Visiting the Ice and Snow World in the summer is quite special. The temperature inside is around -18 degrees Celsius, which is quite chilly. We went with two adults and two children, and they had a blast, not feeling the cold at all. The ice slides were incredibly fun and a fantastic experience. It was a shame our little one fell asleep, otherwise we could have stayed longer. Overall, we had a blast.
The ice sculptures were quite impressive and beautiful. It was almost impossible to get a reservation for the slide and Ferris wheel, so I didn't get to experience them. The visitor center was heated. There were so many people dining that there were almost no seats left in a short period of time. After a long day of wandering around, it was a bit tiring. It's a rare opportunity to experience it, but it's worth it.

We arrived at 3:00 PM and boarded the thrilling ride directly. There was no line, so the ride was incredibly smooth. After getting off the ride and walking for a while, we finally saw tigers scrambling for food at 4:30 PM. It was quite a coincidence. The previous time we fed the tigers, the driver was very honest and didn't act like a big shot. He was very cooperative and the feeding went smoothly. This time, not only did we avoid the line for the thrilling ride, but we also happened to see the tigers scrambling for food. It was a truly wonderful experience and it felt completely worth it.
There are many tigers in Harbin Siberian Tiger Park, and they are all quite large. They sit, lie down, and walk in various postures. You can watch and feed them up close by taking a sightseeing bus. It is very safe and suitable for families with children.

The price/performance ratio isn't high, but the experience is. The cable car crossing the river is quite novel. Entering from the south bank, you have to go up to the fourth floor and then down to the third floor. This design is quite ingenious. We didn't catch the sunset, so we didn't have to queue. Later, we saw that they had to call numbers.
It was a great experience. Seeing the Songhua River was a unique experience. I really like Harbin, a city with a lively atmosphere and exotic customs. Northerners think the food is particularly delicious. Excellent.

This family trip was excellent, and the hotel's service and facilities were excellent. The most important thing was being able to see the polar bears in the room, which the kids loved. There was a meet-and-greet with the penguins at 8:30 AM and a small interactive polar bear class at 9:59 AM. You could even add a 100 RMB gift to the polar bears for Dabao and Benben, and the food was fantastic! 😃 The hotel is right in the Polar Park, and hotel guests get a 10% discount on food and purchases within the park with their pink wristbands. Oh, and there's a freezer in the corner near the front desk door with free popsicles! 😜 The room also provided drawing paper and brushes, so the kids could draw whenever they wanted. What a thoughtful touch! The hotel also offers a one-hour solo night tour of the Polar Museum at 7:30 PM, which is great for parents to relax and unwind. 😋 No need to accompany them! We stayed for two days, and the kids couldn't get enough. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again! Also, the "Heart of the Ocean" beluga whale show at the Polar Museum in the Polar Park is a must-see! It's amazing! Go early to get a seat!

The European architectural style, marble reliefs, and Corinthian columns make everyone exclaim "wow" when entering the museum, marveling at the magnificent palace. You can also learn about the development history of Harbin Pharmaceutical Factory No. 6.
A must-visit. The magnificent architecture is truly stunning. The view from the 6th floor is breathtaking. Away from the crowds, you can quietly admire the printmaking and architecture. You can even try out printmaking. The value for money is excellent. Booking tickets through Ctrip is quick and easy, and it's user-friendly.

It is very large inside, so it is recommended to walk around and rent a car to return. The various Russian-style buildings and garden castles in the scenic spot are very beautiful, and there is also a nearly one-hour Russian performance. It is a great choice to experience Russian culture and take photos in Harbin.
Overall it's good, the ticket price is not high, but the car rental is very unreasonable, I still have to complain, the fare is 265 yuan for 1.31 hours that day, and 25 yuan for every minute that passes. It's a bit tiring to ride a bike manually. It takes at least an hour and a half to go around each viewing point, and at least 3 hours to go around slowly. If you haven't been there, don't consider renting a car. In addition, parking fees are not waived. If you drive there, park outside the door, don't park inside

Sun Island Scenic Area: A National 5A-level scenic spot and Harbin's iconic landmark, it's surrounded by water and boasts breathtaking scenery. Free areas include Sun Stone Square, where you can take photos with the Sun Stone; Squirrel Island, where you can feed the squirrels (please bring your own sunflower seeds); and Swan Lake, where you can watch black swans gracefully swim. The shaded lakeside trees of Shuige Yuntian are a great place to escape the summer heat.
A long-established 5A scenic spot in Harbin. The song "Sun Island" brought this island on the Songhua River to national attention. Besides its natural beauty, the island's main attractions include the Ice and Snow World and Snow Sculpture Park in winter, the Polar Pavilion with its clever beluga whales and penguins, the charming Russian-style town with its numerous Russian-style villas, and the recent addition of the giant panda cheese and sesame. Across the river, Harbin's main city awaits, while cable cars and river boats offer sunset views. Perhaps this is a summer getaway for Harbin residents seeking family getaways. Don't expect too much; just relax and discover what you're looking for. Here, you'll find natural scenery, cultural architecture, and animals—a truly peaceful retreat.

