ocean waves, creating a spectacular and dynamic landscape. The rich, layered colors of the rocks are breathtaking, especially when illuminated by sunlight. Suitable for: From nature-loving photographers to families seeking relaxation, there's a spot here to delight everyone. The hiking trails are relatively gentle, making them suitable for most travelers, especially those with children or the elderly. Experience: In addition to admiring the unique rock formations, the scenic area also features unique leisure facilities, such as observation decks, walking trails, and small exhibition areas. It's recommended to plan your route in advance to fully experience every corner of the area. Transportation and Facilities: The scenic area is easily accessible, making it easy to drive or take a tour bus from the city center. The scenic area has fairly complete infrastructure, including restrooms, rest areas, and some simple dining options. However, it's recommended to bring some drinking water and snacks. Notes: The terrain is complex, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Summer and autumn are the best times to visit; avoid peak season to better enjoy the tranquility of nature. Please maintain cleanliness, avoid littering, and contribute to the preservation of this beautiful natural landscape. Summary: Shaanxi Wave Valley, with its unique geological landscape and beautiful natural environment, is a worthwhile tourist destination. Whether you're taking photos, strolling, or simply relaxing, you'll find plenty of enjoyment here. I hope my review will help you better plan your trip, and I look forward to seeing you!

This scenic spot is rich in history, and you can see that the Great Wall's defenses are more than just a wall. The Mongolian cavalry performance was spectacular, and well worth seeing for children who haven't experienced horseback riding. The various shuttle buses were also very interesting.
It's still fun to go there even if it's not peak season. All kinds of facilities are good. It's worth a visit if you like the northwest environment. All kinds of services have been restored, but the lake has become a small river, which is a different atmosphere.

It's well worth a visit, much quieter than the Jokhang Temple next door, where tour groups rarely visit. Xilituzhao (Yanshou Temple), built in 1585 during the 13th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty, is a historically renowned temple. To experience the grandeur and beauty of its architecture, a visit to Xilituzhao is a must.

Navigate to the Gunzhongkou Scenic Area in the Helan Mountains of Yinchuan. Without entering the area, follow the road outside the area straight toward Suyukou National Forest Park or the Helan Mountain Rock Paintings. The entire route is beautiful! If you have time, all three attractions are worth visiting; each would take a day to fully explore. There are also many wineries nearby, each with a luxury hotel. You can enjoy the reclining Buddha at sunset, pick grapes, and taste wine. The wineries are also beautiful and can be visited for half a day or a full day.
Visit date: September 18th. Arrived at the scenic area at 10:00 AM and descended to the visitor center at 2:00 PM. Route: First, take the sightseeing bus from the entrance to Songtao Mountain Villa, then buy tickets and take the cable car up to Qingsongling. From Qingsongling, walk to the canyon cable bridge. We arrived just in time for the 12:00 PM canyon tightrope acrobatics show. After the show, we returned to Qingsongling and began our descent, following the sign for "Cherry Valley." Note: The descent was sparsely populated due to the steep incline and gravel sections. Therefore, I saw very few people descending. Since I was traveling with my parents, who are in their 60s, I took extra care, so the descent took a bit longer. However, with fewer people, the canyon was quite quiet. Tickets for the scenic area: 1) Entrance fee: Free for seniors over 60, so my parents were free. 2) Sightseeing bus: 20 RMB per person. Note: This ticket, like the entrance fee, must be purchased at the visitor center, not inside the scenic area. 3) Cable car and canyon cable bridge tickets can be purchased inside the scenic area. Because I was traveling with an elderly person, I bought a package ticket for myself, which included an entrance ticket, a round-trip sightseeing bus, and a canyon cable bridge. The price was 110 yuan, which was quite reasonable. I bought the tickets needed by the elderly separately.