Strolling Central Avenue, Encountering Century-Old Architectural Splendor Setting foot on Harbin's soil, I was filled with anticipation for the unique charm of this city of ice and snow, and Central Avenue was undoubtedly the centerpiece of my exploration. As I stood at the intersection of this century-old street, gazing up at the quaint wrought iron street sign, an indescribable excitement washed over me, and I couldn't wait to begin this wondrous encounter with history and art. As soon as I stepped onto Central Avenue, the breadstones beneath my feet caught my eye. Time-honored, each one is round and richly textured. Their close arrangement seems to silently tell a story of the past. Legend has it that these breadstones were laid in 1924, designed and supervised by the Russian engineer Komtrashok. Each one is 18 cm long and 10 cm wide. At the time, a single square stone cost a silver dollar, making it truly a "golden pavement." Walking along it, my steps unconsciously become light and slow, afraid to miss a single detail. Walking along the street, the first thing that catches your eye is the Chow Tai Seng flagship store. Formerly the "Golobus" Jewish Cinema, it was built in 1919 and is a prominent Renaissance-style building on Central Avenue. This two-story brick-concrete structure features walls constructed of simulated stone. The horizontal lines defined by the grooves give the building's base an exceptionally stable appearance, like an old man, weathered yet unfailingly calm, firmly rooted in the earth. The intricate floral patterns beneath the eaves resemble artistic treasures gifted by time, each carving imbued with the ingenuity and meticulous care of the artisans. At the corner, the main entrance's crowning floral ornamentation stands out, offering a warm welcome. The wrought iron balconies atop them are uniquely shaped and exquisitely crafted, their craftsmanship breathtaking. Imagine the days of yore, when, as night fell, balcony concerts would slowly begin, the melodious music blending with the laughter of the crowds, adding an endless romance and warmth to this ancient street. Although the balcony concerts are now a thing of the past, the beautiful scene feels as if it were right before my eyes, captivating me. Continuing my stroll, the building housing Matsuura 1918 Western Restaurant instantly caught my eye. It's the former site of the Matsuura Trading Company, built in 1918, and the only remaining Baroque-style building on Central Avenue. Its exterior is visually striking, with exaggerated curves and ornate decorations that perfectly capture the unique charm of Baroque style. The two giant statues of Titans, inspired by ancient Greek mythology, tower majestically at the entrance, as if guarding the building and its turbulent history. Stepping inside, the retro decor evokes a sense of time travel back a century. The exquisite furnishings and soft lighting exude a rich historical atmosphere in every detail. Ordering an authentic Russian meal here, savoring the food while immersing yourself in the stories woven into this building and experiencing the fusion of history and modernity is truly a rare treat. As we walked, we arrived at the International Trading Company. Built in 1922, it was once a fashionable foreign goods store on Central Street.
Harbin's Central Street, built in 1898 and paved with granite boulders, is 1,450 meters long and known as "Asia's No. 1 Street." A Harbin landmark, it boasts 71 European-style buildings in Renaissance, Baroque, and Eclectic styles, 13 of which are listed as municipally protected structures. Central Street was designated a "National Demonstration Pedestrian Street" in 2023. Daily, it draws crowds, making it a popular check-in spot for internet celebrities.

It was a very good experience. The key is that there are not as many people as Beijing attractions during the peak season. There is basically no queue for many projects. Find a hotel or B&B nearby to stay for one night and watch the show the next day. Dianping directly found the restaurant. It was delicious and not expensive. I will come again next year. I want to play for two days. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and swimming ring.
It was fantastic! I bought a two-day ticket. The water park is mostly indoors, so it's sun-free, and there's a heated pool perfect for kids. While the underwater world isn't large, the shows are fantastic, one after another. Add in the children's dynamic rides, and you'll need a full day to enjoy it all. It's definitely worth a visit! It's on par with Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park!

The hotel in the park is so convenient, and they even have activities specifically for kids, which was a real treat! We slept with polar bears, had breakfast with Taotao the penguin, and went on a nighttime adventure. Two days felt a bit tight, and we should have added another day! The front desk lady, the boy who played with the kids, and the uncle who greeted guests at the door were all very welcoming.
It is a quite good choice, for sure I would book it in my further trip. Thanks again!!
